How To Avoid Joining a CCA at Gal Gryphon

Now that 5x experience is here and a lot of people are hunting Hylian Shield, you may notice a lot of CCA rooms. Most of you probably already know about this, but there's still a lot of people that join CCA while people are fighting Gal, which can get people killed sometimes.

This is what most people see when they go through the room list. Nothing to show who or what is in the room. BUT, there's a box that some people seem to choose to ignore.

See the part where it says 'Press Tab to display a member's information.'? Well if you follow directions, your room list shall now look like this.

Now you can see who is in the room and what area they are at.

This party is still in CCA, so go ahead and join! You won't cause any harm by joining.

This particular party happens to be at Gal Gryphon, so it wouldn't be wise to join(assuming there's even a free spot for you to join).

Anyways, this is just something that's bugged me for the longest time. It's pretty annoying being at Gal and having someone joining right in the middle of the fight, leaving you to get killed by tornadoes/lightning/whatever else he throws at you. This was probably pretty pointless, but eh, maybe someone will learn something from it.

And don't forget to mention the individual dropstyle.

Having a DAR reduction because someone joins during Gal death cutscene is not funny.

 

So yes, better use /setpass at the boss teleporter, I even use /setname to warn people when Gal is or is being killed.

 

(By the way, I'm not sure if this is Triforce event or Christmas ? lol)

set the /setpass xy command to a shortcut, so you don't have to type it every time.

 

it's very               

                     USEFUL

 

if you're lazy like chris you can do the same with the /lobby command

Another "protip" related to the CCA runs ... please, pretty please don't spam Heaven's Punishment special in CCA ... you seriously won't lose much Exp if you don't tag every spawn considering the huge Exp you get from Gal at 5x. It's so annyoing when stuff that normally gets combo killed won't die as expected, making the run taking considerably longer. As Saith said recently on TS ... "The DMC is real".
