Last night it was very fun to play with newbies who didn't just want me to tank them through TTF. They were actually PLAYING the game, not just blazing through bosses for exp.

Okay, I'll give the melee FOmarl another shot. I know I ragged on her before, but I saw the light after playing with one during last night's stream, where she easily carried us all the way to the end of an Ultimate TTF. Now if only I can find a Rambly May and a hundred power mats...

I must be the kid of the PSO world because while all the grownups are talking about their PGFs and worrying about their photon drop finances, I'm enjoying my big boy Dragon Slayer while asking "Daddy what's that cool gattling gun-like shotgun?" I'll bet you miss these innocent times of wee.

Just for kicks I made a FOmarl... to melee with. I got less than ten levels in before I decided, yeah, no, not doing this. Maybe it'd have worked out if you didn't swing your saber like... like a little FOmarl.

When I first came here I severely underestimated how much free stuff I would get by playing with people and them going "Hey want some free stuff?" and then they give me free stuff. Now that's networking.

Lately I've been watching all these videos of lv 150+ players tearing through Ultimate with high-end doodas, and I'm just like, cool beans but what do you do when you're an 80 something with mediocre doodas? :/

In some ways, the path to Olga Flow is more exhausting and brutal than Olga Flow himself. Olga Flow still makes Dark Falz seem like a little bitch, though.

It's not the weapon attributes you need, but someone with all elemental TECHS. *coughfoscough* When Olga's in "Flowen mode" only a certain random tech can hurt him. However there are a few notable exceptions like Mille Marteaux's Divine Punishment attack, which is effectively a light attack like Grants.

Well, I couldn't find a Force to become my slave, so I was on my own and had to rely on weapons. Problem is the battle gives no indication that's the only way to hit him when he's in Flowen mode... I mean, yeah the ??? attribute should've been a tip-off, but I took that to mean NO attribute so all weapons would do equal damage. Boy did I have it backwards.

Up until now I've pretty much ignored a weaon's special attacks. Then I realized one I've been regularly using can instakill Morfos. I have seen the light, and my life will never be the same again...

Tips on crowd control for a RAmarl? Weapons, techniques, etc? Primarily I rely on Rabarta for when mobs get too crowded, but even at level 2 it's expensive. Was thinking of using a Partisan as a backup weapon. Any tips?

I'm only in my 30's so I can't find one naturally, and I certainly don't have the cash to buy one. I am however experimenting with mechguns and shotguns. A Spread Needle is a shotgun, right? I also bought a Partisan but it's a little trickier on a Ranger than a Hunter, since Rangers aren't built to go up close and personal.

What do you think is the best Ranger for solo play? I'm playing as a RAcast but the lack of techniques (mainly Resta) has me concerned.

Thank goodness I hoarded Scapedolls... twice! I didn't go into the first attempt with weapons of every enemy attribute...
