Yes, now I have a collection of "boss drops PD during event" pictures, got the same for STA on Shambertin/Dark Falz. Awesomeness.

  4. I'm posting this topic to demonstrate how in this years Xmas event so far, the Happy Hours have been distributed in a way that strongly disadvantages certain time zones, especially players who happen to have a "regular" schedule with a daytime job. I'll explain the table below. Samples were taken from the Happy Hours Alert! topic, based on my own time zone (CET/UTC+1) from which I then calculated the start times in a few other time zones (hope I didn't make any mistakes!). For the first two rows I can't list the HH start times anymore since the forum won't show the post time for entries which are older than just a couple of days - however I do know that I missed both HHs so the start times most likely weren't favourable. Times that I deem neutral (also taking into consideration whether it was weekend/holiday) are just grey, while favourable ones are green, so-so ones are various other shades of greenish/orange and red is just, well ... crap or "no can do". As you can see, things are quite uneven. I also included the Japan time zone just for sake of completion, though I have no idea how many players we have from that or neighbouring time zones. Seems the majority are from "the Americas". To illustrate my personal experience as one of the unlucky Central European players, out of the 30 total hours of HH time the event granted us thus far, I've only managed to catch maybe 4 or so - one reason being how Xmas celebrations already start on the 24th here so I was with my family when that HH started at 7 PM local time (I barely managed to catch the last hour of that). The only full HH I got was on the 25th, and that's because the night before, I jokingly asked a GM to give me my own "6 hour HH" after an unrelated in-game chat, so I was roughly aware of the time the next HH was going to take place. For all the other HHs - missed them, go figure.
  5. I feel your pain. But don't worry, if some of my luck brushes off on you, soonish Olga will throw in a bunch of Mono- and Dimates into the bargain. Awesome innit!
  6. I would add Crimson Coat as secondary armor because of the resists which can be useful in certain situations when you are low level and need the resists. Also gives nice ATP/ATA bonus to some Red weapons which are sadly outclassed by many other weapons here.
  7. Yeah, same time as our previous record. If we had the N/AB DM in that run would have been quite a bit faster. Oh well.
  8. Then what if the weapon already has 100% in two or three areas? I've heard somewhere GMs won't (or won't be able) to move them in that case - maybe it was only referring to Dark Weapons, I can't remember. This option would be helpful for people who have only one of a specific weapon and can't afford to make a set, so they could adapt their weapon for a specific hunt/purpose.
  9. Another random idea that's probably not possible: A way to move attributes on weapons without requiring a GM. Think of having an NPC in a quest like Gallon's Shop who you talk to and you have to pay something (like maybe give him a Photon Booster so it won't be free to do this). Then you will get options similar to when you sphere a weapon - you pick a weapon and after that you can redistribute the attributes. For example: 40 0 0 30 50h The game will recognize how many areas have attributes (1, 2 or 3) and also whether there is hit, so in this case it will allow you to move two attributes, the 40 and the 30, asking you something like this: Select the attribute to move 40% to: Native A.Beast Machine Dark Now let's say you picked Machine. Then, the game will ask you where to move the 30% to, in this case anywhere except Machine, so you won't be able to merge them to 70%. Hit would never be affected at all. The benefit would be that you'd never have to bother GMs plus you could do it with weapons that already have 100% somewhere.

  11. Because a fair share of the TAers on Scht behaved in an immature and condescending fashion? Anyway, here's my fun story from the Dreamcast days. We played Challenge mode, none of us super experienced in it yet. Stage 1C9 with 4 players. One of them disconnected during the first half, so it was just three of us (a HUcast, a HUmar and me playing FO but not sure which class). At one point, the HUcast started going on about this super nice ice cream he was just having, not entering rooms with us, just stood there in the hallway and then suddenly decided he didn't care finishing as he'd already done 1C9 anyway. And disconnected. Well, he could at least have dropped his dolls and stuff for us, but no such luck. So we pushed on and managed to get to Falz. Last phase, the inevitable happened. He kept doing Heaven's Punishment and I didn't have enough HP, ran out of Scapes and that was it. I was like:
  12. Now that I'm borrowing a Native/A.Beast DM from Night, I've been doing quite a few solo runs (when he's not doing 2P with me) to see how much I can improve my previous submission (11"47). Did get a few faster times (mostly around the 11"20 to 11"30 region) but most of those still had far from ideal circumstances so I didn't submit. Today, this: Multimode Solo TTF (Twins PB at Falz) - Pollux, RAcast - 11"08 Finally, a great run with invinc at Dal Ra Lie, no attack taken from Vol Opt and a very nice Falz (despite no invinc at spinner phase) who stayed down for quite long in the last phase - my soul got taken but it was over after a few secs.
  13. Yeah no worries, was just pointing it out as the glitch certainly saved a bunch of seconds so without it your time would probably have been similar to 9"40. Plus we are "only" using RAcast, I'm sure DF HU would get better times if everything falls into place.
  14. Heh, improved by 1 second even though I was not invinc at start of last phase Edit: Holy crap, just made another run and we did have awesome luck (also with mag activation). TTF 2P no PB, 9"40 - Night (Mystiic, FOmarl) & El Socko (Pollux, RAcast) Falz didn't even go up at all. Remember, Vol Opt magfeed glitch is not possible anymore ... so not sure about those older records where it may have been abused.
  15. It's probably more complicated than that because of the ATP range which is small on some, huge on other weapons. For example, that Red Sword with no Grind has a range of 400-611. However I don't exactly remember how % affect this. I think I read somewhere that % on the attribute will affect both min and max, so in case of 100% attribute on a Red Sword, the range goes from 400-611 to 800-1222. I'll hopefully be corrected if this is wrong.
  16. Why type /lobby when you can just make a chat shortcut (for example Shift+F12 in my case)? Then you can bind it to a key on your controller. I have various PSO configs on Xpadder (which is similar to joytokey), one of them is for easy quick hunts where I won't need to heal, like PW4 first room, so it has the same Enter/Number stuff on the shoulder buttons like you explained. But for regular play I don't like this config since I only use the Xbox 360 controller which has slightly less buttons than the PS3 one.
  17. I've asked about that before, Eres. Seems not possible. What you could do is have a 3rd party program running and create a macro that does the necessary keyboard inputs (Enter, Down, etc.). I haven't looked into this yet but I'm sure there's software out there which does exactly that. I know my Logitech Gaming Software can do this. I've tried Xpadder to but it seems unreliable and sometimes drops parts of the macro (a bit liked a dropped frame), messing up the whole macro. Edit: I just did this with Logitech Gaming Software. First you create a profile for PSO and locate its .exe. Then you define a "multiple key" macro and assign it to a mouse button. You just need to figure out the delay (in millseconds) between key presses. About 50 ms between pressing and releasing a key and 80 ms between releasing a key and pressing the next one seems sensible, it also has the added benefit that you can't make a mistake by pressing too quickly (like ending up with a Normal difficulty game when you wanted Ultimate).
