I made this with the topic title/summary to try grab Larva’s attention, incase he doesn’t read through that whole topic. Though yes it is basically all stuff you and others have said condensed and put across in a single post.

Hopefully @Larva notices this post and responds. I am making this topic for the sake of the GMs, the current community and new players. There are many many topics and posts of ideas to improve the server, which could be voted on as polls etc, however this is impossible with the current level of authority R-78 (the most active GM that does 90% of everything to keep this server alive) and poor Soly who everything else falls on. We play here as we do really love the server you have created and we are all extremely thankful to you. However going forward I’m sure 99% of players here would agree that GMs need more permissions to do things like 5x exp/green names/ server improvements (EG a poll to revert the evp of mobs on ep2) without having to await a reply from you as you can’t be online often enough for any of this to happen which is understandable. We also really need someone to help Soly, R-78 and Serverus with such things. Obviously we would all love you to be more active but as you can’t I feel something needs to change here badly to keep the server alive and relevant. if you read this, thanks for atleast reading.

Exactly! Everything falls on R-78 and Soly who can’t implement anything without approval then you have let’s say Brand+9 who does literally nothing other than threaten to ban people/whine and want chatbox removed because he hates other peoples opinions and seeing others have friends. How the hell are GMs meant to do anything when they’re so restricted and some should have their status removed from the server as they contribute 0. Except elitism and passive aggressiveness of course as that attracts new players and banging on about bloody TA who no one cares about.

If anything, THIS is the biggest change that is needed, giving some power over to you, serverus and Soly. I’m sure you’ve suggested this before but if Larva can’t get online much then this NEEDS to happen for everyone’s sake as it’s so dumb how bottlenecked you are in doing anything. I really think I may make a topic or contact Larva about this and others really should too as it’s so incredibly stupid and need to get this point across one way or another.

You have to want to communicate with the community and not be an opinionated ahole that feels superior to everyone to understand this point, so it’ll fall on deaf ears as we aren’t optimal or elite enough. We just spam “bad” quests with our DMs and have fun and make friends, friends are bad mmkay, 3 not friends is optimal for TA. No more and you’re not even allowed to think about listening to their opinions or letting them speak; you talk at them until they nod and agree as bored as f**k of you. This is the community we should strive for!! also whales and @@@@@@@@

Be really good if Soly can implement this (even if another poll is needed first about nerfing ep2 evp) and possibly get you the permission for changing exp rate/greens without Larva having to be around/do it as you are far more active so could turn it on/off much easier/more often, as obviously having it on 24/7 isn’t what’s wanted either. Begin the polls and give the queen exp privileges protest has begun! We will give Larva many whales with booty pants if both happen.

I’m not sure why everyone is on about Ephinea? We aren’t trying to be vanilla at all. I wouldn’t want vanilla exp rates and all original only weapons as I’ve done that with GameCube and sure many others feel the same, however if people do want that, then there is another server for that, so would be pointless cloning them, when both can offer something unique. The voting system is a good idea but bare in mind R-78 literally did this weeks ago for the summer Morfos buffs (we had a poll) It could happen more often though for sure

Could this be something Soly could fix with Larva’s approval? As for 5x exp, I think we all meant the random weekend here and there of it and no drops added to gal. Not all year round as then it detracts from having it on during events if it’s just 24/7. You can also lower experience if you really wish to with a command If 5x exp and greens were on prior to events I think it’d stop this scenario: When levelling a new character and an event is on you feel torn between hunting or levelling. (Except PoST or Hylian) but personally I like to TTF ultima to level for a change of pace from CCA and even some of your quests as 5x exp from all those mobs adds up and you can hunt too. Though the case of, should I go hunt with people or spam CCA to get all chars maxed during events is a thing (for me atleast with like 8 characters and likely another 4 soon) especially if you have limited time to play. I kind of feel the exp and green names should be separate to events, or activated before them by just a little. Event timing is also everywhere but I understand this because Larva isn’t always active and it isn’t as simple as pressing a button to turn it on, but actual set dates for events would be nice and sticking to them. (Looking at you Easter event and maybe even valentines too this year?)

Do you ever miss an opportunity to bash the GMs (more specifically @R-78) or us as a community yet you play here or at the very least post/chat box moaning/being superior about us all the time? That’s not good for new players to see either, you know, with the green name acting like an elitist who doesn’t value the player base or even the GMs.. 🙄 As for what could improve people playing here, I don’t think the buffs are keeping people away. I will agree that during event downtime there is less incentive to play. I personally like levelling up a new character so random x5 exp etc would defiantly make me play more between events and I feel this shouldn’t be event only. Sadly Larva also isn’t very active so relies on Soly and R-78 to actually do things like this and they have lives too outside of ultima. Generally 5x exp/green names be nice and so would more mini events, stuff like hit for PDs, a few event items dropping for a week or two. Say something like STA (may be too op but as an example) dropping the opposite time of the year it normally does for a very limited time at harder drop rates. Like some Xmas drops in July after event for a week at reduced rates. It is an old game though and I personally will always return here as everyone is so welcoming and generally a nice bunch.
