This was enabled a while back for everyone, but something really horrible was happening as a result (I forget what). There is a reason it was disabled. For now, yes npc skins are your only option. Side note, npc skins can change some of your character's appearance (a known bug). Try messing with them and see if it looks better.

Larva just launched the event and hasn't looked into it. He still needs to help all off the people who lost levels (several people were reset to level 1 thanks to hackers) and fix a bug with the inventory reader so we can scan your accounts. It could be a while, but it will addressed.

Yeah multi client is annoying, but works. Just make sure if you're using anything after windows XP to change user account control to not dim the display (or just disable it) so the game doesn't crash. Common bank should be fine for minor items like materials. Some people have no issues with valuable weapons in there. Others won't risk it. The definite things to avoid are: Mags when leveling Combination items soon after they are created Those are known to be very buggy and will cause problems. But dual logging in to transfer should be fine. Just note you can only have the same account online once at a time. (Requires 2 accounts to do this.)

I typically suggest only putting items like materials or meseta in common bank. It's still really buggy. Also, did you just make the magical piece before putting it in common bank? Sometimes mag levels or combination items lose progress in the common bank. Regardless, known bug. I'm sure we can help you if you find a GM in game.

Luck materials, yunchang with hit, centurion ability, libera kit, Dragon scale, power materials, Tyrell parasol with hit, photon crystals, and addslots can all be farmed in normal and hard mode. It is work, but you'll get pds much faster hunting these things and trading. I personally hate mag making, so this might be a good alternative.

Yeah combo unlocked is too broken. Control tower would be way too easy if every ranger had an unlocked snow queen. I request crazy things all the time and I love snow queen, but it would be too crazy to unlock it. Better to just tweak the stats on this one. And perhaps lower evp on deldepth just a bit as long as in wishing for tweaks.

We can't combo unlock it, but perhaps after this discussion I can talk to larva about raising its ata a bit. No promises, but worth looking into, especially with the 80 hit weapon cap.

If you don't believe us, make one. You will be very disappointed in episode 2. Until I quit playing, I had a 90 hit and a 100 hit snow queen. They rock. I would not use one with less than 70 hit. They're too frustrating and you still need to carry a frozen shooter to be able to reliably freeze things. But even at 100 hit, there are a large number of enemies that you can't freeze 100% of the time. Merikle/mericarol, sinow spiegel, sinow berrill, ill gill to name a few. I don't know of any other users who actually have played with every possible hit percentage from 30 to 100% to compare stats, but even 100 hit (currently unobtainable) can't freeze everything.

There is a banned user named "fart" (i'm not kidding on the name) that was at the same IP address as you before the proxy. You may need chuk or larva to investigate further in removing this IP ban. I show nothing in the "fart" account that I can change to remove the IP ban.

Try a different keyboard. Also, If I recall correctly, there is something called "mouse controls" that saith/fyrewolf was telling me about. I don't know much about this, but perhaps mouse controls got turned on? If it is turned on and you can't change the setting, you might need to reinstall PSO. Did the game work fine before for you? Or has it always been like this since you installed PSO?

There may or may not be a cyane troll item for Christmas. All other new items have been moved to our first annual Valentine's Day event to allow people to hunt PGF/Girasole/etc. Just a heads up.

My two cents... unless you're willing to donate for max hit, snow queen is not worth it in episode 2. 30-50 hit is fine in episode 1 and 4, but seabeds and central control area will still miss even with 80 hit. Even 100 hit on ramar cannot freeze deldepth. EVP of enemies are stupid high in episode 2 seabeds. If using in the control tower, 80 hit will still frequently miss on mericarols causing you to insta die. If you know what you're getting into, however, snow queen is a very good weapon.
