  1. OMG that dark shredder looks simply amazing ! (Adding 40 weapons for one event is just silly, don't mind those kind of comment) You've done a great job anyway, thanks !
  2. Happy Birthday Dashie !

Well every day can be your unbirthday =)

      Happy unbirthday Dashie !

  3. Oh well you sure have a point. However I find that awfully sad to only see the "output" of it. People doe cca room during green name to level up. Doesn't matter if there is an event or not, people who feel that they need to power up will do cca/ttf anyway. I don't have a problem with that, because in order to actively participate in event, you first need to have a minimum of levels. I mean, when you're a new player and barely are lv 90 or less, well, most of the "good" stuff is in ultimate right. Not even to mention you need lv 110 for ep4 ultimate. So yeah leveling a bit is necessary and all people cannot just be hunting. You're being very harsh, and even I'd say rude, saying there is "no interest at all in this event". People worked on it... If you want to be really "clear", please tell us what you were really expecting from this event ? You may see while thinking about it that your expectations are perhaps a bit egoistic or not realistic (40 items per event is not realistic). Agreed for the mini-event on skins design. dw I don't think you're angry at me or anything. We're just having a talk about our point of view that's it. Btw : "Great bouquet" (of flowers) confirmed on skyly love rappy.
  4. Well that is, if you only play ranger zaykho. Is there someone here who doesn't even play a Force or a Hunter ? I know that ranger are op, but come on (just for the heck of it) sometime a little change doesn't hurt, does it ? And even so, stuff can always be sold or traded for other things you care about (even if it's just for sphering/adding hit). Anyway, hunewearls need some love, help them by selling those "useless goodies for racast" ! On a downside, I totally agree with you for the "great design stuff" thing. Honestly, that Lindcray looks like total crap gun to me. Just saying, no hard feelings. I know designing new weapons/armors/stuffs takes time that you cannot necessary afford. So am fine with crappy skins, especially since we get nice events like this. So I thank all Ultima staff for that Valentine's event ! But if some people brings you welled designed skins, please use them ! Pso needs some magic for eyes too =)
  5. The only thing racast could need, is better skins and lighter footstep ^^ And hunewearl does not have enough very good stuff, assuming they're often considered the "worst hunter choice possible".
  6. Oh so Lindcray is hunewearl only ? Well, if that's a useful weapon (people have confirmed it, which is good, but we still have no idea what that lindcray actually is and does), that's an excellent news and should stay huney only imo. Now some stats please ! =)
  7. When you say into the ship, you mean into the lobby ? Where all people gather ? There is a desk with three ugly npc waiting for you. Go to that desk and talk to one of them. Then pick up : Organize a Party Create a Party (if would not advice "Join a Party" for your first time, except if someone kindly ask you to hunt together or you want to join some friends to start together.) Episode 1 Then set a name for the "Party Name" (doesn't matter what, just not something offending), you don't need to set a password, pick "One person" for the "Play Mode" and let the "Normal" difficulty (anyway at lvl1 you can't choose the other one). PS : "One Person" mode is easier when you fight solo (and you don't need to set a pass to be alone). Just let "Normal" play mode if you want people to be able to join you. It will be a bit tougher though. You will arrive at the guild counter, you can either talk to the not that ugly lady at the desk to pick up a quest, or just go on Ragol (that planet where we're supposed to play) to directly go fighting poor innocent animals. To do the last one, get out of the arrival room and turn right (between the two soldiers). The wall will open and you'll see a warp. Choose "Forest" when in it and enjoy and game.

  10. I really don't think that this is allowed. I mean, that would frankly be odd and I never saw that done before.
  11. Just the character who did it, and just on the difficulty level he did it.
  12. Indeed, "Blue Black Stone" can be bought to to Gallons shop for 50 pds. Check this out : http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=772 So basically : make a party in ep2, then quest > shop > Gallon's Plan. Go talking to the yellow almost chubby fonewm with black glasses (around the ryuker/telepipe area). You must have exactly the right number of photon drops if you don't want to be screwed, for they will take all the pds in your inventory no matter what item you choose. So the guy who will try to trade you pds for item is Paganini, he will make a little speech then ask you for a list of items. You'll have to say "No" a lot of time before he offers you the right item. Make sure not to make a mistake.
  13. That especially include EVP. I mean, am not even sure that the other stats are buffed. But for the EVP you can be sure of it. That's why people here long so much after hitter weapon. I would also like to know how much more EVP does each monster have though =)

  16. Did you disabled the UAC ? http://www.technipages.com/windows-enable-disable-user-account-control-uac
  17. I agree that would be a good feature just because it would let more choice to the beginner about how they customize their controller/keyboard. Also would be great for Force since they usually don't combo. However, if you did set up correctly your controller/keyboard, and you're a hunter/ranger/combo user... then it should not be a problem. What I mean is, don't set up the "normal attack" (or whatever kind of attack you use to initiate the fight) on the same key that the "pick up/action" key. It might not be natural at first, but you quickly get used to this kind of configuration : right key down key left key S H/pick up/action N So that if you play NHS, NHH, NSS combo, you will never "pick up" items instead of attacking, because when the combo is already started, you will not pick up items until the end of it. But still, your point remains valid, it would be a good feature anyway (at least for FO who just don't give a damn about combo, most of the time).
  18. By the way, I talked about playing alone or playing with people... If you want to play alone, there is actually a question to ask yourself (like, how the hell am I gonna make it works ?). But if you're playing mainly with people, then either Hucaseal or Hunewearl is fine. I basically said a silly thing such as : playing with team -> pick hucaseal Now you may also consider the kind of people with whom you play : -If there is at least one FO in every game... well, your s/d j/z and resta will be pretty much useless. -If you're playing with casts (hucast, racast by example), then Hunewearl is a great choice and you're just like a God to them. So when I talked about picking hucaseal when playing with people... I only considered accuracy (ATA), power and traps based on the fact that you will probably have a FO in the team anyway. But that is not true, sometime, the FO is just... you. So once again it depends what you want to play (tastes and colors). I would make a rough big picture like : Hunewearl : - Alone : great potential - Team : support (so ok, here the sue's coat with that supposed double resta range is great, assuming there is no flowers, but that's it) Hucaseal : - Alone : dangerous, slow and sometime frustrating (depend on the quest and stuff, you can also rox like a mighty pony, but am considering average stuff and hard quests) - Team : carry/dps Now about stuff... well have been first playing with a Hunewearl, then I went with a hucaseal (because I needed a new ID, not because I didn't like hunewearl). I basically gave all of my stuff from hunewearl to hucaseal and it worked just fine (for the main, very useful stuff). Only noticed a few differences at low level, like Lieutenant Mantle cannot be equiped by Hucaseal (but Black Hound Cuirass works just fine after lvl 121) and the Aura Field which also cannot be equiped by Hucaseal (but you got the BOVN). And of course there is the awesome Sue's Coat for both character later on. So don't worry about stuff thing.
  19. The high ATA of hucaseal is sure a really good thing. I would personally consider things like that : If you're playing all alone, no dual log -> choose Hunewearl If you're playing with people or you can/want dual log -> choose hucaseal (notice: dual log is actually not a good point, for it's a pain in the ass to handle and you'd better just play with people or just with one character at the time. Or perhaps am just not good with the stress of having two characters ^^) The reasons : Hunewearl : have shifta/deband up to lv 20 AND jellen/zalure up to lv 20. This is really great when you're solo, because when applying buff/debuff, you can handle everything by yourself (most of time of course) with average stuff. Moreover, you got resta which is very useful to avoid piping to town every time you run out of dimate/trimate Hucaseal : have more ATP, have more ATA... and have TRAPS which is overgreat. So if you can have a hunewearl or a FO to heal you and more importantly to buff you and debuff monster... Hucaseal is actually a better choice than Hunewearl in that case. Was my two cents, and it's very discutable but I think you got the main points. (Then there is the skin or appearance, and the weapon animations/restrictions of course.) At the end it's all about your personal tastes ^^
  20. Hello mate ! You just came on this server, you barely know about PDS (http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php/topic/341-photon-drops-info) and already, people are talking about DTS... So what is this strange beast, and how to get your way around that... WHAT IS IT ? In order to maintain the server alive (since well everything come with a price), you have the wonderful possibility to make a donation to the server. When you make a donation, you get what we call DTS or DT, standing for Donation TicketS. 1 DT = 1 $ DTS can then be used for at least two things : - Redeeming things in this list : https://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/announcement/13-item-list-donations/ - Trading with other players How to get it ? First, you need to visit this page : https://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/donate/make-donation/ When you've been through the procedure, you will then receive a automatic personal message (pm) from @Larva, with "New Donation" as the title. (Larva will most probably never read it, so don't lose your time trying to answer him ^^) Just to be sure, the message will be the following : What to do with it ? 1. To redeem for donation list item/service In that pm, you will see at the top something like (outside the Conversation box area) : Click on "add" and enter the name of one of the GM (@cyane and @Soly by example) Then, if you want to redeem for something in the donation list. Well, make a nice post in that pm asking for what you want. The GM will put the item on one of your character (first slot by default, but if you're online with your first character it will be on second slot, something like that). You can also ask a GM on the chat or in game. If they have enough time and you ask nicely enough =) they will ask you to "up the pm" which means you have to post in the pm where your DTs are so that they can see it. They can then join you in a room in game and redeem on the spot. 2. To trade with a player - Add the player to the pm (yes still the one with your DTS, that you get from that Larva) the same way you've added the GM before (even if you do not redeem, DO ADD A GM before adding someone else). That way, people knows that you have enough DTS to make the trade. - Post a message in this pm saying something like : "x DTS to thatguy" where 'x' is the number of DTS and 'thatguy' is the pseudo of the trader (the forum pseudo). You can also write a true sentence like "I give x DTS to thatguy for that item and also that" - The trader will give you what he/she promised you in exchange of the dts. It will happen in game, you need to make a party (with password or not, free to you) and the trader will join the room (if you told him the room's name and the password via pm before, of course) and give you what he/she owes you (according to the terms of your previous agreement). Simply put : Add the trader to the pm > post how much you give him > make a room and share the name/password with the trader > get your items A bit of informations about trading... People used to trade 15 DTS for 99 PDS, so like 1 DTS for 6.6 PDS That is not set in stone and will depend on the market/trader, obviously. Key points -DTS are stored as post on the forum in your PMs, therefore it's not an in game item. -You need to add people to the pm with your DTS in order to sell them. -You need to be added to the pm with other people's DTS in order to buy them. -If you have DTS in many different PMs, you need to ask a GM to move them all in one PM in order to be able to use them as a whole. (if you wanna buy something worth 10 DTS and you have 2 PMs with 5 DTS each, gather them first before the trade) -In order to move your DTS, the GM must first be added in both pm. -When you don't have any DTS left in a pm, you may leave this pm. Make really sure there is nothing left. -Obvious but : only GM can redeem things from the Donation List. You just don't need to meet them in game in order to get the items. Tips -Most of the time, it is CHEAPER to just get the item from the players than from the Donation List. So don't get in a hurry, take your time to ask people around. They will not eat you, eventually. -When 15 dts = 99 pds, it is cheaper to sphere your weapons with dts than with pds. 15 dts get you + 35 % where 99 pds get you + 30 % (don't even argue with yourself, YES, 5 % is a big difference ^^) -Do not trade all of your pds in dts. You need to keep some pds in your bank (like 50-99 would be a good thing ^^ optimally ofc) because some GM's event will ask you for pds every once in a while, and at that time the dts value is greatly decreased. -Considering the above point, try to think that way : only trade your pds for dts when you need it and no more than the amount you need. PDs will most likely always be a more reliable value than DTs. That's it for now. If I made some mistakes (I must have ! One cannot be just flawless...), please feel free to correct me and point out what's wrong. If it's incomplete, well post your two cents and I will add it (with credits !) to that post. If you have a question... do I need to hold your hand ?
