First thing you can do which helps a lot is a solo ep IV quest called Restless Lion. Any FO can solo it easily with rabarta/rafoie/grants/jellen, just freeze the npc's first. I play FOmar myself. Do it up until the npc drops a raygun and theres a good chance it will have 50% HIT on it - get a Demon's, Hell, Geist, and Arrest high hit rayguns and you'll have a very nice little toolkit in addition to your FO weapons. And people will buy the Rifle and Shot for a few PDs if you get good stats on them. There's a bunch of other weapons that drop, but Raygun is probably the most useful for FOnewearl, and FO's in general, maybe the Slicer too. A smartlink to increase accuracy, and a v501 or v502 is good to increase the chance of status'ing with a weapon, and both are relatively cheap. If you are redria, try farming a Magic Stone Iritista and getting a high hit slicer-type weapon to make Rainbow Baton which has unreduced Chaos and is excellent for crowd control when Rabarta isn't a good option (i.e. a confused baranz or two will take out a room for you, some stuff immune to freeze, some stuff you wont want to walk up to rabarta, etc.) Until you get good weapons from Events, try to focus on Crowd control, debuffing, statusing, and hitlocking enemies.

As of now, I have a FOmar around lv 110 or so. I basically have nothing useful beyond basic trash rares, i.e. elemental wands, charge mechgun with 30% hit, low defense armor/shields, and low tech lvls. I do have a rainbow baton though, as well as heavenly/battle and v801. That's probably the extent of my items. I go in trading rooms and see things like 50 hit Excals, Dark bridge, Girasoles, and a bunch of other stuff that is far beyond my own abilities. I'm Whitill if that matters. Right now, doing any kind of solo in ult is out of the question, and in groups, all I can really do is Zalure/Jellen and then resta/shifta/deband/rabarta since I don't want to damage cancel with my low dmg techs and such, and my weapons are nowhere near good enough to contribute to a group. I thought about hunting a glide divine, but not sure how useful that would be. I haven't really felt like I've made any progress on my character, and I've been out of the loop for a long time. I've played this game forever, but never had a 'strong' character. I do enjoy challenge mode a lot though - are there any S-ranks that are viable on FOmar, or does the lack of hit% make them useless on this character? I don't really know where to start, I feel kind of useless in groups since I die all the time and my techs are too low to be useful. I am also broke, so DTs are out of the question for me. Any ideas on weapons to make me competent in ult that I would be able to farm at the moment?

Sorry I'm a noob - what does this mean? Is there a particular repeatable quest that lets one rush de rol le?

On my last server-that-shall-not-be-named, there was an event Chameleon Scythe with 33 hit - this weapon featured an unreduced Geist special, and was fantastic for restoring TP, and had low enough requirements to be usable by all classes. I like to not be dependant on fluids for TP-restore, but will use them in a pinch if needed. FOmar is notorious for having poor accuracy, and most weapons don't seem to offer much in terms of TP restore. The most viable option I've found has been the 50-hit double saber, which requires going through the government quests, which will take awhile to be able to do solo as a Force. It is also a low-damage melee weapon, so not sure of its viability in Ult. I was considering doing C-Mode to possibly get a s-rank Slicer with Geist, but given that it won't have any ATA on it, I'm not sure if that would be wise (and it would likely have reduced efficacy since it's a multi-hit weapon). Possibly the SNS glitch can be used to make it work? What do you guys use for your TP-restore methods on this server? Thanks in advance.
