  1. It is ridiculously easy to add that 'feature', however with the way PSO works and loads quest data, it breaks it, not only for the person joining (which it does very much so), but also for the people who are already in the quest. If GMs are doing it regularly, they should really stop if they do it without reason.
  2. While that may be motivating, I hardly think people would support the idea behind a prestige system if that were the reward. =p
  3. I have to agree with Lee on the prestige issue. While there are certain benefits that can be given, stat boosts really aren't feasible. Disconnecting a non-prestiged player for using a material (when they've hit their level) just isn't a good practice. Since there is no way to make it unavailable to use for non-prestiged players while those who are prestiged are allowed to go over it, it really is counter-intuitive. For max stat boosts, they are in the client, and there is no way to have the server adjust them based on a certain condition (such as being prestiged). What Eden does is give different colored names, and equipment obtainable exclusively from reaching level 200 at each respective prestige rank. I think it may also give other benefits such as having a higher chance at earning rare quests and such, but I'm not entirely sure on that. With the way PSO is set up, I can't really think of a nice method that would have sufficient rewards to motivate people to actually want to prestige. If it were my decision, I'd be more inclined to simply raising the level cap.
  4. When I said that I wasn't implying no one else had the skills necessary -- just the ones with access are busy. Also, I didn't even have access to any files or make direct changes to anything for any of the things I've modified (I modified them for other reasons and shared them with Larva) Honestly, it was me telling him to what to write in which place in the source over gtalk... a horrible method, and quite error prone, but it is what has been done... The tethealla source is available publicly at http://www.pioneer2.net -- If you make a change you'd like implemented in ultima, if you send the changes to Larva I'm sure he'd be willing to implement it. The thing about getting the current ultima source is it has things in it that somebody*cough* is after and is offering money to people for it, so I don't think Larva would share it with anyone unless they've proven themselves competent and loyal. (Ultimately it is Larva's decision) The ???? bug is in the original tethealla version as well. As for reproducing it, no one really knows just how to do so. (which is why it hasn't been fixed) EDIT: I'm pretty sure the drop table script is perfectly fine. chuk moved the page, and I guess lots of people didn't know it was moved, so it was said to be broken.
  5. If this were an actual development environment to people worked on things regularly with schedules, then something like dates would be feasible. Seeing as everyone who can do something has a job, (among other things) stuff on pso gets done when it gets done.
  6. only because he had the soul of a samurai; all the other vegetables stared at him in disbelief.
  7. just what kind of game are you trying to turn pso into?

And about the "did it"... i meant, that the exam is done, so.. you better "did it" xP

  12. Wait, you actually liked noein?! You put it off so long when I recommended it to you. o:
  13. There are two seasons of it anyway. The second one actually just ended yesterday, I believe.
  14. I'll list some from the last year or so, but my tastes probably don't fit most's so... for sports 黒子のバスケ kuroko no basuke -- I'm not really into sports, but I find it enjoyable. It's about a high school basketball team -- and about the players from the 'legendary' middle school team who all went to different high schools afterward. for comedy/slice of life わたモテ watashi ga motenai no ha dou kangaetemo omaera ga warui (watamote for short) -- though a lot of the reason I enjoyed it was its references to other things.. It's about a high school girl who isn't popular at all and the struggles she goes through. for a good shoujyo anime うさぎドロップ usagi drop. I'm not a huge shoujyo fan, but I still found it enjoyable. It's about a guy whose grandfather died a few years after having another daughter, and him taking her in. for a somewhat major (not so much as naruto, one piece, fairy tale etc) shounen anime キングダム kingdom. It's about a couple of orphans/slaves who decide to change their future by becoming good with a sword, and becoming the greatest shoguns under China, and the king they decide to side with.
  15. It's on Larva's machine, so... need to wait for him. ^^ I sent him a message, but he hasn't responded yet. At the very least, he should know about it by the time he can do anything about it.
  16. Where'd you hear that? I wasn't even sure it was officially announced that there was even going to be a second one yet. (with people leaning toward the fact there is going to be though) but I've seen nothing on dates other than some otaku doing some calculations based on manga releases to estimate 4-4-2015. (not that any stock should be taken into that estimate Not doubting or anything, just interested myself.
