Hello! I am the entity known as Ryuen Tran! I've been playing PSO since its DC days and after a bout of nostalgia I looked at one private server I usually go to only to see no activity for a couple of years. One Google search later, I come across this server and decided to give it a shot. Normally I play Hunters, but I'm a might rusty. Oh and I've been known to stream PSO at times so don't be surprised if I go "You're on Candid Camera! Smile!"

Hello! I randomly came across a DC emulator and a pso rom and while it was very glitchy the opening fmv brought all the hours of joy flooding back. And after a short search I found here I played PSOv1 on the DC from launch it was my first "mmo" and I was hooked, the years playing games offline by myself suddenly seemed irrelevant. however with the rise of the dupers, the very large phone bills (1p per min in the uk?) and the death of my dc my interest waned Ive spent 12 years since playing Final Fantasy XI Online on the PC, Very simler in its Japanese influences, been looking for something to play in the downtime while waiting for parties there and what better than PSO? Anyway, cant play right now server down orz, but nice to meet you, and I look forward to exploring Ragol again when its up

to people who want "ultimate Boosted" , thats stupid . the only person ive seen said it , actually isnt as good as he thinks he is xD besides theirs quests that you can do that are tough as hell like max attack S on ep 2 or Raid on central tower (Ultimate Only Quest) i'd like to see them take that quest on solo or with a hucast . in my opinion , they're just saying that to look good by saying they want a harder ultimate lol

Go to your PSOBB data folder, and locate 2 files unitxt_e.pat unitxt_j.prs Follow these steps Backup unitxt_j.prs Delete unitxt_j.prs Rename unitxt_e.pat to unitxt_j.prs Start the game until it patches, then start the game again and verify you have the correct names ??? Profit... i mean delete the backup of unitxt_j.prs (if you made any)

More custom-made server quests like Wrath of Forest would be cool. I'm getting tired of just playing TTF whenever someone enters my room. What I don't want to see, though, is any pandering to the players who want to make Ultimate even harder than it already is. I mean, I understand why high-leveled players with high-end equipment would want a challenge, but for average players like me, Ultimate as it stands is already a hassle. I'm barely scraping by, even after finding some low-end rares. I haven't been here long enough to have gathered an entire warehouse full of awesome stuff. Bumping Ultimate's difficulty even higher would turn those awesome rares into a requirement to survive, not a reward for one's time and dedication. I don't know what the answer is to giving experienced players a real challenge (theoretically it should be Crack mode, but I haven't seen that available since I joined), but whatever happens shouldn't make things even harder on the newbies.
