  1. That seems to be the case. Here are some screen shots to show this. As you can see the FOnewm used 19 HP mats and still gains the same amount of HP as the FOmar who didn't use HP mats (600). It lowered the fonewms hp to the point before he used hp mats (from 1264 to 1226) then increased it by 600, the fomars hp stayed where it was then increased.
  2. 25 dts. There's not many people selling them right now that's why. Once it's available again via event it's price may go back down to 10-15 dts.
  3. I'm pretty sure it's 600 hp. 150 per noob/hp unequipped. Also it first brings your HP down to the point where it would be before you use any HP materials, then raises it by 600 after that. It will help you from getting knocked down.
  4. Well said Starlord. I'm not sure if you realize how difficult the drop is. People who have hunted it can tell you. It will take a looooong time on average to find one, and if you did find one would you really wanna sell it for only 30 dts? Look at some of the other prices on here. 30 dts isn't that much. I think it's good to be informed on what to expect, because lets say someone was nice enough to sell it to you for around 40 dts and you thought they were overvaluing it (when really they were undervaluing it), then you ask them to go lower and they sell it to someone else. There goes your chance of getting a reasonable price. Honestly you don't have to have amazing gear to hunt sjs. It's a long hunt, but not necessarily too difficult. You may be better off hunting it yourself. A blank tjs is probably gonna seem underwhelming and disappointing to you anyways.
  5. Considering the fact that events practically define this server I'm not sure if that's the best idea. I can understand not releasing the drop chart initially so people will have to guess and find things on their own, but never releasing them seems like a poor idea. That seems like something that would make newer players frustrated and cause them to quit.
  6. I have an idea to improve the server. How about releasing drop tables with events so people know the rates they're hunting for? I feel like the last drop chart we got was in the Valentine's event 2015. Does it require a lot of work to inform us of the rates or is there another reason?

  8. I spend so much time thinking about all the things I want to do when I have the time, but work keeps me so busy. At least now I have a break from school. I feel like humans spend too much time working.

  14. That's a good idea. I think it would still be a good idea to disable to the purchase of dts for a little bit that way the economy can stabilize, then make it to where there was a limit per month.

I agree that it's not the fault of people overselling their items and being "greedy", because as you said, if they sold them for a low price someone would buy them and resell them for a high price. Unfortunately those who have the easiest time taking advantage of those who undervalue their items are rich people who have hundreds (or thousands) dts just sitting in their PMs. If someone sold their CB for 25 dts, a rich person would just buy it immediately and resell it for 100 dts. Making DTs cost $2.00 per 1 dt is an interesting idea. I think another interesting idea would be if they temporarily disallowed the purchase of DTs. Then the ones in the current market would be worth more of course. They would get transferred from player to player until people redeem them, and eventually DTs would be much more scarce, then they could allow for donations again. You would think this would just cause things to go back the way they were, but I feel like the inflation would be gradual and it would take awhile before things got out of control again.
  16. Well I don't think it's impossible for a change to be made to at least balance out the economy a little bit. I think events should last longer and we should get drop tables. Very simple fixes. Events should last one and a half to two months imo, and pgf and sta should be available through the entire event, and if they aren't available during the entire event, we should at least know exactly when it is available. It kills the hype when the GMs don't tell us anything. While I genuinely think that would make a slight impact on prices (make them lower) the real issue is something I can't think of a way to fix. When PGF was available via donation for 65 dts, that set the price for the rarest item in the game (apart from sta) at a price of 65 dts, so by default everything else (that doesn't have insanely high stats) will be worth less. Taking PGF off the donation list was bound to increase the price, and overtime if the server continued to flourish the price would get out of hand (which it is right now), and the fact that they made it ridiculously limited last year just exacerbates this issue to an absurd extent. The fact that the price kept rising meant the people who really wanted it and who were willing to fork up the cash for it had to pay ridiculous amounts (hundreds of dollars) since this continued to happen DTs flooded the market and caused inflation. It's just like if the U.S. government decided to print a ton of new money and give it away. That's bound to cause inflation. The dt isn't worth as much as it used to be. And even if PGF was easier to get people still wouldn't wanna lower their prices as much as they should since they've seen it being worth around 500 dts for so long.

I'm disappointed you started out with Fonewearl and not Fonewm tho Fonewm master race!! Just to put things in perspective from a statistical standpoint. If the dpp system was implemented the same way it was on Ephinea, like this: 1P: 100% DAR 2P: 82% DAR 3P: 67% DAR 4P: 54% DAR Then lets say for example I was quad logging the beginning of MA4DMD (which is very easy with forces tbh), and I had 4 pinkals for example. So the drop rate not including DAR of Mother Garb+ is 1/317 and Dorphons have about a 20 percent chance of dropping nothing making the solo drop 1/393. If 4 players are in game with that drop system above then the drop of each player would be 1/488 or 1/585 with DAR included. Now lets say I defeated 317 dorphons. Solo this would mean there would be a 36.7% chance of not getting MG+ http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=N%5B100*(392%2F393)**(393),3%5Dand 63.3% chance of me getting the drop. If I killed defeated 317 dorphons quad logging (which wouldn't take much longer I assure you) I would have an 11.4% chance of not getting MG+ http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=N%5B100*(584%2F585)**(1268),3%5Dwhich means an 88.6 % chance of getting the drop. That's extremely significant. Right now I would typically farm MG+ solo, but if the drop system was implemented exactly the way it was on Ephinea, then I would have to quad log because that's the best way to hunt that. I'm not saying that drop system would require quad logging at all times, but I am saying for that particular hunt (and many more), that would be the best way to hunt for it. I feel like I would enjoy solo hunting MG+ more than quad logging. It's a inconvenience logging all the characters in in the first place if I'm only gonna be playing pso for 5-10 mins anyways. If they made it so the drop was 4 times harder for each player to get then after killing 393 dorphons with 4 players they would have a 36.8% chance of not getting the drop http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=N%5B100*(584%2F585)**(1268),3%5Dwhich is a 63.2% chance of finding it. Almost the same chance just a little bit lower. At this point it wouldn't be worth quad logging for hunts and it would still benefit new players. However, what I expect would happen is new players would create rooms called "hunt mg+" with the normal drop system activated so they have the best chance of getting MG+ (1/393 vs 1/1572 with 4 players) then we're back in the same situation where we are now. No one would join his room that he called the drop for. People would continue to lock their rooms and play solo. You could argue that the newer player should make his room using the dpp system, but then what are the chances the other people would actually give him the drop he was looking for if they found it. They would just lie about finding the item, say they found a different rare and leave the room. Now he's still hunting at a ridiculously low rate (1/1572) and not getting any closer to his goals. Velocity suggested what sounds like a good idea. To make a completely new drop table when dpp system is activated making it so people could still enjoy this feature while not abusing via quad logging. However, it would take a ton of work to balance that kind of a drop table out. Adjusted drops constantly whenever things start to seem out of hand will just end up causing more issues and bugs. The next thing people start suggesting is get rid of dual logging. I think Fyrewolf5 gave a perfect explanation for why that is out of the question. He explained why getting rid of dual logging per PC is an issue, and if you get rid of people logging on with the same IP then you can't play with your family or roommate (out of the question). Even if we were to suffer all the loses that come with only being able to have 1 instances of pso up per computer then that would just reward people with multiple computers. I have multiple computers and I guarantee you that I would log onto them and abuse the system if it was made poorly like it has been suggested. Fyrewolf5 made a lot of good points. When changes are made pros and cons are inevitable. The only changes that have been suggested haven't been well thought out (as he pointed out). I'm not saying there isn't a solution. I'm just saying one hasn't been found yet. Even if the perfect solution is found out Larva may (and probably will) say no to it, and nothing will be done. People should realize that changes on this server happen very gradually, and I don't think this is as much of a pressing issue as other people seem to think. I don't like this poll because it's not specific. Should dpp system be implemented yes or no. Well how can we answer that if we don't know how it'll get implemented?
  19. Well to my knowledge the only way to get a mag like that would be via minievent or donation. I know people were talking about having mags like that as prizes for PPP, but i don't think that was implemented. Well built custom mags typically sell for 25 dts. I'm not sure it's possible to raise a blank mag to be perfect without mag cells but if it was possible (I can check later) then I would think a blank mag would cost 20-25 dts.
  20. No rainbow baton has unreduced chaos as a special. Which is the highest level confusion-type specials and it's unreduced on a slicer making it very effective at confusing groups. The unfortunate thing is confusing enemies isn't typically the fastest/best way of dealing with them (although I would say confusing enemies is something many players overlook more than they should) and hucaseal already has more than enough confuse traps for that purpose. Rainbow baton has the highest amount of atp of any slicer apart from slicer of fanatic which only hits 3 enemies therefore using mostly just normal and heavy attacks to do damage can be pretty effective. Rainbow baton isn't considered high end gear, but since you can get a high hit one and stats easily it's useful as mid grade gear. Slicer of Vengeance has charge special. It's extremely strong and awesome XD
  21. Considering they already have this on Ephinea and people that feature there. It's likely a good idea to implement however since we have dual logging here I don't think it should be done exactly the same way. For me it would depend on how it was implemented. I would still solo most of the time I'm sure.
  22. I agree. From what I've heard, PSO2 is a disappointment similarly to how PSU is. Another thing that sets pso apart from modern games is the fact that it's actually difficult. This server is no exception. The buffed enemies on this server made what used to be a challenging game, into an even more challenging game which is perfect for someone who has played pso for years.
  23. Yeah Aura Field is a great choice overall. There are other good situational armors like Lieutenant Mantle which has built in trap vision which can be helpful in some desert quests. It's good to see that you plan on staying here for the long haul. That's the way to go c: This game has almost infinite replay value. Even after all the hours I put into this server, I can always find things to do to have fun when I have the free time to play it. Even when you have great gear, there's almost always better gear, and since new items getting added every now and then, things always stay fresh.
