ReconYourFace
Seriously... you get dropped into this futuristic help desk area and you have NO clue what to do. Not only that but the keyboard commands are so wonky it makes you trip over yourself. Help is appreciated (and not "make a room" if I knew how, I would) because I am brand new to this. Thanks,
DutchRide
Hi there! Welcome to the server. I guess you might not have any experience on DC or GC versions. That's okay! The main lobby that you start in after you select a character is a kind of common area for players to congregate before they start to play. In order to start, you do have to make a room by talking to the three characters in the middle of the lobby and from there you can select things like which episode you'll play on and what difficulty it will be. You can also join others' games as long as you meet the level requirements and it is unlocked. If you need help with something, I'm happy to be of any assistance I can in-game or answer any other questions you might have.
Lemon
I'm on my phone right now, but I'll post keyboard controls when i get home if you haven't figured them out yet. here are a few important ones: space - lets you chat enter - submits wasd - move F12 - opens menu arrow keys are the action keys (the symbols ar the right corner are what they do) up arrow - centers camera F11 - toggles chat mode. If you wver can't move and only chat, hit enter then f11. alt+backspace - auto disconnect. This will send you back to title screen. Don't worry, it will save progress. Don't feel like you have to play alone either. Chat with people in the lobby (place you spawn initially). Most player aresuper friendly and willing to help out.

Fyrewolf5
you can find a nice picture of the keyboard controls here Home or f12 open the menu. Enter or down arrow can interact with things. The 'futuristic help desk area' is called the lobby, it is where you chill between games and talk to other people. To create a room, you interact with the ladies at the counter. They will let you create or join a room by selecting the 'organize party' then 'create/join party' options. The game also supports any standard controller input so long as it is plugged in before launching the game. @Lemon Alt+Backspace isn't guaranteed to save progress. It force closes the connection, it's a killswitch. If you are currently lagging, then it may not save data.

Limonada
Basic movement: I do think the commands are ok once you get used to them: left hand on wasd to move [and pinky on control], right hand on arrows to center camera and attack. More Combat stuff: You can reach numbers 1234567890 for some skills/items; and ctrl+end for the quick access menu (for quickly changing weapons, spam techniques you put at the top or bottom of the list, and use items you use too rarely to hotkey in numbers); F2 to check equipment quickly without bothering with home. Other Handy keys for other stuff: Use space to initiate chat. Escape is handy to quickly closing any menu and return to the beloved game (unless you get trapped in F11 which you can only escape by pressing FF11 again). Home (or F12 if you prefer) allows you to open the main in-game menu and check your stats, items, chat, etc. Use tab to arrange the technique order in the quick access menu. Shift (+Fkeys) is helpful for setting chat shortcuts on the Fkeys like pre-making greetings or using the commands (Menu>Chat>Shortcut, hit space to type). Extremely helpful commands include /map, /bank, /lobby, /hh, /palette 0-9, but you can put any command (or relatively short text). Not as useful commands but good to know: F3 can be handy to check techniques or use them, but quick access menu is preferred because you can arrange their order; F4 for quick mag feeding; End button to open the "quick chat window" (and tab to change to the cute symbol chat).
