Rodrigo Chacon Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 hola a todos en el server, me gustaria escribir este mensaje en ingles pero no manejo al 100 ese idioma como para comenzar un topic, se que hay mucha gente que dona dinero a ultima, ya sea por armas o por añadir hit o por distintos motivos, esta vez los llamo a todos a que donen dinero para poder implementar una herramienta que sea anti ddos, y que este puto hacker deje de joder, y que podamos jugar todos en ultima sin miedo, me a pasado ya que empieso a cazar el pgf en RT y estoy ya matando al gryphon o a cualkera boss y de pronto me da un dc, y es qe a ese puto hacker le dio la gana de botar el server, demostremosle qe existe una comunidad solida y que haremos algo al respecto. todos los años aparece este gay sin vida, no podemos permitir qe venga a hacer lo que quiera con el server, los que entiendan de informatica averiguen que es lo que se puede hacer para frenar un ddos, que heramienta se puede comprar o nose, para qe este gay no aparesca mas y deje de joder, es solo una idea. Pienso que no vale la pena gastar dinero para detener este tipo de ataques. Así como se requiere dinero para detenerlo, se requiere para realizarlo, se que no es agradable estar desconectándose cada cierto tiempo porque alguien decidió atacar el servidor, pero como ya lo dijiste, no solo desde hace dos años esto a sido prácticamente desde siempre y en algún momento se llega a detener. I see that this is your first xmas here on Ultima, or on any PSO BB server overall. How I see this? You think the hacker will stop No this hacker aint no ordinary hacker and he will _NOT_ stop. This is happening on, at least, 2 servers every year around this time (during xmas event/december-january). SCHThack doesn't have ddos protection and that community has a must donate demand to pay for the server, you can't pay for items etc like over here. Which should indicate that ULTIMA could have more money since there's a bigger "urge" to donate over here. What Im trying to say is that both or at least this server should use their money on ddosprotected server host. I think more people will donate if the server is up and running 24/7 without any problems during the high times/events. Keeping that much donations going every month wouldn't be easy . I'm sure larva has already thought of all this hence its still happening . Not Alot we can do at this point but wait it out . Now that's a server fund I would donate to. I was thinking something along the lines of Dolphin emulator and/or using VPN to connect to other players.
