I have an Xbox One controller hooked up through USB. Using Windows 10 Pro, 64bit. The controller is detected in windows 10 and all the buttons/sticks are responsive in the device properties. The problem is when I get into the game, the controller just doesn't work with one exception: prior to selecting my character and landing on the ship, I have limited functionality. When I am in the opening screen (just after launching) I can use the A button (button 1) to skip to login like normal. When I get to the login dialog itself, I have to use the keyboard again and the controller will not work to select different options. Then after I've put in my password/sn, I can again use the controller to make my character selection... proving that the joystick and d-pad works fine. BUT after I've selected my character and the square dialog box pops up in the right (that asks if I want to confirm my selection or change outfits etc) my controller cannot be used to make any selections here or to even select confirm. So I go back to keyboard. Then after loading and getting into the ship/lobby all controller functionality is gone. What's going on here and how do I fix this? Thanks.

Big thanks to Fyrewolf5 for guiding the way.

Hi there. Not sure if I am posting in the right forum and I donāt really see any other subforums that touch on this. But is there a good guide or something to explain how the team system works? I kinda have a general idea based on going through the in-game options as I have made a team for myself and the friends on mine irl that I typically play with. I was reading elsewhere that things could be bought with points accumulated by āsacrificingā rares, which I have done. However none of the values in team menu have changed so Iām just looking for something to elaborate on how it all works. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

Hoi! Magic Rock "Heart Key" is dropping for this event and I've seen plenty of people wanting to make items from it. Getting an Invisible Guard for Safety Heart is easy enough from BPD1 (rappy route - hard) but some folk seem to be struggling to get the Spirit Garment to make the Love Heart/Sweetheart. You can hunt it from several enemies but the drop rate isn't too great. For all you folk that have been spamming Sim 2.0 (EP 1 - multimode - ultima) THERE IS ANOTHER WAY!!! Sim 2.0 is only available on ultimate btw. Finishing the run gives you "secret tickets" (you also sometimes get them for finishing stages within the run. I usually end up with about 4 or 5 per run) but what do you do with them??? You go to EP1 - oneplayer mode - side quests and load this: Once the quest has loaded go to forest 1 and talk to the guy by the gate. Answer the top option when prompted and he'll unlock it for you: Ignore the wandering rappies for now and talk to the one sitting on the wreckage. Pick the top option again: Now talk to one of the other rappies. Pick the top option once again and you'll be given a random item from the list of rewards: If you want to get back to Pioneer 2 after this just talk to the rappy on the wreckage again and he'll reopen the gate. Here is a list of rewards that I managed to pull from the web. I've not been able to verify all of them but seems correct enough. Maybe a GM can confirm this at some point? All weapons are 0'd and all armour is min just like BPD. I just ran through 45 tickets in about an hour and got 2 Spirit Garments. This has been my first guide. Hope you find it useful. NOW GO GET LOVED UP

Hi everybody! I am making this guide to let everyone know how I used a friend's ID to get my STA! First off, only ever run POD on whitill, because fuck the other section IDS White supperiority! Yes this is exactly what it looks like, I hugged and kissed EVERY cactus on our POD runs! And LAST OF ALL pray your allegiance to your overlord RNGESUS and DW... by offering them a sacrifice every run. And thats how I got my STA.

This guide will show you how to get the Christmas Present that we usually get on Santa Rappy during Christmas (obviously). Pioneer Christmas has two different opportunities to obtain a Christmas Present per character. The first present is only available in ultimate difficulty, and requires 2 perfect runs of the quest to obtain. The second christmas present requires a bit of setup, but can be done on normal and is quickly repeatable once it's ready. First Present: Here is the steps, you can do it in like 30 minutes depending on how good you will be at not screwing up the puzzles : Epsiode 2 Ultimate difficulty multiplayer, run [event] Pioneer Christmas . You must be alone (because 3 NPC will follow you). Note: Bring an extra shop weapon along with you for the end. Go in the mountain with the 3 NPCs and complete the level 3 puzzles. No mistake allowed (aka : /lobby -> rerun if you fail). Go into the cavern, talk to the woman at the right side and give her the extra shop weapon (don't do armor or shield). Complete the quest (you should get 500 mesetas). Launch Pioneer Christmas in Ultimate once again. This time, you unlocked level 4 puzzles. So complete the level 4 puzzles without any mistake (your score must be 20/20) The rappy will give you a Christmas Present when you finish the last puzzle. Note : the Christmas Present can only be obtained once per character. Here are the puzzles (pictures are from univers-ps, made by Kra) : Concerning the puzzle completion : you must step on the switch in the right order before the timer ends. What interest us is the level 3 and level 4 puzzles. Useful link (if your french or know how to translate a page) : http://universps.online.fr/pso/bb/quetes/pioneer_christmas.php Note for new players : the N00b/Hp unit comes from Christmas Presents Second Present: At the end of Pioneer Christmas, you will be asked to wrap an item from your inventory. Wrap up a random extra weapon from the shop (buy this before you go to mountain, as pipes are disabled in the quest). When you drop this present, you will notice that it is no ordinary present. These presents come in different colors! The color present you receive is tied to your account. If you take this present to Gallon's Shop quest (Ep2 Shop), if you speak to a man looking out the window near the telepipe area, you can show him your special present. Doing so will unlock that color as an wrapping option in Gallon's Shop. This does not use up the present, so you can keep it around to give to other players and let them unlock more wrapping papers as well! There are 9 alternate wrapping papers to unlock in addition to the default White + Pink Ribbon. Since the presents are not used up when unlocking more wrapping options, it should be fairly simple to help other players unlock all possible options of presents. These colors only work with Weapons, they do not work with Shields or Armors. -Yellow + Blue Ribbon -Black + Yellow Ribbon -Light-blue + OrangeRibbon -Pink + Yellow-green Ribbon -Magenta -Blue -Yellow -Vermillion -Green Once you have all 9 alternate wrapping papers unlocked, you can easily get many more christmas presents. Simply wrap 9 cheap shop weapons with all the alternate colors (wrapping costs 10,000 meseta per item), give them to any character (can recreate a lvl 1 char repeatedly for this), then take the presents into Pioneer Christmas. If you donate all extra colors of presents to the children with the lady near the bottom of the ramp by the telepipes, you will receive another christmas present! TL;DR 1. Trade/borrow for all colors of presents with other people. 2. Unlock wrapping options by showing all colors to the man by telepipes in Gallon's Shop (ep2 shop) 3. Wrap 9 cheap shop weapons in all 9 alternate colors. 4. Give the presents to any character (recreate lvl 1 char repeatedly for more) 5. Turn in the presents in Pioneer Christmas to the lady by the telepipes for a Christmas Present! 6. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Credits: Misombre for creating the topic and writing the guide for the first present and for allowing me to edit in more to the guide to make it more complete. Fyrewolf for writing up the guide for the 2nd present and wrapping options, and for some screenshots. Univers-PS and PSO-world for hosting nice guides for the quest here and here. And everyone on Ultima for making this a great server to play on.

Here's a quick way to break out of ice. Many people seem to get frustrated or are unaware of this trick so I thought I would make a video demoing and explaining it. Let me know what you think! I have another fun video idea planned in the future -CM/Phenom/Yusuke/Sophie

Hello Ultima! This is a price check thread. Post items you want to know the price of, and I will do my best to give you a fair price range. Anyone else is free to participate and give their opinions on prices as well I considered making an updated price guide thread, but most people want to know the price of weapons with stats/hit and there's no one formula fits all for that. In addition, prices fluctuate all the time. Check below for the price checks I've done so far

So, perhaps it's my lack of forums surfing, but I have not been able to find a very solid price checking location for materials. Perhaps we can come together and do some checks/ balances on all the materials below and put a price together? I am seeing quite a bit of wavering in prices in the trading area of the forums and obviously there is a difference in prices, especially like Mind vs. Luck. Can we put a community price check on: Mind: Power: Luck: HP: Def: Evade:

(I hope there is not another topic already made of this if so, i'm sorry didn't read around D: )
