  1. Exchanging 99 Photon drops in Gallon's shop or Lemon's shop is the only way.
  2. Feel free to tag @R-78 for closure requests as I don't necessarily read everything posted on the forums
  3. Is that even necessary? There will always be stuff to add / edit in this guide as it will never be perfectly complete. And it's prone to changes with server news. I mean we never deleted comments on any other guides and we are not going to delete every single new comment or lock this topic, are we? I don't see any problem leaving them here. A couple questions I would ask if I were a noob reading your guide: Do I have to press all the switches to unlock CCA or do I just need to be the room host? (need to press them yourself in any room same difficulty and mode, only one person can do it per run) I don't know how to make a max stats plan, are there any already made plans? (yes) So EXP x5 is random but how about EXP x3 and x2? (X3 is until lvl 160, X2 is after lvl 160, and those boosts are not stacked with X5) Does /dropstyle 1 have any drawback? (every additional player in the party reduces the DAR - Drop Anything Rate from monsters) What is WOI? (World Of Illusion, although I don't recommend any beginner to play that, better use the other quests on normal for PDs) Now some other suggestions: Please don't use yellow background color, it's unreadable with dark theme forum. Then this can be kinda misleading: with that you might get new people to think 1 dt = 7 pd is a rate set in stone while it isn't. This rate is actually unfair: gonna quote myself for the explanations: Useful abbreviations for everything: (Too many new people get confused by some usual abbreviations like DM, ROCT etc. Everything is here) The most important part about this is how you actually unlock it. You briefly mentionned it in the video description but you should also tell what exactly one has to do in the Tower: talking to Paganini at quest start and after collecting the data from the terminal. This is actually a good one, and it is up to date @C01D1 You should as well talk about the Green Names: how easy it becomes to farm stuff like Addslots, Trigrinders etc thanks to it, and that it's random and decided by Larva only since it's frequently asked "green name when". Could also tell what you can do with DTs and what you should not do (like buying anything from the Donation list) Just saying I know some people who felt really frustrated getting lvl 200 too fast thanks to CCA farming while their gear didn't follow their levels grind, and literally left Ultima because of that. I think CCA grind should be used only if you really need levels. Some people don't like when it's too fast, and for those people, /exp 0 command exists. Mention /changesectionid because some people just remake their chars when they realize they didn't get a good ID. Don't forget the 3 months use limit (yeah I've seen people change their ID or name to check if that was working and they were stuck with the unwanted ID / name) /magtimer can also help for early mag feeding. Levels requirements: Hard - episode I : 20 Hard - episode II : 30 Hard - episode IV : 40 Very Hard - episode I : 50 Very Hard - episode II : 60 Very Hard - episode IV : 70 Ultimate - episode I : 90 Ultimate - episode II : 100 Ultimate - episode IV : 110 Ultima classes max stats change (compared to vanilla): ATP : +100 DFP : +100 MST : +100 (for non casts) ATA : +10 EVP : +30 There are many other useful guides for noobs that got lost in the forums, such as this one for Enemy parts: So many newbs ask why they can't get past Forest story mode quests, as Government part is not obvious at all. If you also feel like making a video tutorial for farming and using Photon crystal to add hit on enemy parts, that could help noobs since this can be easily done on normal. Oh and usual trap: Hit F11 if you cannot move I might post more suggestions later.

Sorry I just came back from vacation. I'll be available all day tomorrow if you are still willing to trade!
  5. Honestly no clue why they'd tell you that. Some joke or misunderstanding? I was confused about how you could think it was only One person while I never said it but I then had a guess: Maybe when you read this post you thought "One Person - Ultimate" was applying to Olga drops announcement? They were 2 separate announcements.
  6. The 7th lvl 30 attack disk I found in all my life on PSO Too bad this one is useless because of Hylian Shield.
  7. Or just type /vol sfx, # with # in [0,10]
  8. Univers-PS has decided to decline the offer. It is adorable but we can't accept the gifts. Know that our team really appreciates the move here, and we are very grateful to you. Thank you all for the kind intentions! All the support is good enough as a gift.
  9. Time to [tl;dr] post here. Probably because they care about other people, and this is actually appreciated. I am not trying to take side just because I am one of the participants myself, but I will give my honest opinion regardless of whoever would have "won" this event. The event time was really not a good time as it was overlapping with Summer event. If you waited just one more month and made it in August, I'm sure lot more people would have tried, as there is no Ultima event going on in this period. You said this was because you were going to be busy starting from now, but how does it matter? If you are the judge of this event, all you needed to do is waiting for the deadline and checking the videos + announcing the winners. (this should take no more than a day) There was no need to be active during the submissions time. (unless you really were willing to participate to your own event, which is... weird) This is kinda disappointing that you can't find a middle ground about the question of rewarding the participants or not. Yes it was meant to be a competition but can't you aknowledge that the time and efforts spent by my team (which broke old ultima records) deserved something? Well I am pretty sure you actually specifically disliked (and certainly trashed) our ROW run because it is a gameplay you sure despise a lot. But 2 weeks in order to learn 3 long quests are far from enough... and that is assuming the 4 players are available during those 2 weeks. If it was a 1P or 2P teams event, it would sound more reasonnable, but I think you can understand how hard it is to gather 4 players to regularly play together and learn new quests? Since we noticed the DM strategies were good enough to end up with 5:07 left, we decided not to waste more time in this quest and focus on the other two. Of course I am not proud of the ROW run but we had schedules issues, we still managed to get 24 hours of practice together, and pretty much sacrified our last weeks of summer event. Trust me I would understand you don't want to reward a team if their submitted times were lame or even decent, but this is not the case. Well, your golden rule makes you officially clean for not rewarding anyone. So onto the next point: Why did you wait for the poll to end in order to add that latest rule? Why didn't you specify it before the poll ended? I think this is pretty clear: you saw the people chose the hardest quests, you pretty much knew most people would not make it to the end, and decided to add a safety rule in order to save your gear thanks to the quests choice. Else you could have considered Yan's suggestion here: Applicable on CCC as well: you could just consider which wave everyone reached and count every remaining wave as negative timer for score calculation. Example: every missing wave is counted as a 10 seconds penalty, Team 2 made it to Wave 98 before timer reached 0, there were 2 waves remaining so their entry is scored as " - 20 seconds left remaining " so they are still qualified and can try to catch up the 20 lost seconds on another quest. That way, the people who could not finish a quest could still submit something to your event. And there are a couple people in that case, they could not submit times because they did not pass Tower part in CCC. So the reason why there was only one submission is because the others were just unable to complete the quests, but they actually tried to participate. Not because Don't you think if this extra rule was here since the beginning, the people could have voted for something else than CF+ROW+CCC? This would actually be a good strategy, as it is a competition event, you choose the most difficult set of quests in order to eliminate as many teams as possible. But that rule makes it totally different since you require other teams not to be eliminated, so people would rather vote for the easy MU3 quests to make sure everyone can do it. So as it was, it looks like you've always been planning to sanction the 1st team if other teams were not capable of completing the quests. It's like saying "you won this competition but since your rivals were too noobs, here's your replacement rewards: If you wanted to be that generous to the point you originally wanted to give the whole content of every account you had, how is that a problem to at least give just a couple of items you don't even use to reward the participants for their time spent and efforts? Just as a symbolic move? Doesn't even have to be something as valuable as your top tier items. Everyone would be happy: the participants at least got something at the end and didn't TOTALLY waste their time, you wouldn't have got all the (justified) rant in this topic for not doing anything, and it would motivate everyone to look forward and participate to your next event if there is one. But now with such an event ending, how can people trust you for the next time you try to host a TA mini event? And no "their time will forever be on the leaderboards" and "her team improved their abilities to play together" are not rewards. Most people don't ever look at those charts. When a new record is done, it is normal that you add the time to TA leaderboards, since that's literally the purpose of it. And if all of that was just about getting names into those leaderboards, you could pretty much summarize the event topic to this: Exact same "rewards" and conditions, except that you don't get any dates restriction so it's actually even better. Regarding the promised rewards, I told you but I will say it again. Why does it have to be ALL or NOTHING? Just in your listed stuff there are 50 weapons 80 hit 2 weapons 85 hit 2 weapons 90 hit 2 weapons 100 hit 4 SonicTeam armors including 8 Dark flows 2 Dark meteors Literally 60 endgame items at least. This is obviously way too much for just 4 people. Hence why I told you that I and my team were planning to share the rewards with all other participants if we were to win this event. You said you didn't like this idea, just tell me why? Wasn't your goal to motivate people and get as many players as possible into Time attack, the only game aspect that you enjoy? I'm sure a lot more of people would have attempted to run this event if the rewards were split better, like 4th place gets 15x4 dts 3rd place gets 4 weapons 80 hit 2nd place gets 4 dark weapons 1st place gets all the remaining items There's still a big value gap between every prize so you still get the competition spirit you wanted, but it also suddenly becomes much more attractive. Especially to anyone new to TA (2 of my team actually were) who could be afraid to try it if they know only the best team gets something. Now you are basically saying "you were warned you wouldnt get sh*t if there is no other submissions" so it's like "it's nothing but your fault that you decided to participate to my event". True I guess, but I didn't know you would rather have no one showing interest to your event than one team playing the game. So yeah my team was the one to blame for doing that gamble. Nice reasonning. So I listed 3 important points that could make your event get more popular. Dates and duration Prizes repartition Clarity of rules before the votes Leaving that here, I'm not going to force you to give anything, and you took a straight decision already anyways. I am actually more concerned about the lack of humanity than the absence of rewards itself. And don't get me wrong, I personally was actually prepared to get nothing since the day I started as I sure don't really need anything in this game, so this post is only my opinion rather than a way to pressure Wilson in order to give anything. For now I just want to congratulate my teamates for doing their best and achieving new records, even though they are not as pro as you. And I feel guilty for inciting them to run the whole thing for nothing so I am sorry about that. I believe there is nothing more to expect from you here so feel free to lock this topic.
  10. I'd rather not copy Destiny ideas. At least you could make it. Originally in PSO it was impossible to add hit at all (except enemy parts), so in my honest opinion giving an alternative to DTs for adding hit would be good enough. The PS was juste a reference, could add other options like there are in Paganini to add less stats for fewer PDs. Now I'm concerned about the latter part. Why would you want to release a weapon that just acts like a replacement for a weapon that even someone new to Ultima could easily get in Beak's Cafe with a bit of work? I said Ultima Bringer, not Bringer's Rifle. That was just an example. Rianov special would hit stronger than DM special if it had a sacrificial special. I think you are overestimating the power of Burning. Burning does exactly the same damage amount whatever weapon you use, whatever grind and attributes% your weapon has, whatever MST you have. And guess what's the damage output on Ultimate Dark Falz ? So if Burning is gonna help you just for Dark Falz, then it is even worse than Rianov's original special. Better use a mechgun type weapon (yasminkov 9000M) at this point so at least it hits 89 x 3. Since I started playing on Ultima, I literally never seen anyone using Chaos special for serious purposes. It would be as useful as Dark. And I have actually already seen someone using Dark.
  11. As you said, for those who like gambling. I don't. RNG already scared off lot of people from PSO (like when you spent a whole christmas event for PGF and didn't find the said PGF). If this had to be a thing, I'd rather have Photon sphere add a straight 10 hit with a 100% chance. But that would require some Qedit expert. That would be broken against the enemies who are already weak to spells like Dorphon, Girtablulu, Shambertin... and not sure if it is possible anyway. (would Deband increase your resistances if so?) If something had to be done, would be to lower episode 2 monsters resistances. Sadly when you are a fonewearl/fonewm, you have to make a choice and bring two mags if you want use both magical and physical attacks at highest power. But I actually approve this as I always thought it was lame that Hunewearl suffer a 150 materials limit while Humar, Ramar and Ramarl has a 250, just because her ears are different than other fleshies'. Nothing could ever be comparable to FS/SQ efficiency on ramar/ramarl. SQ has a 100% chance of freezing while any Blizzard special is just too weak on non cast classes. And just in case you didn't know, freeze also depends on enemy's ESP, which means a lot of monsters are immune to blizzard (while they are not immune to FS/SQ). Considered that already. But what special? Hell would just make Rianov-5 totally outclass Le Cogneur which is a single target weapon with weaker ATA. Any sacrificial special would pretty much make it broken regarding what it's worth, especially against Dal ra lie / Barba ray. Demon's... was supposed to be Ultima bringer's purpose. Zalure would kill the last useful purpose of S rank weapons on ultima. HP drain? ... I like how you would need to do something in order to unlock Green names and not just wait for it, but GN also has its disadvantages: prevents people from hunting Rianov 5 in ep IV, Lame d'argent, Alis resolve and make mage runs more difficult. 1.5X drop rate combined to HH to make it 4.5X does not sound reasonnable. Same here. Guess how many people tried to copy 2B from Nier automata and actually copied Shiida, my main char instead? (jk but for real I made this char long time before I even heard about Nier) You could still use some skins but sadly only you will see them. You better just feed your mag in the shops of pioneer II. Your gulgus is just going to turn around with another gulgus staring at each other and never attack because they only attack their enemies' back. You posted in the wrong server.

  13. Leaving my team submission here. - @JupiterDeMars hod_dog (racast) / noudle (ramarl) - @Noopy ZYIOU (racast) - @3Psy knuckles (racast) - @R-78 Ard (racast) Christmas Fiasco - 20:18 remaining (09:42 elapsed) Cal's Clock Challenge - 03:55 remaining Realms of War - 05:07 remaining (14:53 elapsed) As you noticed there is a lot of DM use (especially in ROW which was pretty much new to everyone) but this was supposed to be a competition in which only the time matters, rather than the classes/weapons used. We actually tried quite a few runs with different compositions, but the results always came into the same conclusion: 4-rangers tend to outclass any other strategies we tried. A perfectly planned hunters strategy could probably do better but would require to learn every quest spawns perfectly, which was not possible regarding how we only had 2 weeks to learn 3 pretty long quests. Still we spent a lot of time on this event.
  14. After 13 months of fierce battle, the Morfos Finally got unbuffed!! Many thanks to @Soly ! Hope everyone enjoyed the Summer Event.
  15. No. It is not a big deal to reach max character MST and you can't exceed the MST limit with weapons anyways (just like LCK). Slow but still enough to be a pain to Hucasts/Hucaseals who use a Dark Flow as they can't keep their HP <12.5% unless they move non stop.
  16. Drops Olga Flow now has permanent drops. This is not definitive: rates might get adjusted with time. Viridia - Rianov 303SNR-5 1/93 Greenill - Sealed J-Sword 1/372 Skyly - M&A60 Vise 1/4 Bluefull - Heaven Striker 1/51 Purplenum - Heaven Punisher 1/32 Pinkal - Glide Divine 1/32 Redria - Excalibur 1/79 Oran - Yasminkov 9000M 1/51 Yellowboze - Vjaya 1/4 Whitill - Anti-Light Ring 1/64 Edit: Outdated rates: check the drop tables for accurate information. ______________________________________________ One Person - Ultimate Central Control Area and Seabed: Enemies stats are now set to equal multiplayer mode, and bosses (Gal Gryphon and Olga Flow) are no longer invincible.
  17. You finally got all the required elements.

  18. Many people are afraid to run Power Plant Plight in order to get PPP mags because they don't know the quest. So I decided to make a little video presenting the quest gameplay. Of course I'm not telling anyone to play it solo, but at least you know what kind of enemy spawns to expect and how to deal with them. The best class for the quest is Racast by far. Hunters are not needed. Ideally bring one Racast to each side of the quest, and eventually one Force in the team for Support. In the video I used invincibility to handle the plateform gibbles, but it is totally not required, you can just handle them with traps as a Cast or snow queen as a ranger fleshie. If you feel uncomfortable with the 4 corners mericarols spawn, ask the Force to come with you and spam Razonde from the middle in order to stunlock the Mericarols while you kill them one by one. If not you can also save one Gi gue and try to trigger mag invincibility thanks to their 900-damage Rafoie balls, then 30 seconds will be more than enough to finish the job. And bring several Scape dolls of course. You can also save your PB to revive other side teamates with Mylla/Youlla and donations. Optional waves can be interesting if you want to hunt Sealed J-sword at the same time but make sure you are on Shared dropstyle or you might burst into tears when it drops on the opposite side of the quest. (unless you really can't get an agreement with your team about how to share the drops) So now you have the power to farm the mags by yourselves...
