  1. I strongly recommend this. If you're using the 1-0 hotkeys, you should have room to set every possible move to a key without even needing to use the ctrl menu (as an android). If you're playing with Play Mode "Normal" (ie multiplayer) then all of the enemies you face are going to be scaled up because it's designed for multiple players. Selecting Play Mode "One Person" will be just like the offline version of the console games, and its difficulty will be scaled to one player (I BELIEVE - someone please confirm!). You can play solo if you want, but if you play with others, many people on the server are happy to give away better equipment to help you get started. I was a long time solo player before playing online, and now I can't imagine playing any other way.
  2. @Larva B>Event drop table But really, I am finding there are some problems with not having one (and these are problems I've encountered in other events as well): So far, I'm having no luck forming a party to hunt Centurion/Resist. If people know the drop rates, they can make a better assessment of whether it's worth their time. Otherwise, they'll just stick primarily to the big name drops. We don't know if anything else drops X aside from what's been confirmed, but there's no reason to try anything that hasn't been confirmed because in all likelihood it will just be a colossal waste of time. The only argument I could see against drop tables is that people will stick to the most efficient way to hunt drops, to which I ask: is that a bad thing? That's what people do for all other drops. What case could you make for hunting Red Ring on Skyly or Redria when your odds are 5x times better on Whitill? I think a fair compromise would be to withhold it for the first week so people can discover the drops, but after that reveal the table so we can make better use of our time.
  3. I can sell you a bundle of Heavenly/Power pretty cheap. Let me know how many you need. Interested in any of these Viviennes? [0/0/0/30|40] [0/0/0/0|45] [0/0/0/35|35] [45/0/35/0|35] [35/0/0/0|35] [0/0/0/0|40]
  4. If Falz weren't dropping Master Sword, wouldn't you be getting a bunch of Rico's Earrings?
  5. Legitimate item idea: a unit that reduces Resta's heal radius by like 95%, or just limits it to you if possible. "Heal Suppressor" or something like that. This would be very helpful for Forces who want to heal themselves but not mess up FLOWers.
  6. I'll be on in a minute as Balter the RAmar.
  7. I may take you up on that offer for the 40h But I'll take the other two FS at 2 PD each, and I'll take the Dual Birds and Final Impact. So, 7pd?
  8. I noticed that the Frozen Shooters also appear in the 1PD section... does that mean I can get them for 1PD?
  9. Since Red Ring boosts ATA above max, shouldn't I aim to be maxing ATA without RR and consider RR a bonus?
  10. Welcome! The game is pretty easy to learn, but difficult to master. Even after ~15 years playing (off and on) I'm still learning new tricks. As I'm sure you know, if you ever have any questions, the community is always happy to help. Shoot me a message if you ever need anything! And don't fall for the ALT+Backspace trick
  11. I can't tell anywhere whether you've played before, so I'm going to assume you haven't. Ways to get stronger without outside help: Stats - Things you can grind towards Find better gear (drops/shop) Level up Feed your mah Skill - Things that just take time and playing experience Learn the enemies Know what they're capable of, and how to dodge their attacks or abuse the AI Know how to position yourself against every enemy. This also falls into my next point... Learn your own weapon attack patterns This applies to learning the attack pattern for each type of weapon, and knowing when to use normal and strong attacks. With the right timing, many enemies can be stun locked - especially on the earlier difficulties. I can't emphasize what a difference this makes. Bear in mind, Hunters are - in my opinion - the hardest class to play. You need to be experienced in all the skills I outlined. Any mistake means you'll probably take a hit whereas, say, a Ranger will still have space to run.
  12. Leveling a new character on your own sucks enough as it is. Doing it with basic gear is even worse. I'd be happy to help you too. Whether that means playing a low level character with basic gear alongside you, playing a high level character, or just offering you some decent (non-game-breaking) gear, it's all good with me! Just say the word
  13. I've always lived by the community rule "Don't Jellen Gryphon," but I've always wondered... why? Supposedly it makes it stronger? Someone in my last party used Jellen on Gryphon and I found its trample did much less damage. Is it more dangerous to higher level played who don't get knocked down and end up getting comboed to death like the tornadoes do?
