The thing is, it still is a good idea to change blocks after transfers 99% of the time. This sort of thing happens when after you have transferred, the login server goes down. Thus it saved that you transferred the items off of char 1, but then it doesn't save that they are on char 2 when you d/c them, and they dissappear. The login has to go down between your transfer in a specific way for this to occur. It's like that one time when one of the gm's was cycling between lobby decorations quickly, and one person saw a hallo rappy spawn in the < 3 seconds the halloween lobby was up (though they didn't get anything). I've seen 10x as many ??? bugs happen from desync as I have server eating items from login going down. While it's technically possible that it happens, it's just a very unfortunate and unlikely occurrence. Seriously though, hope you get fixed up quick, it really sucks when it does happen.

Ouch, sounds like the login server went down between just between your transfer, and thus nothing was saved during that time. Hope you get fixed up soon.

It is good to do between every couple regular games too. Desync seems to be a factor in a few different bugs. For example, 2-3 times I have seen someone be in a room for long periods of time (1hour+), go to equip mag and they get could not find item to equip d/c, relog, and have the ??? bug, and many more times I have been/seen people in a room for long periods then try to transfer/evolve a mag and quickly drop it, and the mag reverts a feeding that just somehow didn't get saved because of the desync. I've also seen desync cause just evolved rare ep2 formula mag to drop in a blue box instead of a red one. Desync can do some weird things xD.

Since you've had this problem more than once and at least one seems partly due to desync, you should periodically leave your mag feed room to change blocks in lobby and resync yourself to the server. It's a good idea to do that before/after each evolutions, and just periodically while playing regularly too to help prevent other bugs too. Hope you have better luck next time.

The tp steal special only affects the Special Attack. Normal and Heavy attacks do not apply a weapon's special to them. This is how it works for all weapon specials in the game, you are simply misremembering. One of my favorite weapons for stealing tp is Mahu, which are geist cards (1>1>3 combo, 3rd hit can hit same enemy 3 times for uber tp steal), you can get a 30hit one from ep 2 government quest on ultimate as force, I think it's the final spaceship one or maybe final cca one. There are also many players with extra meseta they could give out to feed your fluid addictions.

...but my bacon doesn't just have hit, it has negative hit! oh well.

How are slicers considered hunter weapons? All classes can use them xD.

well I've seen them go for 10 with rare monsters on (like right now), and 20-30 without rare monsters. There is a price guide out there to give you a general idea of what things are worth: http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/topic/10584-ultimas-official-price-guide/ . Things can vary from the guide somewhat and fluctuate up and down, but at least it's useful to get an estimate. If you feel like saving some pds I'm sure there's a bluefull around that could help you farm one fairly easy right now.

Today this happened to me as well. I made a game to hunt soul booster, and before I could start the quest, my other char warped again...... to a room filled with 4 'shura' chars. I took a couple screenshots before I got error 100 and d/ced. My GC# 42102085 shura GC# 42092610 It was very weird, the total exp, to next level, and meseta amounts matched his exactly, and the guild card showed his name and char, but with my guild card number. Shortly after taking these pics I d/ced and everything loaded up normally afterwards. Have no clue about the other 3 shura in the room. This was just after 11 AM EST. GC# comparison

Which item in particular are you trying to create? I've heard that happen with God's Shield Kouryu , the player had to switch the order of two of the shields for it to work right , so I assumed that was translation error.

Every outfit has a specific color mag it comes with (even costumes 8+9 are set in bb, not random). I've probably recreated one of my char slots 20 times for different color baby mags.

Melee Fonewearl will be very difficult. If you are serious about about going atp melee instead of demon's melee, try to get yourself a Soul Booster (redria gibbles, 2 unknown ids) or Blood Sword(pinkal saint milion) during this event if you can.

Somebody called for me to shamelessly repost the set of links I post for new players kekeke? Lots of people powerlevel on this server with the help of others, it's fairly easy to get to those high levels. Right now should be very easy to get some easy levels, currently x5 exp is on. By default, experience is x3 until level 160, and then x2 to 200, but sometimes there are x5 exp events for all players. These generally last anytime from one weekend to two weeks. There are 3 main quests which are often used specifically for leveling characters. TTF (Towards the Future) is an episode 1 boss rush quest, used to level people through the lower difficulties (normal and hard, sometimes very hard). One specific monster opens each of the doors so it is very rushable. A Min kills and Max kills run can win you a black ring and purple ring on very hard or ultimate. Located under VR in ep 1. RT (Respective Tommorow) is an episode 2 boss rush quest, used to level people on the higher difficulties (very hard and ultimate). The first three episode 2 bosses give extra exp on this server especially gryphon, but there are no door monsters so this quest is not as rushable. Olga Flow does not have buffed experience and is usually not killed, most people just reset after gryphon. Also located under VR, in ep 2. It is also possible to simply do Gryphon runs; once a character has activated the switches in Central Control Area, the door to cca will open in every game they make and can reach the boss warp fairly quickly. PTS (Path to Salvation) is an edit of lost havoc vulcan with tons of monsters in the ruins. There is a secret room which spawns massive waves of enemies repeatedly. This is considered to be the fastest way to level if you can handle it. The secret room is behind the waterfall, you can squeeze your way around the laser fence to get in, though there are a few megid traps around the warp there. Located under Ultima category in ep 1. There are also 2 specific quests with prizes (http://www.phantasys...quest_drops.php) that may be useful for gearing. Black Paper Deal 1 and 2 are single player ep 4 quests where you trade 1 photon crystal (ep 4 normal and hard rare monsters) to participate in monster battle arena to win blank rares (all 0%s) based on difficulty and route. Photon Crystals can also add hit to weapons made from enemy parts, such as baranz launcher and bringers rifle, approximately 50 pcs for 50 hit. The Restless Lion is another single player ep 4 quest where you fight other hunters and take their weapons, which always spawn with 2 50%s and 0, 30, or 50 hit, i.e. the ramarl in second room might drop hell laser 50 0 0 50 50 for you on ultimate difficulty. Or arrest laser 50 50 0 0 30. Or tempest laser 0 50 50 0 0. As these quests are in One Player mode, the monsters are weaker than in the normal Multiplayer mode. Other notable quests are Point of Disaster (PoD, ep 4 ultima, ep 4 boss rush), Wrath of Forest(WoF, ep 1 ultima, lots of forest mobs), Forest Offensive(ep 1 ultima, lots of hildetorrs followed by dragon and a simulator with lots of chaos bringers to win solferino/tp material), Realms of War (Ep 4 VR, tons of mobs, costs meseta to play), Raid on Central Tower (ROCT, ep 2 ultima, very very difficult high end quest for experienced players, can win some high hit weapons as prizes), and some other interesting ones around too. While there are a few one player quests around, don't hesitate to join up with others, playing with people is much more fun and this community can be really nice and helpful. Currently the Summer Event is on. This is one of the major events that has limited time drops, including Centurion/Battle (110% attack speed, confirmed skyly epsilon whitill dark falz oran kondrieu), Psycho Black Crystal (use on master raven to make Psycho Ravens, extremely high atp mechguns for male hu/ra, confirmed redria/bluefull morfos), Trap/Search(unit which gives permenant trap vision, confirmed viridia/greenil baranz, easy drop), Soul Booster(use on excalibur for 100 souls, a spirit excal for all classes, confirmed redria gibbles 2 ids unknown still), and Blood Sword(spirit saber, confirmed pinkal saint milion, basically been replaced by 100 souls but still looks cool as a glowing red skinned flamberge), as well as the weak joke weapon Zanbeacon(Bacon Sword) in vhard/ultimate forest and caves on some ids. The next upcoming major events are Triforce Event, Halloween Event, Anniversary Event, and Christmas Event. There is always something going on around here xD. There are also the mini events. These are often spur of the moment, and come in various forms, trivia, word searches, bring some amount of specific items for a reward, etc. These you'll just have to keep an eye out for in game and forums. Some last for a few days (item collection/special adding), some a few hours, some only a few minutes (trivia). Severus Yasminkov adding event is especially popular, as Yasminkov 9000 is one of the best ra weapons with specials. There are also many other smaller things that happen. First off there is x5 exp events, can happen without major events. Also there is Rare Monster events (x5 rare monster appearence). Rare monsters is usually signified by everyone having a colored name in the lobby (though current green names just mean the summer event is on), and can also occur without major events. Happy Hour is x3 drops for 3 hours, signified by pink trees and red&white flag in lobby, along with a banner every 30 minutes stating time remaining.
