Hi, I'm new here, and just started playing (I've played this before years ago but as far as it goes i'm pretty much a noob) . So, as the title says there's a quest in the side story menu in ep 1 that's in japanese. It's the only japanese text in my game so far. Is it a bug or a missed translation? And can anyone help me with what the quest is about?

Hi Enewm, I took a lot of time to read and it was very interesting. Anyway... Do you have discord? 😂 No, seriously... I don't know if it's a self challenge for you to have 100 member in each team, but The most important thing and the minimum is to know a minimum the members you recruit, and have a good time together. If you do not know them, they do not know you, it's like you're normal PSO players, but ... In a team. Useless in my opinion, moreover, let them join a team they would like and where they will be helped, because currently you let them join a team and they will be lost, because without lying it is impossible to take care of as many members, and I imagine no other member is helping because nobody knows each other. Do what you want, but that's my opinion. Good community and having a good time together, or cancer community & 0 fun? 🤔

In the case you suggested (total refund) yes. You'd need only one PGF for all 4 items at the end: - Play hunter, make a DF 100/100/0/0/80 - Decide to play ranger, cancel combination, get back PGF + Calibur 100/100/0/0/80, transfer PGF to your ranger and make DM 100/100/0/0/80 - Want to play hunter again, cancel combination again and remake DF 100/100/0/0/80 on your hunter - Etc All you'd lose is a couple seconds (to cancel the combination with the quest before transfering to other chars) Now if you suggest only the PGF refund and not the base weapon, it would be weird for other combinations since the point I first suggested was to get the base weapon back for the price of the combiner: Hundred Souls + Soul Booster = Excalibur => the point was to get your Excalibur back rather than Soul booster since Excalibur has a totally different use than Hundred Soul and I think it is lame that your Excalibur is "lost for good" as soon as you decide to make it Hundred Souls. I made an Hundred Soul set and I am now hunting an Excalibur set just because I also want to use berserk on my Hucast/caseal and there is nothing to do with the 15 remaining Soul Boosters rotting in my bank. I've also seen people stuck with a Psycho Bridge looking for a Dark Bridge while POST is not even that rare... at least those combiners would be "more useful" if they could revert that.

What about a quest where you can revert any combined weapon or armor to its previous state? Could even have it refund the combiner. The grinders and add slots used on the item would be lost in the process since that would be probably be a pain to refund. This would prevent that scenario of accidentally losing 2 combiners from using them manually on the equipped item.

Adding to Starlord's post, Lost master blaster also has Saint Million and you can farm alis resolve at the same time, unlike most other ways to fight Saint Million which make you go in subterranean desert

The nerf does suck, but it isn't the main issue. It is how this all unfolded. I don't think most people (myself included) would have bothered farming this gun had we known from the beginning that it would not have rifle range. I would have spent all of those HHs running weather effects or RocT farming Centurion/Battle instead of running MotV for SS. So now, instead of having 100+ dts worth of Serene Swans (Yes, I have 10 or 11 of these things in my bank) I have a bunch of undesirable paper weights worth a couple of pds. You guys have a golden opportunity to make this right. Its as simple as compensating people with a fair trade-in for other Summer event items or a fair amount of DTs. I just lost over 100 DTs worth of item value because of this whole thing, of course I'm a little bit upset about it.

If I may be frank, I have to agree that there is a moderate decline in the player base since I have started. I understand many changes are made periodically, however there are a few things that I do not agree with, or cannot argue in the defense of Ultima. I am the only remaining person from the group of people I started this server with and at one point deleted my team because everyone else left for various reasons and grievances to other servers. I understand the staff are hard at work for the things that we do enjoy and I am very appreciative, but to be honest I rarely play as there just isn't much to keep us going outside of varying hunts with occasional new items. When I started there was on average 80+ players always on. Now there is barely over 40. Please know this is not an attack. Just simply my observations and personal experiences. Here is a list of things I do not agree with or have personally been opposed to in discussions: 1. The refusal to make certain changes based on the lack of source code. Honestly, while I understand the legality behind it, there are servers who have acquired it through other means and make otherwise impossible changes to level designs, weapon skins, create entirely new weapons. The selling points of some of these servers is that they will go out of their way to do the very things that the staff of this server outright refuse to do and silence people on it. If SEGA honestly cared what happened, then all of these servers would not exist without paying SEGA some sort of royalties. Clearly they let this game die in their eyes with the Dreamcast and they ignore the clear abuse of the copyright for this game. 2. Change to veteran status. The definition of veteran on Ultima is clearly different than what the definition actually is now. Not that this status means much on here anyways, for one reason or another, but Logging in one day to realize that the amount of time and money I have dedicated to this server means that I get what little bit I have taken away is a little irritating. 3. Ideas go ignored. I understand that not all ideas are good, fair, or possible based on the rules and guidelines set forth by the server and lack of source code. However, many good ideas just get lost and ignored all the time. This is not a cry for PGF to drop year round. I have made a post on that already, but it must be acknowledged that if not all, most other servers do make it a year round drop at a much more reasonable rate compared even to our Christmas drop rate during HH. 4. PGF and other 1 time a year drop items. These items should not be at a drop rate during 3-5 weeks of a year that it cost $250+ USD dollars. If it is going to be exclusive to Christmas, then compensate the drop rates accordingly to where they become more accessible and drop the actual cost of these items. At one point I know you could donate for things like STA or PGF, but now I do not think you can anymore. This is a clear cash grab and is not needed. You could ask for donations by other means. You already do to add hit or percents to weapons. You also took away the hit events that used to exist with older GMs. 5. Punishment is not consistent. I won't name anyone in particular, but certain people are still allowed to post and be toxic, but others have been banned for less. I may speak for myself, but punish equally and fairly. If you are going to ban someone for something, but let someone else stay because they do other things equally as toxic or unacceptable, but was not the exact same thing, then why punish players to begin with. 6. Criticism = Malice. Again I have to agree here. Constructive criticism and or a calling out for lack of consistency in punishment or timeliness for events just get people told to stop talking about it and posts get locked by admin. If you are going to be in charge of things, then take the constructive criticism. This is not in any way approval for being attacked, but there is a clear difference in a toxic player being a downright jerk for no reason, and players with legitimate concerns or issues. If you cannot handle it, then honestly find someone else who can. It isn't fair to silence the people voicing legitimate complaints just because the staff doesn't like what is being said or do not care. 7. Toxic player base and staff that back down. This point is more at the player base that all they do is live to complain rather than staff. Honestly just leave if you cannot handle a simple discussion. It completely dumbfounds that we can't get new items and ideas without someone crying. The overwhelming majority of players on here are grown adults. Let us please act as such. For the staff, if you say an item won't change then don't change it. You have the complete ability to reserve items to GMs only and have them test the items extensively before release. If you test them and think they are fine, then leave it at that. It really looks bad with r-78 locked posts saying Serene Swan won't change, then Larva says the same thing, and then not even a day or two later Larva changes his mind. That doesn't make it look any better on the GM who just had the top dog defend them just to turn around and pull the rug out from underneath them. Again this is not a personal attack towards anyone or any group. Please do not read it as such. If you made it through all of this and still feel offended after I specified twice that this is merely an opinion based on observation and personal experience in the now 6 or 7 years I have been on this server and apart of the community, then honestly I don't care and you probably needed it. This isn't being toxic, this is just being honest. Thank you all who took the time to read this and did not take offense. I will not try to argue these points nor debate them. If you disagree, then I will simply agree to disagree with you and move on from there.

You implement a good item then nerf it to the ground and rinse and rinse and repeat. I traded a pgf in order to obtain enough points for upgrading just to have @Larva acting like a woman and making emotional decisions. No changelog no nothing no mention of reinbursment...just this is my decision and deal with it. Starting to feel like schtserv all over again. And with that said im retiring from pso. Big shout out to my TA team for holdin it down @Shoutgu, @Starlord, @HUNTER_, @Noob Saibot, @willy and my cmode regulars @duja1001, @BoomShakaLarka, @RocketTots. It was a good run while it lasted. No doubt this will get sensored or deketed as per usual since you arent allowed an opinion here and the world has gone soft. Goodbye.

@Noob Saibot Eggblaster mk2 is handgun range not rifle range. Even tho it has rifle animation. Also Centurion battle doesnt affect either Last swan or Serene swan at all, in fact the speed is the same with or without battle units equiped. But at the same time they also dont get affected by the slow motion status effect like in that MOTV room. Please dont nerf the gun but if you do just make it female only and keep it the same. However if you do that, would it be posible to water down Master raven's atp and combo unlock it for males? They really need a consistent and reliable ranged weapon. Real talk about HUcast + SS....the problem isnt the weapon but rather HUcast himself. On all the other HUs the weapon is fine as it is or even mediocre since on the others it needs good SD to work (specially on HUney) the problem here is that ANYTHING HUcast uses that relies mainly on the character's base atp is gona be good on him while being garbage on everyone else. This includes stuff like Crush cannon, charge/zerk mechguns, charge sup gun/water gun, Charge diska/DoB and just generally weapons with low atp. The diference with this kind of weapons between him and the others is huge and this is because the diference between his atp and the others is also huge. HUmar has the second highest atp and its still 230ish atp behind his while the other two are 330 for hucasy and 400ish for huney. Imo its time to stop comparing the others so much to him and stop balancing stuff so much around HUcast only while ignoring all the other HUs cause then youre gona end up with one class with decent gear and 3 with garbage. Further cementing him as the best HU. So if you nerf this gun the ones that are really gona suffer are the other HUs not him. Specially HUmar, even if no self-respecting decent human being plays him, he needed a good long range weapon, as its one of the things his equipment was missing. Just focus on what each class does best and its role instead of trying to play every class the same way cause no matter how hard you try the other classes will always fall behind hucast in terms of dmg. But not with the things THEY can do. Like demons and support for the fleshies and HUcasy being able to use specials more reliably. Stop trying to play every character the same way and approach your role differently with each class. So yeah...im against the nerf uwu

Well go ahead since I can't cover every scenarios as you said, you can read in the introduction & conclusion of my post that all tests and video-showcases from other players are very welcome and encouraged as written. So even if a part of my opinion does not suits your point of view, feel free to post what you find right with ingame facts if you feel the need to (as Noob Saibot did for example).

Honestly at this point people need to look within themselves, If you are full of keyboard warrior rage, then you leave no room to listen. @jezbuz and @Noob Saibot have gone above and beyond for this community and deserve the upmost respect, their opinions are as valid as everyone else's here and threats of a bans and getting cursed at are ridiculous and uncalled for. I know as leadership you become a target sometimes but you must be better then that and prove yourself with your actions and feedback to build trust in your community. You must be the example, nobody is perfect but if your in a position of power you must know that people are looking up to you to make just decisions and be fair. Good luck folks. Literally any redria can farm lost shock gugnir on ep 2 on normal for addslots during green names. There is no point in making them more available when there is a command to change IDs Edit: I typically get 6-13 per run when I need to farm them w/o HH.
