  1. I don't know if I like that idea. That means replacing the actual pgf drop itself, which means no one could get one before they had that many tokens. People would also only try to buy everyone else's tokens rather than doing runs themselves. Probability math says that more people are going to find a pgf in under the rate of runs than people that have to go over the rate, but doing it like that would mean nobody would ever get one in under the rate. This would actually make pgf harder to get overall, not easier.
  2. I don't mind actually good shitposting, but not only is this just plain stupid, it's also baseless and needless inflammatory dramabaiting. Keep the shitposting away from that kind of thing please. If you are going to use a thread to do some memeing, don't make it like this. Make a corrolary to the 'talk about the person above you thread', like 'trashtalk the person above you in meme form' instead.
  3. It sounds nice in theory, but it's not necessarily practical. That would mean having to record how many times someone has killed a specific enemy while an event is active, and also record how many of the drop they have picked up so far. How is that going to be stored? Is it going to be character based or account based? If it's going to only happen IF you haven't gotten one yet, then what's going to happen with multiple accounts (does it have to be stored as 'rare drop roll succeeded' rather than 'banner acquired' to get around that?)? If we try to store it in a players' account flags, will it break other things? I do like the idea in general, but I seriously question the feasibility of adding it in this case. If I was designing a new game, I would seriously consider how to do such a thing; however most games don't do this for a reason. The closest I've seen in a very very few handful of games is minute dynamic adjustment (i.e. if you are ahead or behind of expected rate of say, critical hits or drops or something, then it *slightly* increases/decreases your chances by like 1% until you hit the rate; but I've never seen one 'guarantee' a drop). But this isn't a new game, this is a really old game that we have to struggle to fit new things into as is. When Soly finishes working on Aselia maybe it'll be easier to add some stuff, but I'm still unsure if this would be something possible then, he would be able to answer with more technical expertise on how feasible it would be to do something like this.
  4. Well, that's kind of your own fault for not bringing anything then (and besides, you could literally run another entire RT in the time it would take to kill him with techs regularly). Olga checks to see if you have well-rounded gear. You didn't pass that check; thus you have been deemed unworthy. You can't kill a final boss with nothing; you aren't gauranteed a victory just because you reached a boss, you still have to earn it. It's no different for any other character. It's not even just a boss thing, when you encounter a required recobox on a wall and you forgot to bring a gun on a cast, you can't make it past that either. If you didn't prepare yourself for a fight, then how do you expect to earn victory in one?

  6. Ep4 (ep2 cca/tower) songs are difficult to do since you have to make a multistream ogg and even then it's difficult to make it fit properly. Well, you were supposed to leave the old songs in there and just overwrite the changed ones; i.e. backup ogg folder, then copy all the songs from the pack into the ogg folder. It sounds like you tried to completely replace the folder, meaning the tracks which I didn't do (which are basically only the multistream ones) wouldn't be in there at all if you didn't leave them there. The "For the Reunion - FF7 Advent Children" (i.e. from the movie) loop was done by me as one of the vote winners for lobby songs. You can find it on /lobbyevent 23 I believe if you want to listen to it anytime.
  7. no. by default exp is x3 up to level 160, and x2 afterwards. The x5 exp is a limited time event that comes on every few weeks.
  8. It should be all ids for drops, aside from the ones where multiple drops are listed from the same source obviously, then it's spread across all.
  9. I don't think it actually duped, I think you just had desync that caused it to display incorrectly. If you had either reloaded block or logged off with that char, then the mag would have fixed itself. I can see that char has a yellow kabanda 15 0 0 40 on it with farla and twins, just like you described. If I am mistaken, then come meet me in game please.

    I generally do something similar where i have one char hold a ton of weapons, and a few chars with stacks of pds in bank/common/inventory.

  14. The main s-rank you want is definitely a zalure one (gun/rifle or shot/slicer/j-cutter), no contest there. Your weapons are actually pretty decent. You should add hit to bringers with photon crystals (can add up to 50hit that way to enemy part weapons, average 50crystals to do so) and drop the justy (bringers is just better). The main thing that is missing would be seeking out a hell laser 50h from 2nd room of restless lion and some charge vulcans for when you play in a team with good buffs.

You can play it in game with /lobbyevent 19 (the lobbyevent command simulates varying lobbies for yourself, which have different songs set to them), and the ogg file is in your PSOBB/data/ogg/custom/ folder and is named Door_into_summer.ogg

  17. It's possible to self-cast resta on yourself only, and even then a fo should be carrying trimates regardless for emergency purposes. You can do something to drop targeting (such as being knocked to the ground, weapon recovery, or other such things) and then quickcast resta from the tech menu. If using gizonde trick on vol opt 1 it's not really a problem though, as the hu can zerk on the screens during the explosion cutscene to phase 2 to drop back down to df hp, or just use a quick braveman at the start of phase 2. I've not seen anyone ragequit from resta in quite some time, people like that not worth playing with. It can be a little annoying to be healed after you took the effort to setup for df, but you gotta just deal with it and start using other appropriate weapons if need be, whether it's zerk weapons or vjaya or mechs or whatever.

  19. Attribute %s affect the weaponATP. Therefore things like Charge Vulcan (38atp) will benefit far less than things like fury of the beast(700atp). Charge Yas is generally not worth it because the weaponATP is pretty low (100), its power comes from the range and the fact that it hits 3 times per attack, rather than from the atp of the weapon. Adding 100% would only add 100 more atp, which won't add that much more damage. On the other hand, adding 100% to an excalibur would add an extra 950 atp. I hope that explains it well.
  20. Actually Indi drop rates are better than they ever were before. People just have no idea what they are talking about and are latching onto a word without any understanding of what that word actually means. The bug that happened with individual drops was around for <1 month. It was fixed back to what it was before the bug happened. Then people kept complaining and we made the rate even better than it was before that month. @David S. Wilson How many red boxes dropped in that HoD has nothing to do with it. That's a fundamental misunderstanding of what dar even is. You don't calculate dar by looking at how many red boxes dropped. Dar is about how many monsters dropped anything at all, not just red boxes. It doesn't matter if that run got 3, 30, or 300 red boxes. It's about how many regular drops happened. This thread isn't about dar at all. As for other items not being seen enough, it's because people have overhyped sta too much and nobody is even thinking about hunting the other things. STA is only an armor, it's only defensive and it doesn't actually let you *do* that many things that you couldn't otherwise do. The best item to hunt in this event is Asteron Striker; it's far more useful and versatile than sta is. Even Hand of Justice is quite useful for hunters. I wasn't exaggerating when I said I've been seeing almost no asteron striker hunting rooms. It's almost criminal how much people are neglecting it. Everyone doing TTF when they could be hunting the ep2 or ep4 boss and getting other good things on the way to sta.
