    unmountable_boot_volume? well this sucks... hopefully I still got my XP CD around somewhere...

      Oh joy, dealt with this many times in the past... Do a chkdsk /r in the Windows Recovery Console(via your install CD) hopefully that will fix it, if not, you may need to use the "fixboot" command to write a new boot sector to your harddrive to get it to boot into Windows.
