Mechs are strong for sure, but they are also a slow on recovery; if you don't actually need that many attacks and just want a few big hits fast, then you may choose to use heaven striker or excal or such things. UR is also unreliable on lizards at times (especially yowie underground), since hell can fail to activate. It's still good on them, but the lucky 1 attack kill isn't going to happen as much as 2+ combos where you just don't kill because of edk failure, while excal can be much more reliable and consistent.

If that were the case it would be on the donation list. Saying things like that means you have no idea what it was like then, it's definitely not about money

Fury of the Beast is a dagger, not fist. It's basically a (slightly better) charge daylight scar. Also super sweet looking.

I think it's maybe an issue with the npcs not being interactable during the quest, it's been awhile since i did the quest though. I'll try to investigate some, I've done the quest many times but I've never actually died (or had npc die) to the boss, even the few times I did on ultimate.

I don't encourage the use of the donation list just for items, it's just there to give something to those people who do choose to donate to support the server. It's not meant to be (and generally never has been) used as an actual comparison for items, that's what the official price guide is for.

Sadly it's not possible to have bosses drop more than 1 rare item. People didn't have to do only rt though. There are multiple ways to reach olga flow, and rt isn't even the fastest way. I was running other things because I think RT has really bad spawn and map design, and some of them do actually give extremely notable drops on the way (roct rewards like yas9k, red sword, and samba maracas along with high-tier tower drops like sjs, wd, or high-tier seabed drops like zanba and yas7k); finding up to 85hit roct reward or an sjs or zanba (zanba is stronger than dark flow, and tjs is nearly as strong) are certainly quite worth. I am for the idea of other events also dropping pgf so that it happens like twice a year instead of just once. We did have quite a lot of pgf drop this year though (definitely had over 100 of them at least), significantly more than previous years.

The pm is automatic once you actually make the donation ("would like to" sounds like you haven't done so yet?). If you did make one and haven't received a pm yet, then pm me and/or other GMs and we'll work to manually confirm the donation and figure out why the automation didn't happen.

They don't actually usually sell for that, usually sell for less. But then one person rips someone off and nobody bothers to try to argue because they want to rip people off too. We probably are going to reach 100+ pgf drop this event, and you say the price "probably about to go up"? They weren't even selling for that much before the event started (most of the time when people payed exorbitantly it was for max sphered dark weapons, not just a pgf; when people offer 150+ for a maxed dw, half of that is in the sphering). They aren't actually worth that much and there are plenty around right now.

@Tru I do like the material idea (though honestly newman base - max differences are so huge, I'm not even sure 250 mats would allow for no unit 1 mag plans). With regards to gi- techs though, I can't see gifoie being buffed any higher, it is already dangerously close to being broken when using all the techboosts, and with gibarta it's difficult to find any ground where it both doesn't suck but isn't stupidly OP, the tech is so bad that to be worth using it has to exceed any reasonable levels (Gizonde is one of my favorite techs though). I'm glad you enjoyed all the new stuff we came up with, and I hope you'll enjoy what we have planned for / come up with in the future too.

Just so people don't get the wrong idea from this thread for their own future offering/pricing/etc.; Samurai Armor isn't worth any more than 30pd / 5dt, if even that much (could go lower easily). It's like a 1/11 drop from saint million in event, quite easy to get.

Worth has to do with relative values to other items as defined by a currency. But really, I need no further explanation than this

No abeast is required for it on dark weapons (at least my dm is 0abeast and I've gotten it 2p w/ fo as well). It can help when he does his weird double circle desync, where he circles to the left side immediately and then warps back to top of raft and does it again. This *might* be manipulable if everyone runs to the left side immediately, but I'm unsure. However, you don't even need dark weapons to get a quickkill. It can be done with much less; good vanilla TA teams can do it with 20shifta, 2 DoB hucasts and 2 S-Rank Berserk Launchers.

You really didn't understand that thread you are linking then. It's funny you mention butthurt and that thread at the same time, because that's exactly why that thread was made. The reason that guy was angry was partly because they were frustrated hunting pgf, and partly because they had made like 5 B>SJS threads and a similar number statuses, in the span of 3-4 days, and mud was among several people telling him to cut it out with the multiple postings (which he had already been warned about, and was about to have further happen when he posted that thread). At the time, mud had gotten several item banners; however, he wasn't really all that active on the forums (no more than any other common user), nor was he really a big 'praise humar' memer relatively speaking. Everyone that jumped in on that thread to echo such sentiments was only doing it ironically. They were turning it into a meme because everyone instantly saw how stupid that thread was and knew what was actually going on. Some of the people that received dts from his 'giveaway' even sent screenshots to him of themselves regifting those dts to mud to further the irony. Mud was nothing more than a easy known target (since he had commented on his status telling him to stop, and since his name appeared in item banners recently) for him to vent his frustrations of not getting pgf at, but the whole thing was baseless and just plain stupid. If you had read through that thread, you probably would have been able to catch the sarcasm / satire of the other posters and my short explanation at the end of it. Perhaps it is time to bring back the meme though.

It's a bug that happens sometimes. The cutscene breaks and doesn't play, and you don't see any spinners except for a colored one that shows up in the middle of the rock after 20 seconds or so, though it can be hit with things like grants. It actually makes it a little easier in some respects, since you don't have to deal with other spinners killing you in the meantime. You can still beat the boss even if that bug happens.

The latest patch is also available on the downloads page if you can't update through the launcher for some reason (though you should attempt to get that working). Your items are still there, they just don't have the correct names on them. When we add new items to the game through events, it requires updating the file that contains the list of all the item names, so when you don't update properly the names are shifted downwards and you can see some strange names sometimes.

Or the fact that pso doesn't the leverage the gpu for anything. I think there's only 2-3 things total in the game that it'll actually use the gpu at all for (I think maybe water reflections and something in ep4 like merissa a/aa texture or hot sand room fog?). Not entirely sure which things, but 99.9% of everything in the game is done by the cpu only.

I don't think it's possible to do that kind of thing. The common drops would just be everywhere, not on a specific enemy. Lucky coins aren't a physical drop either. I would like to have more quests with lucky coins though, especially in other episodes.
