So. It is no secret that there is only one DM skin available on the internet as of now (and if there are more, they are extremely hard to find and I'm completely unaware of them). Because of that, and also because I find that particular DM skin pretty ugly, I decided to share some basic recolors I made of DM. They are not very good, so don't expect much, but if you don't like the original color of DM, black is always a good bet, I guess. I made three thus far. Black, Pink and Purple. I'm gonna share them, just in case some of you find them useful or appealing. I could also try to make some other colours on request. However, take into account that I can't be sure whether I can make the colour you want or that it'll look good. So. How to use the skin? It is simple. Inside the game's folder, there is this folder called "data". If you don't have a folder there called "items", you need to create it. Inside that folder there should be 2 other folders: "model" and "texture" (if you didn't have the folder "items", you also have to create these two folders). This allows you to use custom skins for -mags/wps- and such. For those who already use these kind of skins, you just need to copy the PRS file you want attached in the RARs into the folder "textures". Para la gente que habla español y no habla inglés. Es bien sabido que solo hay una skin de la Dark Meteor en internet ahora mismo (si hay más, son imposibles de encontrar y desconozco su existencia). Por este motivo, y porque la skin que existe ahora mismo de la DM no me gusta, decidí hacer unas modificaciones básicas al color de la DM que voy a compartir con vosotr@s. No son muy buenas, así que no espereis mucho, pero si no os gusta el color original de la DM, el negro es siempre una buena apuesta, supongo. Hice tres distintas. Negro, rosa y púrpura. Las voy a compartir por si le gustan a alguien. También podría intentar hacer un color específico si alguien tiene interés, pero no prometo que salga bien! Entonces. Como usar la skin? Es muy fácil. Dentro de la carpeta del juego, hay una carpeta llamada "data". Si dentro de esa carpeta no tenéis una carpeta llamada "items", creadla. Dentro de esa carpeta debería haber otras 2: "model" y "texture", las cuales debéis crear también, de ser necesario. Esto os permitirá utilizar skins propias para -mags/armas- etc. Para l@s que ya usáis este tipo de skins, solo necesitáis copiar el PRS que os guste en la carpeta "texturas". Hello! 😘 I just downloaded the game a few days ago. I happened to see a few people playing as NPC skins in the lobby, with Momoka's skin being of big interest to me. I asked the person using the skin how they managed to do it, but I think they were afk. Looking on the forum, I found lots of guides on how to create skins and edit them. However, I just want to know how to easily download a Momoka skin (or use the file for it that already exists in-game for the character itself) and install it in a way where I would be able to use it for one of my characters. I don't plan on editing Momoka's skin at all and would like to use it as is. After viewing the skin guides, I'm feeling very very overwhelmed and confused. I did download Texture Manager and AFS Manager, if those are necessary for what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm really not great with computers in regards to editing files and such, so the most straightforward explanation on how to do this would be GREATLY appreciated! 😭

first: a lot of my skins are adaptations for other skins (sometimes the original). for example I used the original microsoft skin of master chief and adapted to the ramar skin, and when i dont find some skin I do this second: Im not an expert but maybe i can help a little bit if someone want to make a skin. There is so many ways to make the same thing so you dont have to do in the same way. take a look to the 3d model well if you look, the blue jacket maybe look good with the armor and seems like trunks has white short pants in the wardrobe. you chose a model and start. With the vmt.exe open the file plAtex.afs (is in the data directory) and export the image that you gonna change to bmp (windows bit format) sorry for my english.

Hello guys I have been long ago try to make new skin for the PSO, for long i had no luck. But now i can give you all some guide for Skin makeing! In my example i will show how to make I had choosen a Ramarl's legging in my example. But with every else skin it will work. For this you need the VMT, a simple paint (i not had paint+ thing, but simple paint good), and the sellected afs (in my case it's the PlLtex.afs) One thing please Never forget, Make a backup file for the old skin, because if you fail to do one of the parameter, you have to start it again!!! Stepp one, Open VMT Stepp two With vmt open the the afs file (in my case it's the PlLtex.afs, as i mention before) Stepp three Scroll down to the "good number", where your skin is it in. (Legging on ramarl, is found in the PlLtex.afs and number image 239) Stepp four When your found the skin's number, you must have to export it as BMP. Stepp five Edit your skin, (since is it NOT photoshop, it will took a little longer, to make good quality one. I did the same with photoshop as well, but it's crashed over and over.) Stepp six Whenever you done with your skin, you must have to save it! AS bmp, no gif or such these Stepp seven (if you had closed your VMT then open it again) (if not, then just import the bmp) XBox/bb format! else it will be crash! Stepp eight Save your the project with the vmt care it will be the afs you pict. This time name it as PlLtex.afs NOTE:since the eddited skin, is imported as "XBox/bb format", i guess Everyone guess the afs you will Have to save as it's format is AFS BB/XBox format Stepp nine Push the New afs to the C:\......PSO\data folder Stepp ten Enjoy your new skin!!!!!!!!! If you haveing trobule then make sure that every step you did. if not then make it, if yes then leave leave a comment on my post, or pm me. Both is okay too Few general things with skins, those skins only YOU see! soo do not ask people how do you looks. unless if you post in forum you will have to look what is your default skin collor or armor collor, if you miss to check you may have to remake the skin or recrerate the carracter if speciality holds the skin, eg, racasseal with no skirt (good thing that casseals and casts be able to use all skin, but if your skin is white, and your new skin is made to black people... it's need to remake, or carracter remake)

Hello all you wonderful skinners (that sounds bad out loud.) I'm considering starting to try this whole thing out. I'd like to use some first to see how I feel about it and maybe gather ideas. Mainly what I'm looking for ATM are HUD skins and directions on how and where to place them, in English plz. Secondly I'd like to know what programs you guys use and such. If I could get like a walk trough on the process that would be perfect. I've had tons of ideas over my pso years but don't know what the limitations or requirements are? Sorry if this info is else where I'm lazy when it comes to threads but a point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Rien
