It hurts me to see someone who is so dedicated be forced to leave because nobody could take a few hours to fix his account, he has been with us for a long time and psobb is one of the few games we share in common, so all this has done is put a cement wall up around one of our friends, the level of inaction almost seems deliberate at this point and i am considering leaving before my account has issues for 8 months+. because i would have far less patience with an issue like that. I really wish someone in the ultima staff could reach out and do what should've been done 8 months ago, but it may be too late for that.

i like the idea of team restoration due to the fact that we have teammembers who havent logged in in quite some time who would be hard to contact to put back on a team. But at the same time starting fresh would clean up the team lists somewhat for the same reason.

I'm actually in favor of Chuk's idea. Just mitigate the damage best you can. If a kid throws a ball through a window, it's better for the kid to work it off, rather than be grounded in his room for a month. It is easy to just quit and leave, it takes a stronger person to fix their mistakes. You have lost my trust, but you could potentially earn back others. To earn my trust I would naturally expect you to turn in "Tower", since it is clear to me you had contact with him/her somehow to coordinate the vent appearance.

That's not an apology, that's an attempt to avoid the clear connection between you and tower, why would you try so hard to be malicious, why engage in heavy terrorism? Do you really expect me to believe that you only made a fake image, you think everyone in vent didn't notice you Tower and Broomop log in at the same time? Do you think that we don't have other information were not sharing? You blew all your trust when you sided with tower in his fear game, there is a possibility that you weren't "directly" involved with the "hacking", but what you did is just as damaging, if not more-so. Because right now as it stands, Broomop has done less damage then you have.

i assume the last day of the event hasnt started yet, out of 4 hours of rappy hunting i got 3 eggs. thats almost a 1/100 rate of getting a egg rappy, then theres the 50/50 of not getting anything but a dimate.

I have to concur on the material hunting and egg hunting, The first week of the event I was leveling my character and gathering materials and hunting for marinas bag (which i got Yay!). Luckily I didn't have much to farm on materials for my force considering the rare monsters got nerfed most of the event. I only saw two weekends with rare monsters, I still wasn't able to get the mats for my racast. Also mass, did you ever consider that maybe some people who had a hard time hunting harder to get items like sues and godrics would've liked a way to gather mats and eggs to sell to get them? No you didnt, because you got what you wanted like me, or already had what you needed. Only thing i needed from this event was post marinas bag and some mats. also to correct one of mass' lines "So just think about it and you will see where providing no rares will benefit more for MYSELF. Now do I apologize for having to raise my temper a bit here since I do not usually do this sort of thing but it's posts like mine that really piss NerdmastaX off, because you are not thinking for what is more beneficial for ME instead you are thinking about EVERYONE ELSE'S gain."

but we already have the Ventrilo... but seriously, mumble has stability problems from feature cram. Ventrilo has been the same reliable software/interface for years and years. its your forum they are gonna ask for tech support on and i will be of no help to them when they cant get mumble working. we hate mumble so much, Ventrilo is paid for just so we dont have to use mumble, that should've been the dead ringer right there. It has promise as a voice chat software, but without mass migration of the biggest voice chat community in this game i think your gonna have an empty server, aside from pro members logging in to see if anyone else is using it. how come you didnt ask us first? we said on many occasions that all teams are welcome, I didn't become a pro member until a month after being on Ventrilo. our voice community is active and friendly and welcomes all(just pm squish about joining). Except TJ, which btw good luck getting rid of tj. you'll know who he is when he shows up. And from what I understand all this was mentioned and ignored, so do what you will, i'm sticking with vent.

first of all kajex awesome points you made, i will be keeping a private note of that for reference. and lee you know better than any of us what the difficulty levels are and have been since psopc(2001) so i would value your input on this more than most people. also aiden, yes its my "first" character, its also the same class i have been playing since 2001, aside from hp, the fonewearl was my favorite choice due to its high magic ability and alot of it had to do with the real life friends i played with at the time. yes i know its purpose is support, but a high enough lvl fo COULD carry the team EASIER (it can still be done somewhat, just much harder, and impossible at certain bosses,so after thinking about it it probably is resistances like kajex said). Perhaps we should approach this topic more after the event happens to see if these feelings still exist. Because without rare mobs and heavy exp, people get testy around here.

well Kajex I'm not as deep into the games mechanics as some people are, but yes the resistances seem off, but with the damage cancel and such it seems like the odds are stacked against fo's. I noticed you only mentioned one boss that a fo can handle, and with the qualifier "typically faster"(than one class, I assume there are faster classes than ramarl). back in the day a group of 4 lvl 90 fo's could ttf ultimate, and yes it could still be done with super awesome expensive rare equipment, but it used to be manageable without it. If its just fixing resistances then I dunno why it hasn't been done yet, unless this is new news to the server.

mass that stuff in your spoiler is why i don't like being a force on this server, just a fantastic example of how bad a fo is left out.

I gotta agree with Kom here, as a FOnewearl I feel very left out. Seems like every other day theres another hucast with a pgf shouting DONT HEAL ME PLZ!!! I was playing RT on ultimate the other day and noticing close to 5k dps from other players on the dragon, so I throw a foie with twinkle star, what do I get? 300 dps, and a drain on tp, and that slow cast time is with a v101 and v801, two "good" items that don't do that good. As for hylian shield and pwand, I've never gotten one, and will NEVER have enough pd's to get one. I can't get through the first rooms solo on ultimae without getting one shot. Yet somehow a level 20 hucast can out dps me almost 10-1. How am i supposed to farm for pds if i cant play ultimate solo? Do I have to start a character I care nothing about? Or am i just expected to throw hundreds of dollars into the game like armando and colorodo? Because neither is an option for me. half the time kajex where is everyone? The lobby. If nobodys in a lobby they are in a locked room. Where are the fo's 90% of the time? The lobby. Is it because the lobby is cool? No. It's because forces are useless unless an RT comes along, or someone needs an id. As a force I would like to be able to play the game one day on ultimate. Especially considering that a long time ago before things were screwed up I could. Forces were intended to be strong high dps characters that can take care of their team, not just a s/d j/z resta/anti/reverser machine, forces have 11 techs that are useless, completely useless. If your goal is to alienate every force on the server then you are doing a fantastic job... But the community here is strong, you could have a great server, if you just allow it to be great. But no...... ignore everything and all the hard time everyone put into telling you why ultimas broken, just throw some more 100+ pd items in that mess up the balance further, better yet just disable the forces 11 other techs at lvl 90 (oh wait you already did)

I appreciate the comment foiexx but the credit goes to whoopin for the art, and David Link for the decal work. I just paid david and said make it happen. They do look awesome though, boog should get his tomorrow or tuesday. Alpine should get his by friday, and whoopin i have no idea how long japan post takes, but itll be going very secure (cardboard lined letter) since its gonna go on a plane or boat.
