If I remember correctly from official server, it boosts teammates accuracy. I don't remember how exactly. Maybe just by having it equipped?

I recently got a Red Barrier. Now I only need one more Red Barrier and Blue Barrier.

When I first joined this game, I donated $15 and redeemed it for a Three Seals (shield that boosts damage to aoe spells) to help my Force who was super weak and useless. Later on, I learned more about the game and donation tickets, and I realized that wasn't the best decision. It's possible to trade donation tickets for photon drops. 15 DTs is worth 99 PDs. I could have done that, spent 25 pds to buy a Three Seals from another player and then still had many more photon drops left over which I could have used to get a lot more good gear to help me out. tl;dr You are probably best off trading your DTs for photon drops and then using the photon drops to get a lot of gear. That's not to say that you should never redeem the donation tickets. There are some viable uses for them such as getting items you can't get from other players, or perhaps adding %s to weapons.

My want list has gotten much smaller lately. Besides super rare items no one ever sells and super rare event items no one ever sells, I just need a few more merges. It would be nice if I could get the last remaining merges/amps/color barriers at least.

Do you know that not everyone has access to many different section IDs? You said it yourself, people don't usually bother selling Caduceus, Brave Hammer and King Striker because they figure they are worthless and no one wants them. Even if you pick up every un-ID'd striker you come across, it can easily take many days to find a King Striker. Not everyone knows about The Restless Lion quest either. It can be difficult and time consuming to gather all the pieces and do it yourself, which is why some people are willing to pay for for the convenience to not have to deal with all of the hassle. And if you know what you are doing, you can make 10 to 20 pds in an hour of farming during HH. Maybe it makes more sense to spend an hour to find a Limiter that's worth 15 pds than it is to spend several hours and headache leveling new characters and gathering a handful of items across different sections IDs. You know how some players choose to donate money to get DTs to get the items they want, instead of putting in the time and effort themselves? They are paying for convenience. To them it's worth it. That's the demographic that I'm targeting by selling Mercurius Rods.

I heard about this today and thought about Ultima too. And as a fan of retro games in general, this is good news.
