when I had my error I think I recall seeing the word "stack" somewhere... but that was a long time ago, wonder if it's related... what worries me is that I have a disk collection in my main bank... wonder if my bank items are at risk... probably not since I'm not really interacting with them atm am I?

hmm if a certain item gets you disconnected it's best you leave it by... I learned this the hard way. I had this rappy mag (forgot it's stats it was like 2 years ago) and one day I had this boss drop a very good rare (forgot what it was, all I know it was a saint million drop) and unfortunately disconnected me... as I returned I noticed my rappy mag and my tellusis mag were both gone (I still have the agaysta, thank goodness) and some of my weps (a lame d argent and kamui) were gone as well... the real kicker is that since I basically lost these out of nowhere I never had time to take pics (or use the log since I never talk about good weapons I secretly hoard etc...) thing is if I had talked to a GM back then considering how "jumpy" Ultima was back then (you know when broomop released DF's and PGF's everywhere) I would have probably been accused as a hacker and banned... well long story short.... if you find an item and DC's you... leave it there. same goes to ?XXXX items, call a GM and take pics to avoid sudden losses.

Because I have irreplaceable friends in this community, and because I happen to live near the admin's vicinity aside from that, the mods are giving it a very unique style.

oh well... all in all... I'm guessing the starting point would be the hunter's guild room itself, I sorta did plan to base myself a bit on realms of war (events and mob spawns in area 2 particularily) yeah plot is well... an excuse plot, basically this questline was built for the sole purpose of getting players to say I EARNED the right to bear Larva's new epic toy etc etc... being based on RoW as well would have meant this quest serves as well to gain some form of exp (great for unlocking weps or HH's 5xp) so I figured I might as well have some fun and send players with the most possible (fictional) grim ending Ultima can get, doomsday seems to be getting more and more popular these days aint it?

there's no possible way to avoid gameplay and story segregation at this point, yes the idea is rather incomplete as is but that's partially because I was aiming to explain the whole thing in a nutshell, then once I had drawn some form of crowd that can manage qedit attempt to flesh it out properly I'm not expecting to pull this off from one day to another like pulling a (magic) (bun)ny out of a hat, of course I would manage a more organized step by step, that does include, mob spawn locations, camera shot angles, warp location and alocation etc... similar to RPGXP I had a plot planned, then started to do some basic mapping, re-edited some plot then continued to flesh and event the map it's many passes and trial and error to complete these sorts of things of course I figured you'd reply with a great big "nope", I don't blame you really, it's not the first or the last time you'll see one of these posts with a semi-thought idea on the works. that's kinda the reason why I was either looking to have Ultima help me out or find and review some tutorials myself. either way, mods call the shots I'm just providing the ideas and such, hopefully I'll get a solid base to work on sometime.

Ok, the thing is... now we need someone with some knowledge on qedit, I can provide plot support (as I already have), quest testing and accurate translations from english to spanish and viceversa. qeditors that would like to help in, should know how to, - edit mob spawns in the map. -place events at said maps -place functioning warps at map -know how to alter text (I'll probably give this one a shot) -know how to handle events via variables (such as a mission succeeding or failing tied by a timer) these are just a few things that the questline would be using, as you can see it's nothing out of the world that qedit could handle (such as a gigantic rainbow rappy final boss), but oh well I'll probably have to crack open some qedit tutorials and see how I could handle quest 3 in particular.
