OCURRED: September 2nd, 2014 at 6:04 AM server time (9:04 AM eastern time) GUILDCARD: 42116737 SLOT #: 1 I had just finished getting a whitill racast to 200, so I transferred to my oran ramarl in a bank room to level more. I went to lobby and pressed change blocks to save the transfer, but it froze and i couldn't move or type, but I could still see others moving and talking. Eventually I alt + backspaced because it wasnt doing anything, and when I logged back in the transfer didnt go through and the items weren't on either character. Not sure if a rollback could work since I had it on my ramarl for 1 minute before I changed blocks and lost it all. Could rollback my whitill Racast on a different account to get them back, but then I would lose level 200. Heya! I'm Raefar (aka mini-under9000), 25 years old and studying physics, currently on recess. I started with PSO more than 10 years ago, when a buddy invited me to show some interesting game - and it was a moment of clarity. I still can see his RAmarl running away from those green sharks in Cave 2. So, yeah. We never were able to play online back then, and we lived in our small universe consisting of 3 players and memory cards. A few years ago I found out about Schthack (remove name if (involuntary) advertising is not allowed in this section). That was another moment of clarity. Sitting in my chair and.. er.. A week ago we all came back to Schthack and found our charakters alive. But most of the inventory gone. Kind of depressed our third man started an aimless search on the web and found Ultima with all its benefits. I am impressed. This community may be not overly big but it is awesome. I talked to one guy for a couple of minutes and he just says "cmon, we'll get you some levels" and pulls me from level 37 to almost 60 in one go. While he does so he gives me a fully grinded Spread Needle with decent stats and some other guns (You know, after owning a From the Depths, 4 S-Needles, a high hit HP, about 20 mags and much more and THEN having to start again from scratch, that Spread Needle was a PSO-orgasm straight away). A day later that guy gets some friends, who are just as nice as him, and they pull me from 80 to 130. (And he got for me more Heavenly Abilities than I could equip) I haven't felt so good in a community before. I like Ultima. Raefar By the way: I was putting that spread needle into the common bank for another char. And while i was doing so the game decided to lose the connection to the server. The Effect is, that i've lost the needle. It is simpy gone. Do you think I have any chance for an admin to restore that item? Or should I just forget it?

The thing is, it still is a good idea to change blocks after transfers 99% of the time. This sort of thing happens when after you have transferred, the login server goes down. Thus it saved that you transferred the items off of char 1, but then it doesn't save that they are on char 2 when you d/c them, and they dissappear. The login has to go down between your transfer in a specific way for this to occur. It's like that one time when one of the gm's was cycling between lobby decorations quickly, and one person saw a hallo rappy spawn in the < 3 seconds the halloween lobby was up (though they didn't get anything). I've seen 10x as many ??? bugs happen from desync as I have server eating items from login going down. While it's technically possible that it happens, it's just a very unfortunate and unlikely occurrence. Seriously though, hope you get fixed up quick, it really sucks when it does happen.

Hope everything gets solved. Happened to me before but it was with minor stuffs. If you need some gear while you get your stuffs fixed ask me :3

We have to do a topic for say everyoone , do never change block after xfering stuff between same account or even same account, it happend to me 2 times , that really suck :/ , everyone should hear about this bug!

Ouch, sounds like the login server went down between just between your transfer, and thus nothing was saved during that time. Hope you get fixed up soon.

I think it will... there are files for english portuguese and spanish... they all patch one the game use... so that would be kinda easier try that first.. thanks Ricardo!

when i start playing i had the same problem. i put in option Portuguese language, only got fixed when i changed to English. after restart all got fixed. don´t know if changing your language will force patch to fix it.
