  13. which is why people have warned several times already that time-gating essential items around events will hurt populations; I noticed Destiny doesn't use that and has higher population, and Ephinea which dwarfs everything else (222 right now!) ditched that some time ago. But that raises several other questions over why Ephinea is massively more popular than everyone else. Also, PSO2 didn't kill Ephinea's large population, so we can't rely on that. I would note that popularity is fundamentally about what most players want, and the signs are pointing to several factors including when core items are available.
  14. That event was very appreciated by many, but it still misses the main point that 2 full months is way too long to go between major events. A mini event over several days won't fill the gap. Other events have 2 weeks to 1 month in between, but I strongly vouch for 2 week max to be on the safe side.
  15. Summer event ended July 18, and the next event will probably be around September 18, so that's about 2 full months in between. I strongly suggest not to go more than about 2 weeks between events because each week motivation and population will drop.

  17. Exactly, which is why I was aiming to equalize the two and not really one over the other, but if that's not your philosophy so be it; but either way if it's true that hit % is only 1% for Ep2, that really needs some help

The idea was to do the math and think about what that means to the player; Excalibur only drops from Olga and is 1/102, and suppose it's not HH and you have a 1% chance of getting hit(1/100) that means you have 1/102 * 1/100 chance(1/10200) and about 10000 Olga runs before you would find the weapon with hit; What that does is make the only viable option for hit either hit event or pay for hit with redeem, which is not really what the player wants because finding the item is what is most satisfying. If you dislike encouraging boss farming then why give the drop to a boss in the first place; also, some items are boss only like above What about the time cost of hunting down Olga vs many Gi Gues?
  19. Increase the chance of getting hit on a weapon for all Episodes to 7% for regular monsters, and 15% from bosses (if the original code is not a giant spaghetti mess) If it's true that Ep 2 is 1-2%, that especially needs the help
