Just made a twinkle star because why not, but it says it boosts low level spells.. so, is that-simple techs? Because from what PSO-world says, it boosts normal-techs. TY in advanced

I'm new here so I don't expect my opinion to have much weight behind it. From what I can tell... The whole enemies have huge evasion makes having as much hit as possible (at times via DTs) Exp boosts are pretty significant. I have only been playing for one month casually and have multiple level 100+s Certain drops have been altered so that some are easier, others, more difficult. Now I know a lot of online quests make it easier to farm for certain items ( i remember getting my psycho wand took no time with i was online on the GC version), and there don't mind the drop rates. With all this in mind I feel that drop rates (outside from minor tweaking here and there) is fine. My foreseeable issue will be with hitting lvl 200 and not even being fully geared (endgame) I don't want this game to feel like the diablo series games where getting to max level is a breeze and then the real fight starts at max level, and I feel that may be the case. This is just my option, but I'm all for longevity. I like the fact that I can play this game for years casually and still not be max level. I always liked PSO for the fact that you always had multiple things on the table. If I had a say, I'd tone down enemy evasion to make farming 100s of the same item to finally get a good one with hit unnecessary. Maybe instead give enemies either higher hp or resists (my FOnewm flies through ep 1 and 4 and he has nothing except a few god minds and a hildeblues) I'd also maybe take the xp gain down a bit. Those are just my thoughts. I'm not sure about how difficult implementing such features is, Either way I like that this server isn't a cake walk and that's why I chose it over others. (that and the first day I was on the music was a weird cat version of space-magic fly and then music from a korean cartoon called larva was on after that.. now, say what you want about my music taste but I was sold!.. no more sonic music plz...) Anyways I'm sure things will work out for the best. Looking forward to any upcoming changes

Ah, dumb question. Weapon %s only affect the weapons damage correct? So 40% native on a wand wont affect my spells just the attacks i make with that wand. I'm pretty sure this is the way it has always been, but I've heard of a server where %s on weapons stacked with other technique multipliers (eg, red barrier) Thanks again (pretty sure that's the last thing I was curious about.. until i close in on end game itemization)

That's one thing I like about games like PSO. modern games lack diversity. each class,race and gender feels unique and offers it's own pros and cons. Looking at what PSU did to the game made me cry. It's just another Jmmorpg (aka dress up game) for anime obsessed individuals (no offense to that sub culture or anything). PSO has so much to offer and thankfully this servers members seem to get that and the constant updates and events make it that much more amazing. I have a black hound cuirass for my HUcast and a smoking plate for my FOnewm (granted both are not high enough lvl to use them) and was curious about what my ranger should use. ultimately yes sonic team armor is a must but, until then

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in med school so leveling up a blueful to be ready for seabed on ultimate by summer... may not happen. So i'll just hope it drops on my redria and go from there. Worst case scenario I have to wait till next summer. I'm this for the long haul so I don't mind. Considering I'm gonna need to farm for other important items (with hit%). btw, Is aura field still the best (or at least top 3) RAmar armors? im aiming for that along with a standstill shield.. but maybe that's outdated.

I wanted to make a blueful.. but wasn't sure what class to make it, I have played every class and was thinking HUmar or RAcast seeing as how I have a lineup of males already and can do some convenient handmedowning of items. Also I was planning on questing with friends which would make it much easier to get the item no? or are events only accessible via quests? Thanks for the heads up and all the information.

Thank you for the replies. I have frequented the wiki and pso-world for a long time now and already have a few good hit% vulcans and other weapons (preparing for item combination) Im have my FS and yas 9K and am working towards my spread needle. A few questions, if I may. Where do i find psycho raven? I havnt seen the item listed (is it an event item?) Also how do I get demons special on my yasminkov 9k? And i'll keep in mind about hit% I play with my cousin and he is a hunter and complains about missing so I'll pass on the info to him. Hey, as the topic states, I'm new to BB. I play RAmar (Purplenum), FOnewm (Redria) and HUcast (Whitill). My Card ID is 42169245. Block 2 is my home and my games are always listed as 'aaaa' because I am creative. I prioritize my ranger I suppose and was wondering if I could get a few tips. I recognize and have logiced my way through certain acronyms, but there are a few which I'm still uncertain of (such as DT) I realize that an end game Ranger will look much different than in GCs PSOep1&2, but so far the only thing I see as a staple is Dark Meteor. any help in what section IDs i should be running alone with any other information would be great. Alias: Brobot Age: 28 Contact: PM Hobbies: PSO, Monster Hunter, FF Crystal Chronicles, Movies, Music, Cooking, Outdoors (to list a few) I have been playing PSO for about 15 years now. I started on the Game Cube and played through corrupted data 3 times. Each time getting further than the last. Recently started PSOBB on the Ultima Server and am enjoying it. especially due to having done the exp grind so many times. I am now able to hunt for weapons while everything else comes naturally. I lived in Japan (i am fluent) and almost got a job for SEGA as I was studying and doing work with music production, but due to visa issues that is not whats going on right now. I have been an active member of pso-world for some time as well and my first time playing online was about 13 years ago. I have yet to see any old faces but have been keeping to myself on this server so far. If you want to come and say hi I'm usually in lobby 2 (but mostly in game) I play a Purplenum RAmar, a Redria FOnewm, and a Whitill HUmar. I find they are all very fun, strong and good at what they do. I play with my cousins and some mutual friends of ours (covering all section IDs) and we are currently just trying to get back to where we are on the DC version of the game. Nice to meet you all.
