Another smack in the face of FOs. Shame V501/502 doesn't help with Megid and maybe even Shock status from Zonde type techs ... I see you've already crossed out the bit about Meseta but even then, you shouldn't have to rely on free Meseta handouts from GMs. Meseta has never been a problem on any of my characters, not with Fluids on FOs either. Later on, you'll most likely have an Adept (well, if you actually use it, depending on your unit freedom) and your TP bar will last quite a while. Also, you are highly likely to come across some Di- and Trifluids during a run or even gain a full bar from a level up if you aren't at 200 yet and keep an eye on your exp tnl. Finally, Psycho Wand taking half the TP cost from your HP bar if you are playing Nuke FO will make it even more trivial.

I remember reading something about Hylian Shield having a +1 to all tech levels though I can't find the topic. Obviously it doesn't add tech levels. Was this supposed to be implemented or just false information?

You don't need to do a circular motion (aka WASD). All you need to do to unfreeze is to hit left then right (or vice versa) exactly four times. A D A D A D A D, that's all. And yeah, I could never break out of ice on PSOBB with a controller either - first Gamecube controller, then Xbox 360 controller. Even though it worked perfectly back on PSOGC with the very same controller, doing the 4x left right motion described. Still, I prefer to just put on a Cure/Freeze at Dark Falz or wherever the danger persists, as long as I have the luxury of a free slot (usually on a Lv200 char).

At the beginning of the boss fight, don't run straight for the big orb - run around to its back before going close. The red/orange spinners will spawn there first so you have a much better chance hitting them. It can make a big difference in this annoying fight.

For using the Xbox 360 controller, I recommend the XBCD drivers. I needed to install those to be able to use my triggers properly. Now I actually have a question ... does anyone know why sometimes, units are not equipped in the order they should be? To clarify, on my RAcast I have 6 units in this order in my inventory: Cure/Freeze Centurion/Ability V502 Heavenly/Arms Adept Centurion/Battle The last 3 slots will never change (until I reach 200, then I can ditch the H/Arms). For the first slot, I change the unit according to the situation ... I do a lot of Path to Salvation runs: V502 during the run, C/Freeze for Falz' earlier phases, then C/Ability for the final phase to have more Luck and ATP. Now here's the issue, though it is only minor - whenever I log onto the character (or switch blocks, it seems), armor slots 1 and 4 are toggled; C/Battle is equipped in slot 1 and V502 in slot 4. I just don't understand why. I tried banking then un-banking all my items and sorting them in my preferred order but this unwanted behaviour still prevails.

Wilson, do you really think it is realistic for a new player to get their hands on a Cent/Battle anytime soon, unless they buy it via DTs?

Bringer's Rifle will be useful at the moment against the buffed Belras since you won't move forward as with a SoF, so no danger of a potential 1 hit KO. The accuracy might be a problem but depending on the situation you can try to be as far away from the target as possible to do the SN glitch, as it works with other weapons than Slicers, albeit the timing is harder.

You do of course mean Del Rappy, not Astark. 1/10 on them would be quite funny.

One of the forest quests with a lot of Monests might also work (Forest Offensive or Wrath of Forest) if you can reach them quickly, but I haven't counted the actual amount of kills you can get there. Realms of War on Ep4 used to be popular but it requires you to pay Meseta beforehand - and I do remember that I stopped after a certain area as this turned out netting me more kills per minute than doing the whole quest.

Hey Soly, in your screenshot the font/HUD seem to be smaller than usual, they take up less space on the screen. I've seen similar in other screenshots but most of us have the regular font/HUD size. Are you running the game at a huge resolution, something higher than 1920x1080? Or is it some special setting that you can't normally access? Also, lol at your 3670 HP

I'm starting to wonder if HH is really just tripled rare drop rate? There were so many banners for Reapers today (and a few days ago pre Belra buff), seemed like people found one almost every five minutes on average while you rarely see the banner during regular hours.

This is just a mistake made by a human being, like the Red Ring lv. 108 req instead of 180 on PSOBB Sega, or 51 Exp instead of 510 for Ult Gibbles on PSOGC.

I always thought it would be nice if there was an item that lets you add a small amount of % to a weapon. Like 5 or 10. Should of course be a rare drop that's not too common. I mean, the playerbase on Ultima is relatively small so not a huge amount of PDs will be dropped on average for all players to be able to power up their weapons in a reasonable amount of time. Just considering how many PDs it takes to fully sphere weapons, especially a naturally percentless weapon like Psycho Raven - 337 PDs for just one area so over 1000 PDs for all three. Takes ages to get that by trading and we're talking of only one single weapon. I doubt something like this can be implemented, just wishful thinking of an item that would be nice if it existed ...

Yes it does. But you'll need lots of hit if you want to use it with a FO. I have a hitless one and on a FOmarl with Red Ring and Kroe's Sweater, the special too often misses even for the last hit of the combo.

People just don't seem to know about the LOGiN Cup Match Race quest. Requires 4 players though (2 vs 2 players, this is a competitive quest), probably more than 6 Girtas. Then there's of course MA4DMD but that may be difficult depending on how leveled and geared you are. PB combo before the quest may be helpful.
