Isn't the real issue in this story that no one mentioned DB/PB ? Why is Dark Bridge so much of a garbage compared to DF and DM ? So much inferior that an upgrade was needed for that item ! Upgrade that is not even good enough to rivalise with DF or DM. Also am I off topic ? No Auroboro, such a rule would do no good at all. PM are needed for the trades anyway, but it's like everything, too much of it kill it. Also my only concern, hypocrisy apart, is the following : selling and auctioning get confused nowadays and this leads to a lack of information preventing people to participate correctly in the said sell/auction. Not even to mention rip off, though it's part of the whole merchant thing. Now am totally aware that it is not a big deal (after all, people do what they want at the end), I just wanted to speak my mind about it ; and I did. Now this topic can be closed.

No you don't understand, one of the issue is that people actually don't even negotiate. They expect you to overpay right away and fright away as soon as they're not happy with your offer ; and as such, it can -should- be discussed and haggled. Of course you'll take the highest offer, who wouldn't ? That's not even close to what I was saying, please don't post until you've read and well understood what's at stake ; off topic is one the first source of drama.

Also am not targeting anyone in particular, it's been weeks people are doing so ; either because they don't know how to do it properly or don't care about it. Hi there, I wanted to make a little point : Sell : you set a price, people buy it or not. Eventually if several people want it, you sell it to be highest offer. Generally small/common items are being sold, because most of the time the price is easy to evaluate. Auction : you set a starting price and a countdown, you wait the end of the countdown to take the highest bid. Normally big/rare/valuable items are being auctioned because the price can vary a lot depending on how much people want it. Also those items are often the kind that you can only get during events, or have really high stats, or are just plain hard to hunt : which makes their price even harder to evaluate. Disguised auction : You give a price (or not huhu) then ask for people to pm. You receive a first pm saying I offer "that", then a second offering less than "that", so you answer to this second pm that the price should be at least "that+" in order to win the auction be the one that will get to buy your shit. You ask for offers and getting pm, you don't give any clue of nothing and you expect to have a shiny overpriced offer coming out of nowhere. You try to get the maximum price out of shitty/common items. Generally : you never say anywhere that you're auctioning (can even use the S> in order to disguise even better), but everything in the way you "sell it" looks like an auction, except it's not following the rules Why am I being a bitch about it ? Because this kind of thing : "So this car is for sale, what do you offer ? Also please don't say it out loud, whispers it so that other people don't have any clue." looks way to shady and it kinda of dissuade me to participate at all. Not even to mention some of those sellers that will just feel offended or leave the PM without saying a word. They ask to offer blindly and when we do, they're not happy. Basically they just want you to offer all you have at once or get out of their way ; no compromise, no haggling. That's (among other things) why Cyane made a clear topic about auction rules : Now, that said, am quite sure that most people are not doing it on purpose. Some of them just don't know about the rules, some of them have no manners, and so on. Well, it's not too late to get better at it ! Of course there is no rules preventing someone to be a jerk and saying "am selling it, I told you am just selling it, am just not happy with the current price so I wait for better". People to which I'd answer : "then don't sell it now, wait until you're happy with what people could offer". Or, make it an auction so that people know what to expect. At the end of the day, it's mainly about me not standing this kind of hypocrisy ; but am sure am not the only one in this case =)

Wrong thread for that kind of topic, also you seems to be auctioning, so please set a starting price and a countdown so that people have a slight idea of what to expect. We don't even know what you want =/ of course we could assume you just want a big bunch of DTs, but that's about it and that's only assuming.

Given that it was a sword with unreduced demon's, I figured it'd be a useful weapon...but it is not, for it miss way to much (ofc I mean with max ATA + RR + 80 hit, but hell ! we should not even need all of this to at least connect one hit correctly)

@bloodseeker Also take in consideration that % only works on the raw ATP of your weapon, it does not count grinders. So say you got a Red Sword +52 , your final ATP is 715 because of the grinders, but the base ATP (without the grinders) is 611. So if you have 100 % native on that Red Sword, you're not going to have 1430 ATP against a poor Booma, you're going to have 1222 ATP (the base + 100%). I wanted to stress this point because certain weapon have almost all their ATP from their grinders, such as Type weapon. A type SS/Sword by example is not really worth sphering, for you only gonna have 300 ATP with 100 % attribute instead of 800.

The quest is called "Gallon's Shop", located in episode 2 and the man is called Paganini. 1 photon sphere = 99 photon drop So as long as you got the photon drops, you can indeed do it yourself. Now that said, Photon Sphere are a bit undervalued on Ultima ; so it's likely you'll got a better deal from a player than from Paganini. The only difference being you'll not find a lot of players having photon sphere (because it was not really worth it when people were regularly trading DTs for PDs ; which is not the case anymore).

This topic now looks like a flood topic anyway here is my overgreat mastersilly ideas : G... giant buffed Rappy bosses ! Imagine... a special quest with "Goran Detonator sized" Rappies. They'd be overbuffed, they'd loot Centurion/Legs. More generally, having some quests with buffed giant enemies (I heard it did exist somewhere, I've seen a giant Sinow screenshot...). By example, I'd like to see a "Gryphon sized" overbuffed Canadin and fight it as a boss in a large area ^^ could put a Centurion/Body on it =P Buffed monsters + new quests + new items = more challenge and fun Now, I have no idea (yet) if it's doable (the giant monster thing), but if it was considered positively, I'd help finding out how to do it.

If selling PSO related items for real money is against the rules, then gift cards should not be an exception for it is real money in a way. To my mind, saying otherwise is just playing with words or plain hypocrisie. If the purpose of those rules were to keep the money for the server, then it's clearly leaking if someone sell for Gift cards. But I guess it's more law related... Ultima have no control over Steam/Gift Card/name it ; therefore if something goes wrong, there is no way to ensure your money is safe.

More than 75 % of PSO items are "collection" anyway ; so yeah Sword of Ultima is a trophy (like Ultima Mag by the way). Too bad that in addition to be useless they're also bad looking xD *back to Dragon Slayer hunting*

Last time I was lazy so I decided to do only 3 runs for Asteron Striker. So here is that Imosgid with Skyly ID beginning her first run, 3 Goran Detonators after I got my first Asteron Striker. How lucky or easy can this be ? I wonder...

Oh wow nice catch ! I don't see how it could be a mistake, perhaps Olga actually give PGF with some IDs... one thing to check. But most certainly not to be honest ^^ traditions are unlikely to be broken after all
