LINKSWORD2
OK, I'm stuck. I'm unable to install Ultima 2.4 full pack. My computer runs Windows Vista x64. I get an error message that says "This file contains invalid data." Quote Link to comment
SunnyD
You need to install the 2.6 mate. 2.4 is outdated. Quote Link to comment
LINKSWORD2
Then I need to know where to get 2.6. And on that note, perhaps the download page on the homepage should link to a dynamic source for the downloads that is more easy to update, i.e. exchanging PSOBB 2.4 for 2.6 when necessary. I have the web design skills necessary for this, I believe. The only matter that may make it impossible is if the server hosting PhantasyStarOnline.net is not able to meet the needed host requirements for a dynamic file source. Quote Link to comment
djij2010
You need to install 2.4 and the patch with 2.6 And its not just a matter of changing a link, the installer needs to be recompiled with the new exe and files, uploaded, then the link changed (for a new full installer anyways) Quote Link to comment
LINKSWORD2
I understand that. But I'm saying that the link should connect to a dynamic file host that automatically shows the newest version of the installer, once available. Quote Link to comment
