  1. Got a fully grinded 40 hit red partisan or normal 25 hit. Let me know if you want either.
  2. Is this a Heaven Striker or a Hundred Souls? :3

I have a bunch of hitless Asterion Strikers in my shop for 10pd if you need
  5. The only alternative is farming la dimenians in temple ep 2 normal with greenil but running xmas catastrophe is guaranteed drops.
  6. Greenil Ep 4 Goran Detonator is still the usual SoF for ult
  7. I think the Godrics Cloak drop is wrong here. Just done a bunch of max s runs on blue vhard and got vjaya from 3 Hidooms. Got cloak eventually but I'm assuming it dropped from Migium. Kind of hard to track in that quest :3
  8. has rejoined the hunt for stuffs.  Mass Effect was GID though.

  9. And with that I think my time as a type weapons dealer may be up
  10. Wasn't sure about the grind as I've never owned any Yeah my next thought was it's class specific to make. I doubt it's a hidden ata requirement or anything as racast would have enough.
  11. I knew making that egg blaster set would come in handy one day o.o
  12. Got a bunch of hitless ones in my shop for 10pd each
  13. Why are you playing PSO now? Nostalgia? Do you like it more than contemporary MMOs? DO you play with friends? Heavy nostalgia feels! This was the first online game I really got into due to the level of immersion that (as a purely console gamer back then) was unheard of before! I got back into this just over a year ago after having a retro games night at a friends. I had taken my Dreamcast along and we were playing lots of local multiplayer games. I started looking into getting the console back online but it's a lot of effort/money. Thankfully google directed me here when I was looking at private game servers and in a matter of minutes I was creating my first character! Like many others that have posted here I've made many good friends on the server that I play with but I'm always happy to mix it up with a room full of strangers. Yes, we're a tight knit bunch but we're also very welcoming to any newcomers. Etiquette that sadly seems to be lacking from many modern online games these days. Has anyone been playing continuously since the Dreamcast or GameCube days? I played on the Dreamcast until version 2 came out (unfortunately bought a copy off ebay that was locked to the original account holder so couldn't play online as couldn't get back in touch with them) then took a 15 year gap from gaming in general to focus on performing and music production (my main passion) If you played PSO back in the old days, what made you love it then? Do you still feel the same now, or enjoy it for different reasons? As I mentioned earlier this was my first experience of walking around with an avatar and speaking/playing with other folk in other parts of the world in real time. Blew my mind back at the start of the century The only other online DC games I'd played at the time were Quake 3 and Chu Chu Rocket which both suffered a bit from the lag of the might 33.6k modem the console was rocking! Coming back to the game now there is so much stuff I never experienced having only played episode 1 so with episode 2/4 and all the custom quests that have been created the game is so much bigger than I remember. I'm still in awe of how little I actually knew about the game first time round. Have you made lasting friendships/relationships through PSO? First time round most of my friends didn't have a Dreamcast so I only played with a few folk consistently and game hopped most of the time. On Ultima I've made several friends. Some that I'll just talk to most of the time rather than actually play the game with. That's one of the things that sets this place apart for me. If you want to do some runs there will usually be some folk ready to go but if you just want a chat you can always join Mud and the rest of the lobbywhorez The camaraderie here is great. How has PSO impacted your life in the most meaningful way? It's a massive time sink haha. But in all seriousness it's nice to have a game I can just pick up when I need some time to unwind. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking but I find playing this pretty therapeutic. What's your weirdest PSO memory? It's kind of sad and another reason I stopped playing back in the Dreamcast era actually. Cheating was rife back then, specifically item duplication. I had amassed a decent enough arsenal through trading and hunts for my char to get by. When transferring over to ver.2 the game wiped most of the trade items. I guess they were all cheat items. So I was left with an offline only char with more than half of my gear gone. Sad times indeed. If you're comfortable sharing your age, that'd be great I am 30 years OLD
  14. I think it's more expensive in lemons shop iirc (don't really magfeed much myself) but you're paying for the convenience of having everything in the one place. GMs here routinely put meseta rooms up where you can quickly max your cash so money isn't really an object for anyone that's been here a while.
  15. I remember those days well haha. I only played HUmar on the DC. For hunters here doing AoE I would probably use a diska of some kind at long range then switch to partisan when they get closer.
  16. @rayblasterx whenever anyone gets salty at RNGesus
  17. TTF Ultima has way more enemies in each stage. If you're just wanting to do a boss rush I would stick to the regular TTF as it's way faster. Generally if I'm powerlevelling a character I will use TTF Ultima when I first enter a difficulty but only fight until the second boss (as mines will take to long to be worth the increased xp) but I've amassed a lot of gear so I can make a level 1 char pretty deadly Honestly though, with my first char here I just played though all the story mode of episode 1 first and did all the one player quests. I also made sure to get the Soul Eater from Kireek. It was my first rare weapon haha. By the end of that I was breezing through vhard then I started joining random games which got me to about level 130 or so. I would just take my time and enjoy the game. With regards to meseta the GMs (game masters - people with purple names on forum) regularly throw up rooms with piles of money in them for free. You'll see a banner flash across the screen when this happens. If you need some cash just now I can give you and your friend some so making mags isn't an issue

I'll take this just let me know when you're on
  19. Fellow DC player back in the day. I've only been on the server for a little over a year (after a similar 15 year absence) but I'll answer what I can. I'm not sure about wireless pads. I use a wired 360 myself with no issues. I think I've heard folk mentioning joy2key and xpadder as some workarounds if you're not able to get it working. As a general rule of thumb if you're not sure about anything just put a message in the shoutbox. Chances are there will be at least 1 person on that can help you out but failing that you can always post here: The default xp on server is 3x to 160 then 2x to 200. 5x gets turned on randomly so when that happens you'll see a lot of rooms marked CCA show up. These are quick runs in episode 2 central control area as the boss there gives most xp in game. This server runs PSO Blue Burst which was released for PC back in the day. It has episode 1, 2 and 4 (so it has everything except the weird card game version on GC) There are lots of user made custom quests as well. If you're just wandering around in game all areas are available to you but if you want to unlock all the missions in one player mode first you have to play through the goverment quests in multiplayer. You can do these on any difficulty by talking to Momoka (the girl in the pink dress in the principals office) these government quests are basically the "story mode" of the game. Also if you are trying to figure out what ID a name will give you can use this handy calculator https://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/tool-box/calculators/section-id/ Any other questions just give me a shout and I'll try to answer (or direct you to more learned fellows ) Welcome back to the game
