  1. Need this thread to be actually useful. So that people don't post ideas which will automatically goes to void (well ok, some idea deserves to go straight to the void... but there is a lot of good AND doable things that just seem to never make their way out of this topic). (Btw I already mentioned that thing with Irene months ago. And I am sure that someone did it way before me, and someone will probably do it way after TheJoker... and so on)

  3. Deldepth for sure. They kinda got my irl physical ability : Fast. Dodgy as hell. Invincible when moving (not so sure about that part 7-7). Only thing they got and I don't, is style... I wish I could be as handsome as they are ={
  4. I know the issue about dual logging. If you're playing with four characters it will be a hell hard to to make them participate evenly. Not even to mention that this is a real bummer... I don't think everyone's able to do the same than you, tru, and for the one who can do it, well all good for them I'd say (after all it's quite the hard work to get such a result, we're only human after all). Ip address checking is not an option unfortunately. Talking about mac address : one can use several laptops (even if it's not handy) or even better, using virtual machines on the same computer. Talking about ip address : what if some people share the same address than you ? Family, classmate, etc. They would not be able to play as well. Of course, checking mac address would be a good start and limit a lot players abuses on the rare drops. Anyway, I was wrong with my ideas (contribution, RNG for all, etc.). I just posted a lot of bullshit in the end and I am sorry for that. People should just use either : 1) Janken (Midori) : People get along and play rock/paper/scissor to know who get the drop, japanese style 2) Rules of ultima (Colorado) : call your hunt, make people agree on it and if someone ninja report... 3) Wild play and Respect : First to pick up get it, or can decide to give it. The second time this drop appear, it goes to someone else. 4) Helping each other (Fyrewolf) : once someone get something they return the favor (might works very well especially between friends/team mate, otherwise it's pretty utopiste) Or a combinaison of some of the above. Why not... Don't be afraid to play with others and to share ! Be a little bold ! There's no danger. Try it.
  5. Like tru said, one drop per people would be insane. Now what if (I don't think that's doable but) the drop rate was tested for each person alive in the monster room ? Example : Imosgid, Shoutgu, tru1 and Lemon are playing together (Yeah ! Never happened but yeah !). Shoutgu kill his first booma of the day. tru1 was back to pionner because he needed trimate Lemon took another path and he's fighting a barbarous wolf. Imosgid was breaking some boxes in the same room than Shoutgu. That booma as like 1/140 to let a Dragon Slayer. The game will roll the RNG for each player alive and in the room. So Shoutgu and Imosgid will have a "try" of the booma's rare drop. In that situation, Shoutgu could get a Dragon Slayer and not Imosgid, or only Imosgid will get it, or both can get it, or none. Now say that Lemon comes in the room, get struck by a random rappy and die. No drop for him. Hem, all of this is theory. Am not sure there is a way this could be implemented... An even better "theory" would be drop rate in function of your contribution. This Imosgid who was breaking boxes would have, say, 1/280 to get the dragon slayer. Shoutgu would have the full 1/140. Now if we strike the booma together, if we do 50/50, we both get 1/140 drop rate, and then it's proportional (but never going lower than 1/140) Shifta/deband/jellen/zalure and even resta/reverser and why not traps could also be include in the calculation (so that it's not only damage contribution) But this is, of course, even harder to implement
  6. I don't like that way of thinking. Like everything is set in stone. No challenge. Do your job. (Why bothering playing a game for so long then. I'd personally get bored.) Besides it's wrong. When entering in a room, most of the time, the first wave of monsters will be annihilated by ranger and force before hunter takes place in melee (unless of course the so-called hunter also use range weapons every time, which from my point of view makes him nothing less than a ranger). If you mean something like FS and AN/SN permanently freezing/paralyzing/traping monsters (that's what you mean by support right ?) while hunters does the damage and Force buff/debuff/heal only, that's a waste of talent (this is of course a rough big picture, don't take it literally). So yeah, hunters does a lot of damage and are "technically" dps. But so does Rangers and I would even say so does Forces. I like the fact that you can switch roles with each classes. In pso, and even more on Ultima, Hunter/Ranger/Force can be either dps/support. Of course your ideal "good team" with ideal "behavior and skills" works too. And I have nothing against that. But man, that would be boring if it was the only way to play. Versatility is a quality which a make a game even more interesting imho.
  7. That might have work too. Well am not even asking something that great. I mean, Lindcray can still be a riffle type, just give it a sword skin but not the multi target thing. Basically, it's just for the pleasure of my sick eyes, nothing would change in the game play. (I don't want it to be a DF bis) But instead of normal bullet photon, a slicer photon animation would have been more interesting. Like : a spirit rifle in the core (damage, atp, range, one target), a sword as skin, and slicer for attack visual animation (once again, not the multi target property of slicers, just the visual). I don't even know if it's doable, but I assume it must be.
  8. Well, unless there is something else interesting to earn (extra exp perhaps), you can expect that this day, there will be almost no player on.
  9. Lindcray's stats are just fine, though the big range is indeed odd, but not 'that' bad. However I would have rather Lindcray being a sword skin and animation =/ (keeping the range of rifle, would have been fun to see in action)
  10. I would like to see S-Rank weapons coming back, for real. (I mean, not just for puny jellen/zalure spec) So being able to sphere it and mostly adding hit on it would be really nice.

  18. I just don't get that, is that sometime you find a 800 one, and sometime 1200. A range of possible atp. Or does it change when you fight, like sometime the bullet will hit at 1100. Does it have depend on beat time ? I personally use it and never saw it change, it's always 1200 atp. And I was wondering why using a gun skin for a weapon which is a sword originally (in pso2). It would have be fun to have a sword like with rifle range =D (and perhaps saber animation)
  19. I found this little one in one of the bunch of boxes from TTF in ruin : At first I thought it was a photon drop. (this area used to often give materials/high level tech/photon drops on schthack, so I always checked in)

  21. Indeed I forgot that shifta/deband are not a fixed bonus... Well, it would have been easier in the first place to take the screenshot without s/d T-T Or even better, to simply make the calculation beforehand and serve it on a plate all done (so that poor myself with bad eyes wouldn't make such silly mistakes).
  22. So Lindcray is like : ~1339 ATP 75 ATA 27 DEF (if I didn't make any mistake) Sounds great like this ! Especially with the spirit special.
