A couple changes have been applied so that players can acquire meseta more easily by their own means.
 
 STARTING MESETA 
 
New characters now start with 15,000 meseta in their inventory (instead of 300)
New accounts now start with 50,000 meseta in the shared bank (instead of 0).
  
 BANK CAPACITY 
 
The limit of Meseta you can store in every bank was increased from 999,999 to 9,999,999.
 Inventory limit remains unchanged.
  
 MESETA DROPS 
 All meseta drops values have been increased.
This applies to every episode (I, II and IV).
Their frequency is the same (which means meseta won't drop more often).

Hard: +500 to +1000
V.hard: +750 to +1500
Ultimate: +1000 to +2000

A new quest where everyone can farm meseta is available.
It is located in Episode 1 > One Person > Special Meseta > The Value of Money 2
 
After you helped a couple by telling Gizel to stop wasting their money for weapons in The Value of Money, the latter would like to thank you for the savings you had them achieve.
 
Quest reward is the same for all difficulties: 150,000 meseta.

For a long time, Yellowboze had an unfair bias to get hit% more often than any other section ID in episode II.
Today, the chances of rolling hit% have been adjusted to be equal for all section IDs.
 
The following changes only apply to Episode II weapon drops on Ultimate, and is about odds that said weapon rolls hit attribute.
It does not affect the actual values you will get.

A colossal pit was discovered a few years ago on an island far in the South of Gal Da Val.
It was called The Abyss.
 
The vertical hole has a diameter of around 55 meters at the surface and the Abyss is at least 3,300 meters deep.
It possesses a unique ecosystem, wherein lie ancient and extraordinary relics that defy common sense.

The government sent a lot of determined hunters in order to unveil the secrets of the Abyss, but some of them never returned.
Many have challenged the mysterious abyss, pursuing hidden treasures and artifacts of immense value.
 
The Abyss is divided into at least 6 known layers.
The deeper, the more dangerous it gets.
Space and time also seem to be distorted in the depths.
Hence why each of those layers has a different hunter level restriction.
 
The Abyss is huge, in your quest you will only get to explore a very small part of each layer, so you might not meet many other people.
 
Various paranormal phenomenons have been observed in the Abyss.
There is a mysterious and invisible force that applies undesirable effects on adventurers upon specific conditions.
Those symptoms and triggers vary from a layer to another.
They are called the Curse of the Abyss.

There are only 6 known layers because going to the 6th means inevitable death.

13th Anniversary Event
 
Ultima is turning thirteen years!! hey that's almost the half of my life, and older then must of my
child's. I'm very thankful to all our members and to all the staff who voluntary invest time of their life
to give all of us a place to enjoy PSO. Certainly we aren't the must visited server, but Ultima has
always stand out as a great community. A place were users can have a great time and make friends.
To me that's always been the must important part of Ultima. And for that we been online
thirteen years.

In order to promote multiplayer games on Ultima, Individual Dropstyle DARs (Drop Anything Rates) have been increased to the following:

1 player: 100% => 100%
2 players: 80% => 93%
3 players: 70% => 90%
4 players: 60% => 88%
 
 
However, Guidelines have been updated to prevent abuses:
 
You are no longer allowed to use multiple characters with Individual Dropstyle enabled in order to get multiple additional drops for yourself.
From now on, if you want to use multiple characters in the same active room, Shared Dropstyle must be enabled. 
Type /dropstyle 0 in the lobby before making your room for that purpose.
 
You are allowed to use multiple characters on Pioneer II (bank, feeding, trades and transfers purposes) on any dropstyle.
 
You are still allowed to use multiple characters for quest rewards farming (Christmas Catastrophe, Raid on Central Tower, Power Plant Plight, Harmony of Despair I etc) or multiple leveling (Central Control Area etc) but Shared Dropstyle must be enabled when doing so.
 
Exceptions:
Using a second character in the following quests for support tasks on Individual Dropstyle is still acceptable (as you will get kicked if you can’t control them), as long as other room players agree with it:
- Realms of War (we currently consider enabling drops in this quest)
- Simulator 2.0
- World of Illusion
And quests that require an individual ticket to play:
- Harmony of Despair II (Ultimate)
 
And obviously, any quests that do not involve item loots are also excluded from those rules (Gallon's Shop, The Beak's Cafe, etc).

Violating those rules and abusing the Individual Dropstyle can lead you to Game Master warnings, disconnections or bans (if intentionally repeated offense).

HALLOWEEN EVENT 2020
 
Deep below the depths of Ragol,
Seething in the darkness,
Piercing cries of anguish can be heard.
An ancient curse is reawoken;
Thought to be eradicated by the Hunters,
The plague was actually merely contained,
And now threatens to contaminate the surface once more.
Its host creature has mutated,
Becoming twisted and ferocious,

The 8th Triforce Event of Ultima has just begun!

During years we been trying to bring balance in to Ultima server, we had have goods runs and bad ones for sure.
but we have prevail and here we are, with a even that its all about balance.
Triforce Event it holds a special place to me. It's probably my favorite event of the year,
when this event was hosted for the first time, it was a success and and with the Master Sword been one of first custom items.

During Seven years the powerd of Goddess hasn been protected by our heroes. This time Darkness has become stronger than ever.
The Dark Lord  seeking to obtain the Ultimate Power to destroy all, to bringing etharnal darkness to Ragol turning it in to the Dark World.
In this Era of Chaos the Ultima's Hero shall raise and protect our server, fight the dark army and bring light to Ragol once again.

Only those who show true bravery and courage will overcome the darkness,
Will you be the hunter to bring light into the darkness of Ragol and emerge victorious?

Master Sword Legendary weapon of The Hero. This sword will bring light into the darkness.


Boomerang Enemies might be stunned to see you wielding a child's toy


Magic Hammer You got the Magic Hammer! You can drive the wooden stakes down into the ground! You can use it to pound on other things too!


Great Fairy Sword With black roses etched into it, the Great Fairy's Sword is the most powerful of all blades.


Bug-Catching Net  You borrowed the Bug Catching Net! There may be some other things you can catch with it, too.


Power Glove "I love the Power Glove! It's so Bad!"


Stealth Sword An antique sword with photon camouflage made in a strange lab on Pioneer 1. - Kill Silently -
