Please feel free to join PSO2. Back in 2012 it wasn't much, but joining today could prove to be quite the fun experience. Sophia is an awesome personality who also plays PSO2. You can join her for the fun. If you join a friendly team, I'm sure you'll have a good time. Gameplay is very good, and is even much like PSO1 in many ways. The story can be just as easily ignored as the anime was. On a final note, for a free video game, the content PSO2 is jam-packed with is nuts. This game's data base is freaking HUGE. I'm not even over exaggerating. Enjoy.

Some folks don't know what they've saying. No offense. Ephinea is bad compared to Ultima server aside from the rare missions you can randomly get. Ephinea is still a server with very good people in it. If you hate DF combo unlocked then Ephinea might be for you. The hate for DF combo unlocked is real over there. They swear everybody can even use DF's special effectively. That's probably one of the few vanilla things about it. But I wouldn't go calling it a vanilla server. Ephinea is actually not vanilla. Ephinea has PSO2 drop rate too, and that ain't vanilla at all is it. And what about those rare quests? Just playing on that server changes the way we were meant to experience the game drastically when (Hardcore) users abandon you during critical moments in quest just to save their progress and avoid everybody seeing their name on banner in a negative way, so you suddenly have to pull miracles a out of your ass with shitty gear by yourself. You wanna talk about vanilla, then go actually try Ephinea. You won't say that anymore. In Ephinea, if you try to use a moon to save a scapedoll it won't work. In the same way you would break out of ice by moving the joystick or controls, you can get up faster when knocked down by doing the same. Ephinea is nowhere close to vanilla, so throw that argument out the window. The admins of that server choose to cater wannabe elites instead of all players, so it is bad compared to Ultima. Please stop repeating what others say just because they have some form of reputation here. Some of you are just agreeing, because somebody else said it. No offense. Please feel free to check yourself, and use your common sense. Many of the people on each server have already beat this game including the new players that are now just joining. We ain't trying to use the same weapons on each character. The variety of gear makes this server fun. On a Ranger, instead of using Heaven Striker all the time, you can use Egg Blaster MK2 for fun, so that equips and gameplay with each character can be different and enjoyable. I mean, auto-aim all the time makes people sloppy anyways, so I like the variety of gear. Back in the day all the character's gear were so similar that you only had use for one character even when you had 12. Now you can switch up gear in ways you can enjoy each character differently. Baranz Launcher is so ugly and annoying to see my tiny character walking with, so I'm glad I have other alternatives. You'll never see me using Baranz Launcher unless the only other strong shot without special for human rangers gets combo locked. (Dark Meteor) Actually, I'll quit this server if DW gets combo locked, and I'll never play PSO again. So many people love the exclusive items on this server. Just last night a few of my teammates were all types of excited over a max stat Ultima Reaper one of them bought because it hits 8 targets. It's really fun for me to see people develop a new kind of love for this game like never before because of all the new and neat content. If you want PSO vanilla, then go play on the Dream Cast PSO server Sylverant. But please stop using Ephinea server as a reason to nerf items on Ultima. For a second I thought Larva was serious, and I almost cried. ;w; lol nosa If anything boost the difficulty of monsters, but don't nerf the good things we're already used to just cause some reputable elitist says it's a good idea. To nerf something that works nicely on this server doesn't make much sense. On the other hand, there are some things that need boosting or perhaps new weapons need to be released. Feel free to combo unlock Cannon Rogue though. Some might say no, but even they ain't thinking clearly about it. Whoever says no is probably coming from the standpoint where they already have all the gear they need. But being only 5 months into this server, I'm speaking for the low level human ranger. We shouldn't be able to see a low level force destroy a low level ranger in dps with even a 0'd Banana Cannon. But you won't see me suggest nerfing BC, because it works doesn't it? Some might consider max stat CR broken when combo unlocked, so then make it so that you have to put in effort, and obtain a rare item to combo unlock it. It's just crazy how much more effective a low lv force is compared to a low lv human ranger in relation to dps when they use 0'd BC & CR/other shot. The imbalance is real. Last I remember, ranger was suitable for mid-level players while forces were suitable for advanced level-players as they would have to know how to dodge because of their low hp/def, not the other way around. Now, even low level forces can kill everything with 0'd BC & some Heavenly/Arms before the monsters even get to touch them. I say cater to all players, not just the elitists. That's what makes this server better than others in some areas. From what I can tell, many decisions were carefully made for the benefit of all. When low level forces come into a room with a low level ranger things get quite mismatched at times. I think rangers should have an equally capable shot, and I don't wanna see anybody mention a 50hit Baranz Launcher, because what new player can get a hold of that easily? I can barely even find 1 photon crystal. I hope I made my point. Probably the only remotely inexpensive and effective shot with charge special in ultimate is Baranz Launcher, and that definitely requires hit. It is easier saving up 15-20pd and buying a 0'd BC as a low level force than getting a 50h Baranz Launcher as a low level ranger. I think its interesting how people wanna talk about minor issues and other servers, and even troll others, but ignore actual imbalances in the game. If there is a problem with CR being combo unlocked, then make it so that you have to put in effort, and obtain a specific rare item somehow to combo unlock it. You could even make a new quest shop under Ultima category in epi4 since there isn't a quest under that selection, but for the exchanging of items that would be required to combo unlock all the other weapons that are combo locked. Having to put in the extra effort would make even those inexpensive weapons worth some DTS further encouraging the DTS system as well. I really don't see how that would effect the server in a bad way. Please consider my idea. Also, I would like a new shield to be made. (Emewn Guard). An upgraded or reskin version of Union Guard with the same color changing and team logo displaying effects. (Emewn Guard), a shield with low def, low evp, high or low resist, but with the ability to use 3, 6 or 7 traps. A shield people can challenge themselves with in difficult areas, and rep their team like bossmen when they record or simply choose to express their manliness.

Let me find out folks are using my words to create silly me mes. The contents on your post are true nonetheless. There are a lot of pay to win users on this server, but there is nothing wrong with using DTS. I donated for the first time because Prophets of Motav is the only weapon I refuse to hunt, so I bought one for my 16th character. Some of the users on this server have lost so much on other servers that they don't mind receiving gifts nor mind getting back what they've once lost via DTS if possible. However, some things can't be achieved without DTS on this server. Whether you trade or buy DTS doesn't matter. The fact DTS is required for a lot of things still holds true. I say not to discourage users from donating because you never know how much effort they put into this game on other servers, losing it all, and how they just might want all their shit back real quick on this server. That being said, if anybody wanna enjoy this game from scratch without help, then do solo mode or join a room of new players. It's usually fun running as a low level with 3 other users equally. For many years while playing GC offline, that is what I wanted to try the most. Running with users online. I don't see why anybody would wanna play PSO alone at this point, but it is what it is. Why can't people answer the question without feeling the need to mock the guy? The manliness is not with you. Answer: If you want to experience the offline side of PSO while on this server, then play solo (One Player) mode. You can select that option upon creating a room. (Play Mode). That being said. PSO never really was considered one of those (easy) games. With the numerous exclusive weapons and changes this server has seen, the difficulty of the server needed to be boosted to an extent in order to balance the game. Especially considering how old this game is. Nearly everybody here has some form of experience with this game. So it would seem that most folks are in favor of the extra challenges. I doubt it could have been avoided. A GM told me one time that in episode 1 only monster HP has changed. Either way, welcome to Ultima. Have fun wit it, and may the manliness be with you. If you need a weapon with a specific special, then feel free to do the episode 4 solo quest "The Restless Lion" in Ultimate difficulty.

It's not weird at all to say that RAmar/RAmar's lack strong AOE long range weapons. Try naming an end-game shotgun that does high damage per second without a special. But keep in mind in what ways Ultima's difficulty was boosted already. We can't pretend things should be exactly as they were on original Blue Burst server days as far as item availability goes. I knew somebody would mention Baranz Launcher, but I have never liked nor used Baranz Launcher, because not only is it too bulky for my small characters, but charge special on a shotgun is not something I like to use all the time in ultimate difficulty, and I shouldn't HAVE to rely on meseta nor rely on GMs for meseta just to deal high damage to mobs as a fleshy ranger. Combo unlocking CANNON ROUGE wouldn't be silly at all. Especially if PGF is kept as an event item. Fact of the matter is that on this server, the drop availability of probably the only end-game shotgun for freshly rangers was taken away. That in itself probably caused DTS usage to skyrocket, so I can see why folks would want PGF to remain as an event item. When DTS becomes the only other way to obtain a PGF, of course people will have to get donation tickets. I'm not saying anything bad about the donation ticket system, because the existence of DTS seems to be the best possible solution to some problems relating to hackers for various reasons. I am in favor of DTS being a thing. That's beside the point. However, at this point in time, whether or not PGF becomes an all year drop again won't hurt the server one bit. The drop rate for PGF has always been very low anyways. Sure Ultima users have become lazy, including myself to the point I trade for most of the goodies I obtain, but PGF dropping year round could turn out to give users a new drive. Motivation perhaps. Either way, I've been having a more fun time on Ultima server than any other. And I started playing around April 1st. As for Abuelita/Battle becoming Centurion/Battle units at some point for fun. Yeah, I was just kidding, but I was also throwing it out there because it wasn't necessarily unrealistic. If it gets done, the manliness is with that guy. Cause there are a lot of people who didn't get a single centurion/battle during the summer event. I found mine at the very end of it, and the event was clearly extended. So whoever just so happened to save their Abuelita/Battle, if they have centurion/battle already, they probably wouldn't mind getting rid of the extra centurion/battle to another user in need for cheapy. People naturally like to get the most out of what they worked hard for. But if they just get lucky with extras, who knows who they might bless with some goodies. I seriously second this post. I'm no mag breeder like JADE, so I don't care about Liberta Kit, but that could fall under 1 ID leaving 7 IDs free to have other items assigned to. I'd like to gain SOMETHING from completing the quest "Respective Tomorrow" besides a freaking Green Ring. I've never actually collected the Green Ring, because of how pointless it was to me. Please give us something decent to look forward to upon quest completion like what was done for the quest ROCT. Perhaps decent drops for Olga Flow. Or better yet, make PGF drop again. What's wrong with people? Lol. If DF&DM are supposedly that broken, then boost the server difficulty again. I really don't mind. Besides, fleshly rangers need a good freaking shot. I cannot believe that they do not. As much as I enjoy my time on this server, it's nuts that the availability of PGF was taken away from human rangers. Arrest Needle's range just doesn't cut it guys. But if you don't wanna do all that, then feel free to unlock combo for Cannon Rouge. RAmar and RAmarl needs some love. Also, I think it would be super cool if somebody capable of doing so transformed all the Abuelita/Battle units on the server into Centurion/Battle units for those who actually kept the troll item, because most people probably threw them away. Huney is effective as support and melee user whenever buffs are needed which is often. However, HUnewearls can be even more effective in other areas such as CCA and quests like LHB, ROCT with v502 unit and the proper gear. Such as Hell Gun or Jizai w/hit. Sil Dragon Slayer w/hit for freezing enemies in episode 4. Bloody Tornado w/ hit. All of these weapons are fairly easy to obtain. The demon special on those daggers can be effective due to the amount of hits per second you can get in. Feel free to try it against Epsilon. If you don't need an Adept, I recommend saving 16pd and a ppp mag, contacting Jade, and asking her to raise a mag with 123 dex. This way you'll be able to max ATA without an accuracy unit, leaving a unit slot open for a V502 unit down the road without sacrificing V801 unit slot for proper melee/support. As for melee, HUnewearl is very capable. The balance of offense and defense makes them quite useful in many situations. A good machine gun always help.
