I am glad this topic was made because it has brought up some discussion that has very much been on my mind. I have to be completely honest, I have been demoralized and discouraged lately because of the server's policy of letting people use real money to enhance or buy weapons. If someone can just buy what I worked to find, it feels like it delegitimizes what I just did. One of the worst examples would be an 80 hit demons type shot, which is considered one of the essential gear items. This item for the most part can only be obtained by money. Sure, you can go out and farm the blank shot, but without the hit and the special for 70 DT it's worthless. I could self-find items trade for the DTs instead of buying, but ultimately the DTs come from $$ and the item can't exist without it. I can't self find any of the materials to add the special or the hit, and I can't find the item with more or less hit, but the item is considered core arsenal. What about finding an event item with hit? Not likely in only one month. Ultimately you will want 80 hit. Not possible without DTs. See, I don't want to pay my way to 80 hit, I want to find the 80 hit, which is too unlikely in general and impossible for a 1 month event only item.

Does anyone know what the other servers do that is more attractive? It sounds like Ephinea is the most popular server, so why? Someone from Ephinea dropped by the other day just to try out Ultima, and when they saw how few people were logged in compared to Eph, they said "this sucks" and left. How does above server attract so many people? Do you need to mitigate DMC problems a lot more?

Soly, can I configure something in the floor reader so it highlights event drops as red? C Battle and PBD don't show up as red for that addon, and I think a lot of other event items may not either

I never had this much trouble with DMC on Diablo 2(actually any at all), even with 8 players attacking the same enemy. It makes me think it just comes down to a programming issue

I've attacked an enemy down to 25% and then someone else attacks the enemy and it jumps back up to like 70%, and I was never quite sure what to do about that

What does that mean? Is this another annoying bug?

I would love to keep the option of adding whatever special I like for 50pds at Gallon's shop, but just get a better weapon for each rank. B-rank: less than 7 hours: 40hit ATA 10 ATP Needle or whatever A-rank: less than 5 hours: better than above S-rank: less than ? hours : much better than normal S-rank

If you can buy a great Psycho Raven with hit for 50 dts, and this is 70dts, then prices are really out of control; how difficult is it to mod the game to change what you get from Cmode reward? Like maybe a SS weapon with the options you said?

So is my understanding correct, that if you want to take a blank type-weapon and add a special and add 80 hit, it's going to cost about 70 dts? That really, really, really doesn't sound like a good system if so and I want what you are proposing to be the solution to that.

what's the SN trick? I'm dying to know. Spread Needle + frozen booster = frost needle?

This topic is exactly what was on my mind recently and I’m glad you brought it up; I personally saw the “boom-bust” after Easter season ended, and I have noticed there is almost no incentive to do CCA runs “off-season” and that makes things much harder for newer players to get levels; I wish Gal could drop something better to incentivize CCA runs to help newer players get their levels, I just don’t know exactly what

What do you think is best for disabling 2-3 Delbiters ASAP, since frozen shooter only gets one at a time? Is a Frozen Faust or Blizzard Needle a good option for enemies very resistant to Spread Needle paralysis that you have to freeze instead?

Someone posted a screenshot of a 70% hit weapon from Sim 2.0, and I always wondered if that had different odds too
