  1. I will pay 100 DT's for a DM with half or max stats, (50x3-100x2, 80h). No more, no less. I am not paying 500 DT's for something like this. Message me if interested.

Yes I would. Telling me to sell something for an extortionate amount is ridiculous. Just because one country sells a carton of milk for a thousand dollars doesn't mean another country should. Just because one person sells a DM or DF for 600 dollars doesn't mean everybody else should; unfortunately everybody else is now, everybody is that's a complete scum bag and wants to extort the bs prices.

If you sell your items for that much, just be aware that you are a scum bag and should be treated as such. Period.

=/ anyway you wouldn't sell it at all. That's my point. Because if a country sells carton of milk too cheap, another country will buy it and resell it for a better price elsewhere. Same goes with Dark Weapons. If you were to sell it 100 DTs, then either the guy would keep it for himself, which is quite normal since he bought it ^^, or either he will sell it more than 100 DTs.

You just cannot break this circle that easily. Or to do that you need to find a whole bunch of non-greedy volunteers who all have dark weapons and are ready to sell them. And... that's gonna be a hell hard I can tell ya.

  2. Hey I got a mention for doing pretty good! :3
  3. I didnt forget I was waiting for you to announce first second and third place :3
  4. Looking to buy a DM or PGF at some point... >.> a Machine/Dark DM fully sphered and 50-80 hit, how much in DTS? Has the price gone down at all since they were 600+ originally?

  5. You've yet to show me the math so, Im not sure how I could possibly be arguing against it since you refuse to show us the "math" Also, yeah, I do know the difference, but judging from the PM topic, you clearly dont
  6. I thought your stance on this was to make Multiplayer better and more enjoyable? If so, wouldn't we swap these rates? Make 1p 54% DAR, and 4 people 100% DAR? Or are you still on the side that everybody should solo forever and never interact with people? Also, you keep talking about "understanding the math" but I dont really think even YOU understand it, Midori. I'd like to see you try to explain to me how the math has much of an impact on players enjoying themselves.
  7. But clearly we can, considering people do play in groups and still get RR's and everybody is happy, that's how the current system works. You all play in a group, you all agree on who gets RR, then you all hunt until those people get RR. Plain and simple, that's how it's been since the beginning. So very clearly, you CAN have both. Also, that's a question Midori asked and we already know it was a bit of a loaded question.
  8. Is this your actual stance or are you going to switch stances again the next time you post? And I don't really see you offering any solutions Midori, the only thing you've offered to this thread is fictional evidence and confusion (most because of you, like I said, switching sides every other paragraph). edit: Also, saying "most players are upset with this" is a gross overstatement and is basically saying they agree with you. Don't overstate your opinion as a fact, Midori. Maybe all the 6 upvotes you've got in this thread are the people who agree with you, but 6 people isn't the 150 people that play on this server, to a majority of them haven't even got a forum account.
  9. I've broken your post down into what I have trouble understanding or believing. 1.) This made no sense to me. On a contextual standpoint you're telling me that if we make an item 30% easier to drop, we should just make it 30% harder than it cancels out? Okay, I can maybe see that, but then the question still stands: if we needed to buff the rate at which it spawns in the first place, it's probably not something that's going to ruin the economy, so why then does reverting it suddenly solve everything? 2.) Saith's solution was never to discourage multiplayer, if I'm reading his posts correctly he's on the stance that multiplayer is favored over solo to a much greater extent; by default, this would mean that he would have to find "solutions" that favor multiplayer. You're the only person that's discouraging it... I'm not sure if you've ever noticed, but giving out fictional data on why solo is better than multiplayer and then stating why it's better and why you should do it isn't really supporting a diverse playing field where multiplayer has distinct advantages over solo. You're consistently promoting solo, regardless of what you say your intentions are. 3.) You clearly do love that idea else you wouldn't be constantly giving fictional data on why it's better to do that than get on one account on one character and play with 3 other people. If you strongly believe that multi-clienting should be banned from the game, then the first step in showing your feelings would be to stop doing it yourself. I cut it out because it wasn't as important, but in your post you stated that you do it only because it's more efficient; let me tell you, the first step in creating a convincing argument (or a consistent one at that) is staying on one side of the argument and not deviating from that position. You tell us you hate multi-clienting and solo, yet you consistently bring us data on how and why solo should and is the best way to go. These are 2 completely different stances that you're taking in your argument; which is it? Are you in favor of solo and multi-clienting, or are you in favor of banning it and making multiplayer good for everybody? You can't be on both sides and then tell others to find better solutions when your "solution" is just switching sides over and over every other post. 4.) The system doesn't punish people from playing together. The reason why multiplayer is the way it is is so that you can make friends, build friendships, have fun with your current friends, play quests and finish said quests that you can't play by yourself. There are a plethora of quests that award great stuff or give the chance at great loot that you can only play in multiplayer, telling us to ignore these quests is an extremely ignorant thing to do; which inherently is what you seem to be telling us. "Multiplayer punishes people" the only thing multiplayer punishes people for is not healing when they need to. Other than the minor flaw of multiplayer needing to share items among themselves, multiplayer was mainly created as a social experience within a loot based game. Multiplayer offers advantages that many other things in solo doesn't. And let me tell you something, telling me you can solo those same multiplayer quests is bull shit because some of those quests require 4 people to even play; fight me.
  10. I dont necessarily disagree with you when you say solo is favored over multiplayer mode, however, this example is flawed to me. You're basically taking 2 completely different scenarios and comparing them. One scenario is that 4 average joe players takes 60 minutes to 4 man a quest, then some one comes along solo and does it in 20 minutes, some one like you, who has the gear and necessary requirements to do such a task with minimal effort. Are they better off you're asking? Well, yes, honestly. Here's the reasoning, it's because these people are average joe players that they require to be in a group to complete said quest. The thing about quests is, most of the time, the gear is what determines your ability to solo things (in most cases). If these average players need 4 to do in 60 minutes what it takes you to do in 20 minutes, they're clearly better off doing it as a group because taking any one of those average joe players and forcing them to do what they just did as a 4 man group solo, would take them even longer if not be impossible to do. Another factor I think you failed to look at was that, yeah, sure, items are split to 1/4 (maybe if that's how they are dealing out items) but you must also consider the fact of being able to do that quest at all. You see, if you are placing that average player in a solo environment where that same environment as a 4 man group they barely get through it, sure, the items are 100% to you and you alone, but they're not even going to be able to complete the quest let alone step foot in it without being demolished. Sure the items are probably cut down to 1/4, but at least you're able to DO the quest AT ALL. Now in a different situation if you took 4 Midori's and slapped them into a group of 4 and had them do the quest in 20 minutes 4 man when solo it could take 20 minutes to do and you get 100% of the times then, would it be better to solo? Hell fucking yes it most certainly would be. But the situation you speak of still requires the players to have the godlike gear that you have (as well as other things like general spawn knowledge and size, map hiding spots, etc).
  11. Okay, so before I begin my two cents, let me just say, Midori, kindly, of course, that farming materials in Normal-Vhard mode does not count as a viable excuse to tell us that Solo is favored over Multiplayer. I say this since that was what your primary argument was the last time. Additionally, your argument mainly favors those who are like you who have 10 billion characters with a million accounts that are all level 200 and have top tier gear. Not everybody is like that. I've been here for 2 years, and I only have 1 character that is level 200 and has top tier gear. If you want your argument to sound remotely fair and just to ALL players, you might wanna stop assuming everybody is exactly like you. Anyways, on to my argument. I haven't really read much of what has been said, only what Soly's original post was, so going off of that alone, here's my gripe. I made a post about 2 years ago when I first joined that explained my original thoughts on the "call drop" system we had in place here. It was really really dumb, that's what I thought. In my eyes, the only fair drop way to do was to make it so where players that got the items could pick them up, but then when they hunted for them again with their friends, since they already had one, they couldn't pick another up until everybody had one. That's how I felt at the time. But at that time, I got about two dozen downvotes for that post and tons of people telling me that I was being stupid and people like me ruin the server. For what reason? Because I made a post explaining about how our drop system was incredibly stupid and faith based. But people assured me if anything did happen the GM's would mediate between the players and take what belongs to others. So I sat back and just played the game. Now 2 years later, here we are with the primary reason for this stupid ass drop system even existing is because, and I quote "so we don't have to worry about people stealing drops anymore". Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you told me 2 years ago that I was a stupid idiot for pointing out that our current system was retarded and should be changed? But I guess a lot can change in 2 years, so I suppose I shouldn't be mad; I just find it extremely ironic that the exact same thing I stated for 2 years ago that I got tons of hate over is now being used as the primary reason for an entire overhaul in our loot based system and everybody seems to love and agree with it. Second, I hate this system. When I heard you guys would be enabling it in the game I knew right then it would be the death of multiplayer, more so than it already is favored for individual hunts, this system will destroy multiplayer entirely, I believe. There's a reason why this system is so good on PSO2, for those of you that don't know, section ID's mean absolutely nothing in PSO2. In fact, when I created my character back in the first year of the game's release, the game didn't even give you a section ID when you created a character. The reason why PSO2 drop system works so well in PSO2 is because drops are based around difficulty. In case you're unaware, rare items in PSO2 are not based on section ID's anymore and are based on difficulty. There's a specific item for each specific enemy for each difficulty for everybody regardless of ID (if you even have ID's at this point in PSO2). The reason it works so well is because you dont have to rely on section ID's and drops inherently are insanely different from the original game. In my opinion, lowering the DAR of monsters across the board is a cop-out answer to having too many chances at getting an item. At this point, if we're going to introduce this system, might as well make it permanent, don't lower DAR, and then just make the drops ridiculously higher (higher as in worse) for all drops. A Guld Milla could drop from a lowly Ultimate monster on PSO2 and in the drop system the DAR was good, but you would look at the enemy rate and say "oh, Guld Milla for that monster is 1/200 on a common enemy, with good DAR, that's super easy!" when in reality that drop was something more like 1/2,000,000 for that monster. Rates are extremely different in that game compared to this one. In my opinion, don't lower DAR, and instead just make the drops different. Make the rates higher (again, by higher I mean worse) and keep the DAR the way it is. I don't think DAR is the answer. But, if you want my most honest opinion, this system's entire purpose is retarded because the entire existence of this program was to "solve" a problem that everybody swore up and down wasn't actually a problem and is the best way of throwing out drops to people. If it was the best way, why suddenly the change of heart? That's what I'd like to know. I believe people will see how much lower the DAR rate is and just go straight back to the old system, because in all reality most of the parties that did hunt were parties of friends, people you could trust to not steal your banner or items. You rarely ever saw a group of people who were randoms and didn't know each other hunting an amazing item then complaining to GM's when some one picked it up that wasn't them. It never happened. Hell, you never even see randoms playing with other randoms anyways. Almost all of the groups on here are tight-knit groups of friends and clan members. Things won't change. Sorry if my opinion offends anybody or the work the GM's put into this project, but in my eyes, it was a waste of time to create this, a gigantic waste of time.
  12. Good luck dude, hope everything works out for the best.
  13. Hey guys, I started a new job at a factory working with insulation this week so I'll be at work all of today and all of monday-friday every week so I wont have as much time to be on here, so I thought I'd leave this here for people to comment on or PM me offers. I don't want very much, mostly DT's, 50 PD's, and some HUcast gear (like blank or decent statted PR's, hopefully with Machine) and that's mostly it. Im not looking for god tier stuff, mostly just some nice hunter equipment. Thanks. You can comment here or PM me, idc which you wanna do.
  14. S/T> Arrest Needle 65 Hit 50 Dark

    Wants HUcast gear

    PD's

    DT's

  15. Well I've already submitted my video for this event so at this point Im lazily creating content. But thanks.
  16. PC> Arrest Needle 65 hit 50 dark. I may want to sell this for DT's or other specific gear.

    1. anthonyplays

      anthonyplays

Well my two cents on this wep would be atleast 40 dts. I've seen an Arrest Needle with more hit sell for 45 dts

  17. This isn't my actual submission this is just a short film I created for the fun of it. Pardon my crappy editing.
  18. You can start by picking a better name and picture. Gross.
  19. I knew some one would find some type of enjoyment out of it. I'm surprised anyone actually watched the whole thing LOL
  20. Here's the Ultimate expression of this server. Praise me.
  21. That's good you want to improve Midori, it's good you're not closed minded, I bet you watched videos on how not to be closed minded on things! Perhaps videos on how to be open minded! When I said you play like a HUcast with buffs I meant to incline that you're selfish. HUcasts are naturally a selfish class because they cant heal others (other than using Star Atomizers) and they play for themselves. You have to expect this coming from a HUcast because they got nothing else to go off of. But you, you tell us you're a great Force main yet you do nothing that a Force is meant to do. Believe me, I'm all for different play-styles, and if your play-style was a battle mage that occasionally heals, that'd be one thing, but given how you don't even heal at all is another thing entirely. Casting RA techs is not what a Force is supposed to be doing; in case you didn't notice, a FOney's job primarily is to provide support to her team. That includes the following: Resta, Anti, Reverser (Or Moons for instant resurrection), Shifta, Deband, Jellen, Zalure. Your job is to support your team, but all you do is cast RA techs and then heal only if you need it. You wont even shifta/deband if people beg you, the one thing you'd think to do regardless if people asked or not. I've been playing FOnewm as my main for the past 10 years on this game, I am not saying I am the best FO ever, in fact, I'm probably very average, but I know how to support damn it. People dont invite Forces to deal DPS, they invite them to heal and support. If you need DPS, play a Ranger or a Hunter. When you do play Multiplayer? I was under the assumption that you never play multiplayer because it doesn't allow you to farm materials as quickly!? I'm surprised; you must've sacrificed a ton of opportunities to obtain materials to play with people Midori. This thread was made to chastise Saith for believing something different than you (even when he agreed with you on numerous occasions). Like, the very instant you made this extremely pointless thread Misombre immediately knew to ask why you created it. It's not some lucky guess, he saw through your crap. I hope you can eventually understand that your stance on solo versus multiplayer are just as valid as anybody else's around here Midori, I will not argue to say your opinion is not just as valid, but the issue lies in your inability to accept other people's PoV on the same issue. You say solo is favored, another person says Multiplayer is favored, you insult him, he gives you logical reasoning for his argument, you give childish assumptions and loaded questions, so much so that an entire PM group was started just so you would be able to discuss it in detail, yet you STILL could not do that without A.) Insulting the person you were arguing against repeatedly, and B.) Insulting the mediator that brought you there in the first place. Some one please shut this stupid thread down before I blow a gasket. For weeks I've been reading and coming up with ways that I could try to understand where you're coming from Midori, I was the one, sitting around a group of people thinking of ways to maybe make sense of what you are saying, but it's the unfortunate truth that what you are saying is nothing but rude remarks and nonstop insults and flamatory remarks on some one's intelligence. You are the closed minded one because you could not even let a single second pass by in a fair and just argument without swinging your fists and blocking out every ounce of full blown proof tossed your way. You want a valid argument that's on topic Midori? You want some one to give you a fair, open minded analysis on whether Solo or Multiplayer is favored over the other with a closing statement to this pointless and incredibly insulting thread? Well here it is Midori, here's your argument: -WARNING OFFENSIVE CONTENT INSIDE- Deuces, I'm out.
  22. Not like you'd have much people wanting to play with you anyways given how selfish your play-style is. Oh sorry, was I not supposed to mention that? Yeah see unlike everybody else here, I'm not afraid to be blunt. You suck as a FO Midori. Plain and simple. If your end goal actually is multiplayer, then you might wanna get to work on actually acting like a FO instead of a HUcast with buffs and Resta. And before you start to shift this off like I'm starting drama, this entire thread was created as a verbal assault on a singular person in order to boost your ego and condescending attitude towards that person and all others who have a similar opinion. Sorry (I'm really not), but you deserve this. Edit: If this gets deleted or hidden, so be it. But you're not clever.
