It's difficult to create new weapons that fit in to the rest of the game well and fill gaps that are lacking. I've done a buttload of weapons before now and was running a little dry on ideas, for this event I simply could not get my new concepts ready in time, so I'm sorry for that. That being said, 10 year blades looks incredibly good to me as a weapon; it has great stats even if the skin is a little borked atm, but there will be a new skin for it soon that looks really cool.

    Would've been nice if it was a double saber animation.

    With the enemies high evp espically on ep 2 probably 2 or 3 special hits out of 5 hits is gonna confirm with hucast ata.

    There are probably other differences but I haven't tried Ten Years blade so I couldn't say, @Noob Saibotwould be more knowledgeable on that subject. However, I would not say it's not worth it by what I've seen and heard.

    Even if PR has a poor special it's insane dmg output makes up for it. As for TYB, it's special of any sort is meh, it's regular slow combo animation on male classes is meh. Sorry but there is no comparison PR tops this new TYB anyday. Glad I didn't waste no PBC on it.
