Game Freezes, Becomes Unresponsive

Hey guys,

I've been getting random client freezes when doing the Forest Offensive quest. Some details:

(1) It ONLY happens on this quest
(2) I've noticed it happening in the last 2 days (though haven't been on much before 2 days ago)
(3) It USUALLY happens in the last room with the laser fence + mothvests, but has occurred at other points

(4) It DOESN'T occur every game
(5) There is no action I'm aware of that's triggering it (eg I've been frozen in P2 just walking around, in the last room while fighting, in the first room with 3 hildas, etc.)

(6) The client freezes and becomes unresponsive. After about 5 minutes, I usually give up waiting and just Task Manager --> Force End the application and restart

Thought I'd bring it to your attention. Not an urgent matter, but good to be aware of I think

I haven't had any issue but i havent played that specific quest in a while... happens every time?

If it does then i will give it a few shots.

Using any game skins?

I don't think it could be a skin, since he said it only happens on FO although we all know how pso is and will break with anything.

I do have character skins, but none were on the level, character, weapon, armor, or mag I was using.

Doesn't happen every time, just once in a while. Maybe 1/4 runs?

Could be connection, do you change blocks often?

? What do you mean with connection... lag or even a disconnection won't freeze the game to the point of needing the task manager to force close (i think you can try this yourself).

It would happen to me a lot while watching youtube when my internet was less nice.

But could be some graphics card issue or some hardware/software that changed recently too.

It's hard to figure without an error code/log.

Tried a fresh install?

Sorry for hella-delayed reply.

I don't change blocks often. Should I?

Connection is usually fine. I'm the only one in my house when it was happening (~10 am), and have fiber so...inet is pretty good?

And yes, I need task manager to force close.

Probably you should change blocks often... still that should not make the game freeze.

Not planning to do FO for a while, but I'll update this if I noticing it happening again
