Try to get an Ultima Reaper (if you like the way it looks of course). It's very strong (+666 atp), and very affordable. You can get a hitless one for around 10 pds. I used a hitless one for my melee FOs and my Hunters for a long time. It works just fine without hit as long as you aren't focused on using the special.
