Some people dislike Schthack server, others don't care, other like it... there is something for everyone. I didn't play there myself so I don't have anything to say. But I am afraid that I will lock this topic, I don't like the idea of this potentially being a drama fest or some kind of war... Might not happen ... but if it does, I don't want to clean up. When you'll finally take the hard decision to get rid of him; please think about all those people who want "clean streets", and do not leave it there. Leave it in a cardboard box under a bridge, it's totally fine as long as it doesn't move too much. Hence, I recommend removing the limbs first : you certainly don't want it to get back knocking at your door in the morning :|

Hello ultima, i haven't been online for a while now but for those who are trying to message me ( sentor, rashan, justin, auli, night etc... ), sadly i cannot reply or be active on pso, i can't even log on pso because i'm unable to use my PC since like a month ( windows 10 update killed my boot and my system recovery ;_; ) and i have to wait for someone to repair it because i need to restore and save important stuff... I am writing this from my wii U atm, and the less i can say is that it's slow and annoying lol but I'll give you news when i'm back. Peace and The Lord bless you all ultima

it's not much of a trick, but when it comes to bosses like that(dragon, and griffin) you should try to use the map. When the dragon goes underground you can still see it on the map. If you are on the other side of the map, you can easily dodge it by moving away from its line of movement(sometimes it will zig or zag on ya) Other than that, I think something you should just try to take it easy for a bit and try to make friends. There are more than enough players willing to help you level up, as long as you are cool you will find many people you can mesh with.

@chuk I might do that, but I might try and just stick the ATKspeed increaser without going for the power boost as well. Since it's my first time going through, I sort of want to do it 'naturally' rather than cheesing it with bought epic gear from higher level players.

No, DF is a weapon in the game. Dark Flow. It has a special attack that destroys enemies but to use it you have to always be at very low health, basically one hit kill health pools at all times. Learning how to properly move around the maps and use DF will make you a mechanically and technically skilled player, even if you don't have DF; to be fair, this game is very mechanically and technically complex when you get down to it. Learning how to use DF's special is a very big bonus and will definitely help you out in the long run.

You can die during the dragon's death animation, either by running into a lava pit or having the dragon fall on you. Raising your MAG is important. Different MAGs grow differently even when fed the same items. You want to decide which stats will complement your character, then feed it the appropriate items. For example, Hunters and Rangers usually want more POW than anything else, but also a little DEX. Dodging enemy attacks is pretty huge thing to learn if you're playing hunter. You open either the quick menu or the quick chat menu and it will allow you to move at normal speed around enemies

Typing /map like you want to say it will toggle a larger minimap. The hotkeys only work on certain systems (windows 10 i think). Theres a whole list of server commands you can use like this. But I'm on my phone and cant link them. also, before you do it alt+backspace will quit your game. edit: alt+u or alt+i will let you sit in a chair in lobby.

Welcome to ultima, your primary goal should be to have fun. Some key things to learn are : How to switch weapons easily, using the quick menu Understanding the power of Shift/Deband and Jellen/Zalure Finding your way in some of the maze-like levels Tekking up your weapons 10% upwards Knowing what kind of MAG you want for your endgame, preferably raise a few MGAs at once so you can train up multiple characters easily Make friends you enjoy playing with on a daily base Read up on guides for classes and which IDs get you the items you want/need Click on the link in my signature for some good guides and topics to start out with. As for making the map bigger, there is indeed a shortcut to make it bigger and in the middle of your screen but I forgot said shortcut. I'm sure one of our fellow players knows which buttons to press for it.

90% of the enemies on this game have avoidable attacks, you gotta learn how each enemy attacks and how to properly dodge/hit to avoid damage

It was run like the U.S. current administration. The top dog, cant remember his name, took donations for personal use and never really updated the server. No exp boosts and when I was there: no HH or Rare monster spawns. The community was tight nit though and I found some good friends. It was my first private server since I played offline GC and online xbox. Was only able to reach 182 when I was there. Had some serious gear but it's all gone thanks to not having a BACK UP. RIP Schthack and good riddance.
