I was talking about the Saber bug not for the drops from monsters, but implying for crates. Why? Because that makes material hunts harder, meaning a rare monsters event is what we need. Since the Saber bug is here in Ultima, the only viable way to hunt materials is, I was thinking, to take advantage of a rare monsters event so as to gather them in normal mode of diffictulty. So today there is one, so I was happy and all. Seeing this drop charts http://brownskiii.tripod.com/id8.html i took my oran to gather mind materials from Al Rappies, but I got an HP mat instead. I can already hear you replying "that chart is for Schtack not Ultima", but you already said that it was accurate for the most part. x.x Now I know what "for the most part" means, but then could we see a good one? x.x How the hell am I going to gather mind materials now? x.x Post addition: now instead of power mats from hildeblues, I'm getting General//mind units T.T And yes, I killed several so it really was on the 7/8 drop slots. And yes, I checked, I'm indeed Oran ID section running in forest normal diff. x.x

I'm sorry about bothering you with this, but the same thing that happened to Tikal's mags has just happened to me: I feed a mag coming from another character, which makes it evolve without changing its stats at first (this is probably what causes the bug though, so i'll avoid doing it in the future) and there you go; after Iogging out and in again, it's stats have changed. GC number: 42016948 Here was the mag before I gave it to another of my chars: Uploaded with ImageShack.us And the disaster... Uploaded with ImageShack.us So it appears it is safer to feed a mag with only one character, as much as possible. Thank you for your attention.

OK due to everyone wondering under which level of difficulty the mag cell Ashura is dropping and people being being tired of answering "no idea", I suggest telling us if we can find them (not only St Rappy) in normal or not. Knowing this would give us more hope to find that mag cell. Weill you please reveal this?

Thank you but you have not understood what I'm asking. I want neither information ont how the specials work nor how to keep the game interesting for yourself when you become powerful. I already know that. As for some specials being better than others it is relative. What I am actually asking here, is whether or not a lower level player is under the impression he would have more fun, should the higher level one stop using his crazy demon slicers or needles, etc. so he would have to kill in more hits. Any low level hucaseal (or any class lol) tired (or glad) of having once had a high lv player demon all the monsters every time, here?

I've never been been accompanied by someone who demoned everything in front of me. It seems clear that too much destructive power will kill the fun of others. But here's my question: what about demon? Is it a detestable special like hell and the 3 sacrificials (with charge being definitively the lamest). People ask for shifta so I may consider that they want to kill in aas few hits as possible... But when you kill everything in one hit, what then? Maybe they find it fun 1) all the time 2) not past the first 5 minutes 3) frustrating And I don't think asking people directly is the best way to know really. Rather they will say things like "it's fine". Please share your honest thoughts on the matter.

XDDDDDDD We beat Olga several times and I when I picked the Saber (which is the usual item now eh? x'D), that message didn't show up. Usually when you beat Olga Flow here with this 3rd anniversary event thing, you get a Saber "normally". But me and another person once saw the usual message "has found a rare weapon", as if something else was supposed to drop instead... I really hope the xmas event will be different! ;*D))) OK OK I'm inelegantly complaining. x'D
