I meant just what I wrote in that previous post about doing a pow mag for naga (panzer tail), which applies to power mags in general. Ideal Mag feeding is not actually that difficult, it looks really complex if you don't know much, but it's not very deep. The majority of foods are just bad and there are only a few real options at each stage. The feeding charts can easily help you determine what sorts of foods are actually useful.
Rangers get higher potentials on single stat mags because between 35-50 they can feed certain foods to only have gain that one stat (monomates +3pow only, monofluids +4mind only, antiparalysis +20dex only), but the pow and mind are very slow going, though the dex is the fastest gains then, so they make good mag raisers for mags that don't only need moderately low dex values. Even if ra has both the best potential lowest dex and fastest dex gain options, hu/fo gets the sol atomizer option between 35-50 which gives mostly power with only mild dex gain which is faster and easier to keep dex low than a Ranger can with his slower low-dex options.
