Misombre Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) So basically, my roommate launch a quest, we start playing, and after something like one minute, it froze. Then, I got this little window saying "PsoBB.exe has stopped working". As for the "problem signature" in the details, it's a BEX event and if you need to other informations, let me know. We tried different quests (TTF, LHB, etc.) and it still get frozen. So I guess it's not about that. I tried playing alone and I still crash. It seems to only happen while am attacking. Soly Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Open the start menu Type "sysdm.cpl" and press enter Go to "Advanced" tab Click Settings (on the performance group) Go to "Data Execution Prevention" tab Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" Click Add and search for PSOBB's executable (NOT the launcher) And Click ok to close everything Link to comment

It was indeed the DEP issue once again, I thought I had solved that because that's not the first time I've been adding the executable to the DEP exceptions, but it seems it was not for Ultima so was not gonna work. Thanks Soly for the fix, seems to work just fine, didn't crashed until now =) I guess it can be closed now Link to comment
