I shoot: I crash (? . _.)

Recommended Posts

Yes, I don't get It neither. It started happening today, and Idk why :onion-head49:

Just like the title says: I shoot and my game crashes. I don't even get to see the bullets going out cuz It crashes right there. It's like the sfx of shooting crashes the game...

Anybody ever heard of this?

__________ Update before posting :onion87:__________

I switched weapons. Used FS, Yasminkovs 9kM & 3kR, DM, PM, ZaLauncher, MM and It's all fine with them...... then when I do with TypeSH/Shot, the game crashes. Only TypeSH/Shot crashes my game so far. I got an Instance where I could shoot them no problem, but at a certain angle It crashes? :rf-04:

I need help :onion-head82:

Whatever It Is, why Is It... uh, performing? and now :rf-13:I can't think of any reason to make that activate now..... ... well, only one thing comes to mind: there was a blackout for a minute, which Is enough for the laptop I use to turn off on Its own.. (weak battery? battery deterioration over time? :rf-08:). Only that would be the cause, although It's happened sometimes In the past :onion101:

What programs might not be compatible with Data Execution Prevention? Programs built with old codebases,
old 32-bit programs or games, old device drivers, and others may be incompatible with DEP Windows 10.

How to disable Data Execution Prevention in Windows 10 :
  • Open the Data Execution Prevention window

  • Disable DEP for specific programs

i hope it can help, i had the same probleme on windows 11.

Yep, that was It. No Idea why this became a problem now, but now It Is fixed, I think :onion-head81: (at least I am not crashing by shooting TypeSH/Shot now :onion-head70:)

For reference, this Is what I did. The Data Execution Prevention had the option to Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:. Changed It to Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only.

Also this Is Windows 11.

As to why this started happening, I can only guess the laptop updated on Its own and made changes.

Thanks @Lemon and @SeeU :onion107:

I'm back to running now :onion-head78:
