Ahhh a fellow axe slinger as well, giggity!  :onion-head11:

Yea, I can relate as my musical tastes are pretty eclectic as well.  Rock, metal, prog, jazz, pop, industrial from anything starting at Journey, Foriegner, Boston to Nevermore, Queensryche, Megadeth, to The Eagles, Blackfoot, .38 Special, to the Vince Guaraldi Trio, Steely Dan, Donald Fagen, to Micheal Jackson, The Cars, The Police, to Static-X, Ministry and...

Oh man, I could drop band names all day, from bands from the 70s on up till nearly today I'd say.  My music collection would frustrate most people, LOL.  I can be listening to soft pop straight into outright thrash metal in a heartbeat. XD  "And now for something totally different..."

70s on through early 90s is largely most of my favorites though.

Always push yourself to see where you can end up Selah, never give up on such a blessing, I've been doing it for over 23 years now incredibly.  Been to quite a few places, gigs and shows with various bands over the years.(quite a few of them were in Texas too haha)  My biggest gig so far was opening up for a semi-known (at the time) band at Clicks Live in Tyler, TX back in 2013.  Talent can take you lots of places, but skills will always define where you can go.  Rawk on hon. \m/

i stick to open tunings when i write because i love the voicings you get on chords, at the moments my acoustic is in dadgad, but I typically write in facgce.

I think my biggest inspirations would be yvette young, antoine dufor, pierre bensusan.
