  1. I have a completely rebalanced drop table done on a spread sheet if Larva or a GM wanted to see it.
  2. Ah, so the GC original merges?
  3. Is Si, Gi, Ra, Megistrade, Healing, et cetera... Merge implemented on this server? If so, how much % does it increase techs by?
  4. A Dark Falz drop? Why? Again, people don't use L&K38 Combat very often on that server because it is accepted that it is, at best, better than Charge Vulcan in very specific circumstances. Schtserv got passed the 'L&K38 is the best weapon ever made' phase a long time ago. Also, it's terrible for DMC.
  5. I think just having it as a harder drop, giving it an amount to unseal (20-30K), or both would suffice. These things drop like candy on Schtserv (1/9ish drop from Barba Ray/Dal Rie Lie), and even with 0 Hit they're still almost as good as high hit ones, but they're not used THAT much, so I have my doubts that the availability may be the entire problem (I don't think there's a problem.) But if you want to see a lot less of them, that's not a bad way to go.
  6. Actually there isn't really anything objective about what you have said. Or if there is objectivity to what you're saying, you haven't taken the time to explain why, or how it affects the game, and why that would be important. Or why your suggestions would help, or be necessary. i.e. Why do Hunters require Guld Milla? You didn't elaborate on that. You just said it was useless. But many items are useless in PSO; that doesn't mean it is a legitimate reason to start modifying them or giving them to specific classes, because then we'd have a laundry list of unnecessary changes. Most of the discussion is subjective because of those facts, actually.
  7. Guld Milla is not useless for Rangers. It's one of the only weapons that can damage Dark Falz Third Form while invincible. I'll be here all week.
  8. If we're talking about real solutions, the solution is to become a better player. Then you won't use L&K38 as much because it's really not that good in most situations. If everyone using it is a concern, then just raise the ATA requirement so only HU and RA can use it, maybe HUcasts maximum ATA value. Then make it a harder drop. And if you REALLY want, add an unsealing option, somewhere around 20-30K would be fine.
  9. If you believe this weapon is overpowered, I would like to hear your explanation as to why you believe it is overpowered, and what you define as 'overpowered' in PSO. I think it's only the polite thing to do. After all, I did put a lot of effort in to posting the points I did. It would be nice to see you address them.
  10. Thanks for the compiled information Larva. One more question, were the new material limits for the characters implemented, or is it still 250 for Humans, 150 for Casts/Newmans?
  11. Then maybe it is a question of availability, and not how good L&K38 is? I am not surprised that many people would use it, because it is a strong weapon at any level, regardless of Shifta, and it is accurate because you can NHH rather than NSS, so it is an ideal weapon of choice on low level characters and for players that don't have very good gear. But on a player that's well equipped, and knows how to handle mobs, it's hardly the weapon of choice most of the time.
  12. Unfortunately, even though these FO changes are nice, they are not going to improve how a FO will function in a multimode game. Only in solo. Larva, out of curiosity, are you able to edit or modify hitbox sizes for techniques?
  13. Well...Charge Vulcan being 'not fun' because it's not a rare weapon is subjective. It's not an objective fact, so I don't think that should be argued. Master Raven has near the same ATP as L&K38, and far lower damage per second than both Charge Vulcan and L&K38 Combat.
  14. Another point that I would like to make as a pre-emptive strike to replies that may follow, another argument that I have seen made here is that 'Hunters are hunters, who use close range combat, and should not be given Ranger weapons, otherwise it defeats the purpose of a Ranger, because they have higher ATP, et cetera'. On Schthack, Rangers are better than Hunters (barring maybe HUcast, which is debatable prior to Rainbow release), and they have combo unlock Master Raven/Last Swan, combo unlock L&K38, and Rangers don't have a suped up Dark Meteor. While the three weapons discussed in my opening post are ranged weapons, they do not give a Hunter the utility of a ranger. Hunters cannot point in any given direction of a room and combo kill said entire room with a Charge Arm/Dark Meteor combo. If a Hunter wants to be effective within groups, they need to rely on that mutlihit weapons available to them, which mostly constitutes Diska of Braveman and Dark Flow. Diska of Braveman can't hit more than 4 enemies if my memory is working properly, and Dark Flow is close range (outside of special, which has risks and is hard to use unless the spawn is perfectly lined up). So allowing Hunters to gun down enemies from afar one by one when Rangers have access to Needles and Shots, among other things, will not replace the need or use for a Ranger. Rangers will probably still always be better.
