Created a new page to generate settings for the game, this will be helpful for users that are not able to use the launcher.
The page is not available to the public yet, as it generates a new set of settings that will be used once we perform the update in this post

 

In the very near future I am going to update the launcher to .Net Core, which is something similar to .Net Framework but it won't run on XP.
In that case, if you can't migrate to a newer OS or install .Net Core, you will have to update the game manually as well change settings using that page.

Drops

Olga Flow now has permanent drops. This is not definitive: rates might get adjusted with time.

One Person - Ultimate

Central Control Area and Seabed: Enemies stats are now set to equal multiplayer mode, and bosses (Gal Gryphon and Olga Flow) are no longer invincible.

Added an option to change the the size of the damage numbers
There are 3 different settings for it:

  • Disabled: Does not change the size of the text
  • Automatic: Changes the size of the damage numbers based on the the resolution window/hud resolution
  • Manual: You set the scale manually as a percent

Currently the setting allows for 100% to 300%, but this is subject to change.

Quests

- Forest Offensive (V1.22)

  • Changed Anti-cheat measure from forced crashing to quest exiting
  • Fixed the bug which prevented players 2, 3 and 4 from getting a reward in Spaceship (and making them crash)
  • Updated rewards:
    • Solferino 1/5
    • Friend Ring 1/5
    • TP Material 1/5
    • Def Material 2/5

Game

 

Just a little balance update on weapons Grants boost

 

Sacred Bow: 15%

Caduceus: 20%

Mercurius Rod: 30%

Dark Bridge: 85%

 

So now Mercurius Rod is still the best way to go for Grants when you don't have a Dark Bridge. (It used to be outclassed by Sacred Bow)

Quests

- World of Illusion (V0.133)

  • Fixed Photon Drop message color at stage 7.
  • Fixed missing script calls that would randomly get players stuck after "Stage Clear" message in the first 6 stages. (2% odds)

I'm not really planning on reviving this thread, but might as well post it here.

With today's update, Windows XP will no longer be supported.
If you are still using Windows XP, I strongly recommend you update to Windows 7 or higher.

According to Larva's poll results

  • Happy Hours have been nerfed from X3 drop rates to X2
  • All rare drop rates get a X1.2 permanent buff

Updated the way custom textures are handled to streamline adding new models and textures.

Previously you'd have custom models and textures in the following directories

data\items\model
data\items\texture

 

Now, these files should be placed in the following directories

data\ultima\custom\models
data\ultima\custom\textures

 

There will be other files moved to this data/ultima directory, with the option to be cuztomized and placed in the custom directory.

And update to the Launcher will move existing files automatically if possible for a given timeframe, after that, users should put their files manually in those folders.
