We have decided to forbid the use of certain addons that give very questionable powers to the players. Reading quest register values: being able to access information that is normally not accessible from the game easily gives an abusable exploit to the game, such as the ability to predict what randomized reward will drop in some quests. Rare monster reading: being able to predict which enemies are going to be a rare one from the start gives an unfair advantage to farmers. Player inventory scanning: privacy violation. The use of these addons will result in action against your account, up to a permanent ban. These rules can be found in the guidelines.

Yes this was april foolz. Rates are the same as before. The section IDs part is real though and Kondrieu drop rate is still easier than Shambertin's (so benefits from Green name). No. Soly's monsters reader only allows you to see the monsters that already spawned in your area, which is fine. I guess an exploit example will help better understanding what such rare monsters reader is about. 1) I want to farm Limiters and know it is 1/2 from Kondrieu on Redria (so guaranteed during HH) 2) I make a room and start Point of Disaster on Ultimate 3) Before I even put step on Ragol, my rare monster reader tells me which boss I am going to encounter at the end of the run a) If "Shambertin": type /lobby and repeat from step 2 b) If "Kondrieu": play the quest until the boss and get a guaranteed run Limiter

Lossless Scaling basically allows to scale games resolution to gain FPS and maintaining a decent graphics quality, but pso is and ancient game so theres not need for more FPS since pso its capped at 30 FPS, and there's no way to run natively at 60 FPS without breaking the game animations. it also offer a very capable Frame generation settings (but still needs work), which insert AI generated frames between your current frame rate, meaning that PSO will run at 60 FPS, but there's some tearing in textures and in-game Hud and readers box/text. [EDIT] have to take down the attached file, send me a PM or i can upload the file on the discord server. Requirements: - Hardware to run the game at its max FPS (which isn't a lot for psobb) - Set the game to windows mode and max resolution to run it without scaling setting. Configuration: Scaling Type: OFF Frame Generation: LSFG Vertical Sync: ON Draw FPS: ON (FPS Monitor) Windowed Mode: ON For consideration: - It can be opened before or after the game is running and wont affect its functionality. - to turn it on, the game must be the active window, then Ctrl + Alt + S (key) - sometimes the game screen freezes if you alt + tab, the solution its to alt + tab and let tab key go, and close with the X button the lossless scaling window, reopen the app, and set on with the shortcut. - I set windows User Account Control Settings on Never notify which isnt recomended, cuz every time i need to restart the lossless scaling APP the windows notification crash Psobb. Yes, it should be totally fine. You'd have to modify Soly's add-on or download another to be breaking the new rules. Personally, I've seen the third item (the one where you can see other players' inventory) used more often than the other two, and it was normally used as a ''noob checker'' to either avoid playing with some players due to suboptimal gear or down right make fun and ridicule said players. Good riddance.

Allo! and if you ask if I said hello, I'm going to quote Labyrinth and say, "No, I said 'allo' but that's close enough" in a British accent... 😃 lol I'm currently cutting music from FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH that's right - the 2nd game in the Remake Trilogy. Let met just give you a snippit of this process. When I first learned how to cut music from the game, @Fyrewolf5 told me that it's best to use music that repeats - that's the easiest - doesn't matter what the track sounds like, if it repeats, it's super easy to cut into the game. That has served me well for all the music packs I have made thus far..... However, a new question has popped up during this process...... what happens if the music is just beyond anything you can imagine for beauty, awesomeness, and sooooo damn cool BUT it doesn't repeat....... like AT ALL...... what do you do then?? I've thought a lot about that as I've been cutting music... do i just fade out and back in and just play whole tracks over again with a teeny pause in the music....... I tried that.... HATED IT.... For those of you who have enjoyed my music packs over the years... I can't believe that it's 2024 already, and almost 1/3 over... gad - May 1 is next Wednesday..... crazy And I made my first Music Pack in 2022... so, for the last two years that you've been enjoying my music, would you say that the reason it sounds so good is because 1: I use high quality music to start the process of cutting into the game, and 2: I always, and I mean ALWAYS make my cuts sound seamless, perfect, so when you're in game, the music just goes on and on and on and on and on and you never can tell where the music repeats because the cuts are basically invisible? Wouldn't you say that's why you guys love my music packs? Well, what do you do when the music is beyond amazing, you want it in the game in this very specific spot BUT CRIPES, IT DOESN'T REPEAT!!!!! What do you do when you want to deliver that super high quality that people expect from you??? That's the question I've been dealing with during this process... Let me just say this.... It's going to take me a couple maybe 3-4 days to finish this pack - could be longer. But, I promise you this: This music pack is going to be so fricken amazing with music from VII REBIRTH, it's going to have wonderful seamless cuts, and it's going to sound so good, you won't be able to tell where I put my cuts in - even in music that doesn't repeat.... I solemnly swear that to you now. I'll post the pack once it's finished, and @MBogdanovic94 I know how much you love Final Fantasy VII... I think you're going to love this new music pack with music from Rebirth. Also, for everyone else..... What would you guys think - once the Remake Trilogy is complete, and I have the soundtrack from the 3rd game in the remake project - What would you think if I made a Music Pack using music from all three games, and kind of a "The Best of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trilogy?" Thanks for checking out the quest! The short of it is that I'm lazy. The long of it is that this was supposed to be a temporary thing. At the time development on the regular shop was being done to make all items always available. However it was running into some difficulty so I made this quest in order to appease the mag farming community while the shop was getting all worked out. This community mostly created rooms to afk in, and so I didn't see the point in building out Regal (quests don't come preloaded with enemies \ objects, they all have to be added by the developer). Now comes in the lazy part; I always meant to go back and redo Lemon's Shop. Mainly I wanted to do something with the girl in the telepipe zone where you could give her a lvl 0 mag for a prize. However this ended up being more work and I anticipated, and my love for pso kinda died out before I ever figured that out. If you are interested in doing this work yourself, you can PM me and I'll send you the quest file to edit.

So basically, if we've been using your addons as (I assume) most people have been using them, Soly, we should be fine, I suppose, since I was completely unaware of the fact that you could do such things. Asking just to be safe.

Hello my friends!!! It's finished!! I got the FFVII Rebirth Album just a few days ago, listened to it, fell in love with it - and made this music pack with that music. I love making music packs for all of us to enjoy, I really do! As I stated in my previous post where I gave you a snippet of my creative process, I was faced with a rather difficult conundrum this time around as the vast majority of the music I used in this music pack DID NOT repeat... like at all..... what do you do when the music doesn't repeat thus making your job a LOT more difficult? Well, it came down to a lot of trial and error and testing on the title screen .... I will admit - there are 2 tracks that I couldn't loop like normal so I kept the beat, counted it out correctly and just looped it with similar elements. For Weapon's Cry it worked out just grand, for the Materia Guardian music on Gol Dragon - the cut is a little bit.... ummm the first time you hear it, it may be a bit jarring, but that track for Gol Dragon is nearly 8 mins of music - and while it may sound jarring when the cut happens, it's actually really cool... it's battle music right, and the beat stays pretty constant throughout the whole track, all I did was mess with the chord progression just a bit - but once you hear it a 2nd time, it won't sound bad - it'll sound really cool. There are just not enough good things I can say about the music of FFVII-Rebirth - it's just INCREDIBLE!!! It truly is the evolution of CLASSICAL MUSIC at it's FINEST!!! Classical music is very structured, and when it's done correctly, it tells stories as you play it. As I was listening to the album for the first time, I was hearing the stories that the music was conveying, and because of that, I crafted a most beautiful story with the music and put it into PSO. Let me elaborate, yeah? One thing I noticed with this album, is that Sephiroth's taint just runs through almost every single piece of music - which makes for some really cool combinations - like Aerith's Theme and Sephiroth's Theme combined into one. The game opens with Hero music, but this is Hero Sephiroth music and while it sounds grand and works really well for the title screen, it just has that bit of One-Winged Angel in it in places, all while being heroic and majestic is Sephiroth's twisted way - but the story - anyway - in the ruins, a place of monsters, aliens, and just overwhelming evil, the music reflects that - and just expels gobs and gobs of soul-crushing darkness and then in the midst of all that darkness, it goes into heroic battle music like it's telling you, "You're the warriors of light - you're going to send all these monsters straight to hell." It's just soooooo good. I have to be honest - as I was nearing the end of the creation process, I was stuck on what to put for the Principal's Office area on Pioneer 2.... please don't freak out - but I put a beautifully haunting piece written in Phrygian that does this QnA bit between flutes and oboes over and over again - almost like an argument in parliament, or congress, or a senate - back and forth across the aisle, back and forth - but because it's written in Phrygian, it just has this off-kilter quality to it, almost like it's asking the question - "can you really trust anything the government does?" I know, I know - that like asking "meaning of life" stuff - but I just thought that was too juicy not to put in the Principal's Office. I honestly cannot believe how amazing and beautiful and gorgeous and fucking cool this music is! As something new for this music project for PSO - I recorded a video showcasing 98% of the music pack - only because there are 4 tracks I can't show off because of randomness or needing 2 people to do it - but everything except battle mode and the two special encounters I show off in this video - and yes, this is the first time I've cut music for Battle Mode - there were just so so so very many tracks that were beyond incredible that I wanted to include in this music pack. So, for your viewing pleasure, here's the music pack demonstration! A couple changes have been applied so that players can acquire meseta more easily by their own means. STARTING MESETA New characters now start with 15,000 meseta in their inventory (instead of 300). New accounts now start with 50,000 meseta in the shared bank (instead of 0). BANK CAPACITY The limit of Meseta you can store in every bank was increased from 999,999 to 9,999,999. Inventory limit remains unchanged. MESETA DROPS All meseta drops values have been increased. This applies to every episode (I, II and IV).
