    In my defense this stuff may be 'old' to you but, it's 'new' to me as I'd never read it before I didn't know much about Ultima or the other servers until after SCHThack crashed. Dumb ideas are still dumb. Doesn't matter how old they are Soly

    The amount of condescension on this server is amazing. I love having people with all the best gear tell me how easy it is to solo stuff. Listening to that is my favorite part of event times.

That's a very stupid way to assume someone is hacking. A person's ping could rise for any number of reasons and, assuming someone is hacking b/c their ping isn't the same as yours is just plain dumb. I use iTunes and run downloads while playing and I know it causes my ping to spike irregularly. If you're going to design a program to detect hackers lets try to make something more useful than your 'Guess-O-Meter' ping idea.

    I do wish the reason would be explained to us. It's very difficult to be creative/witty about picking a char name when trying to get both the name and section ID wanted. I don't know if it's a trust issue from the staff pov or that people are afraid of impersonators but, I honestly do not see, nor have I heard a solid reason why this feature is disabled. It makes no sense at all and with guild card numbers it'd be impossible to impersonate people anyways. Factor all that in with the hacker hunters that sit in block 2 trying to spot hackers for rep points/stars/votes/attention/ect and there really is no way to pretend to be someone else on this server. It'd be nice and I know Colorado wants this option enabled almost as badly as I do.
