This is what I want you to do, check the resolution on Widescreen mode, change the resolution on your monitor to anything else, (I understand it's native, but change it for the sake of the test, should support 1280x720) and then find the resolution on PSO.
If all this fails, try to re-install the game, if it persists feel free to PM me, so we can get things sorted for you.

It's not a desktop issue it seems, it's still a resolution issue, trying changing your resolution to anything that can be supported by PSO and run it, see if it fixes it, if not we can try and find out what could be wrong.
Also make sure you have exceptions in your Antivirus and Firewall for the whole folder.

Something like 30-40 ATA I think.

It adds an invisible ATA to any projectile, and it's actually a must on most classes, if not all that can wield them.

You can find the team you like through the forums or through the lobby, ask the people on that team, there should be people there to help you get into a team.

On other servers, there have been various readers at one point or another which display things like the Shifta and Deband level and time left for each player in the party. Is there one for Ultima? I've also been wondering if there is one which reads mag invincibility and displays it as seconds left.
I haven't seen around, and I wouldn't venture into readers in general xD.
Do quests still give out rewards? if so do quests need to be done solo to get reward? do I need to set game to single player or can I leave it online and still go through quest?
Depends on the quest, things like EP4 Mop up quests still do. So if you can be a bit more specific, would be awesome

Idk but is replace the arrest raygun with a holy ray w/ hit since ur humar and add a p ravens to squishs list coz fak they op ;D also maybe some s-red blades
You can add holy ray but I personally prefer Arrest Raygun due to the fact you can find one with high hit. Pravens was mentioned by Judgement.

Alright, since you will probably level fast and you're in Ultimate right now, here's a proposed idea:
Weapons Level <150:
Red Sword, Excalibur, Diska of Braveman, Charge Gatlings/Vulcans, Charge Raygun.
Weapons > 150:
Now you're at a point where you can equip most things. So here's a suggested plan of things to get (things like TJS, Darkflow I would wait on)
Jizai, Zanba, Excalibur, Diska of Braveman, Charge Gatlings/Vulcans, Charge Raygun, Slicer of Fanatic/Demon Raygun, Hell Raygun, Arrest Raygun.
End game would look like what Judgement said but imo, things you can work on are, Arrest Jcutter, Type ME Mechs with Demon.
Armor:
Anything is fine, work your way till 192 and equip a Wedding Dress as end game.
Barriers:
Prior to 150, anything is fine really, people like Standstill shield. When you get to 150 that's when you wear a Red Ring.
Mags:
Hunter Mags usually have lots of Dex on them. This link can give you specific plans based on equipment, but should be modified slightly if you plan on wearing a Cent/Battle. In essence, you need a MAG with more than 60 dex if you are going to use that plan. http://www.phantasystaronline.net/forum/index.php?/topic/2995-new-material-plans/. If you plan on wearing a Cent/Ability (or change MAG Dex and add more Power Materials) + Cent/Battle, you should then look for a Mag with similar stats as the one posted (albeit a difference of +/- 1-2 Dex). The 145/50 MAGS are ranger MAGs, focusing on power rather than Dex. HUmars have the 2nd highest ATP in the game but their ATA is a bit of an issue.
Units:
With the above plan, you have 2 free slots. If you don't want to use a Cent/Battle with V101 alone and that plan you have 3 extra slots. Regardless things to consider are V502, Smartlink (a must), perhaps a Proof of Sword Saint. Cure/shock, Cure/Freeze etc.

I like to listen music while I play, listening team members would ruin it for me xD and that's not the main problem, thing is that my main language is spanish, I still have some problems to understand english listening to it, I can speak it fine though
Well, like Fyrewolf mentioned, it's not required to be on everyday, or to talk and listen; just having it is enough for when we have team meetings etc. We have Spanish speakers in our Vent as well if you feel language will be an issue. Check us out, I am sure you will like us

Alright, here is a few things you can do:
1) Check your firewall
2) Put your items in the back and log off, then take them back.
3) Check your resolution settings, making sure it's like the desktop resolution.
4) Check your antivirus and make sure you have a global exception for the PSO folder
5) Try to determine the patterns in which you get dc'd since it could be anything.
6) See if there is something running that may conflict with PSO.
Let's see if any of those work before going into advanced stuff xD

When does it show up? Randomly or at specific times?

Hi, pretty new to Ultima, so I have a few questions.
1. What do all these acronyms mean? Such as TTF and POD.. etc I'm sure there are more I see and have no idea what they mean.
2. Is there anyway to prevent random disconnects when using the bank? (It happens a lot for me)
3. A lot of items listed under the Ultima only items are not listed on the droptable. Is there a place to find out how to obtain them? e.g. Centurion/Battle
4. A few times, I've seen announcements for events come up, but I have no freaking clue how to participate and I just end up missing them, so is there a list of possible events somewhere?

Hey and welcome I am just going to elaborate on Armando's post.
1) TTF stands for Towards the Future which is a quest in ep 1 VR that people early on to gain levels. It runs through all of episode 1 basically. POD is Point of disaster in EP4 Ultima or after completing all the government quests on Ep. 4; which is the fastest way to Shambertin. RT is Respective Tomorrow which is in EP 2 and similar in concept to TTF but with more Exp. DTS are donation tickets, PDs are Photon drops and ROCT is Raid on Central Tower. These are the common ones I hear xD.
2) Changing blocks often is the best way, it also might mean you have a bugged item or such in the bank. Take pictures often. By pressing PRT SC on your keyboard. It should be located in your PSO folder under BMP.
3) These items are obtained at specific times. Things like Centurion/battle in the past have dropped in the Summer Event along with Psycho Black Crystal (to make Psycho Ravens) and Trap Search? something like that. There are major events all year around. The notable things in each Event include: Easter: Proof of Sonic Team and Soul Booster (last event), Summer (past event): Psycho Black Crystal and Centurion/Battle, Triforce (past): Hylian Shield, Wizard/Resist and Master Sword, Halloween (past): Ultima Reaper, Anniversary (past): Sonic Team Armor, Christmas (past) Parasitic Gene Flow. There are way more drops but those were the most notable.
4) There are some GM made mini events that happen randomly, some can be found on the Events page but others are just spur of the moment. If in doubt just ask around in lobby.

You will need to provide, the time and date, your guildcard number, and the character slot that has the bug.
You also need to provide pictures as Armando mentioned. Sadly you need a rollback :c

From what I know from ROCT, the issue is the game crashing if you complete it with 2 players.
